Moscow – Iran Nuclear Summit 2012
June 21, 2012
By Padmini Arhant
Moscow hosted the summit on Iran’s civilian nuclear program.
UNSC permanent members plus Germany i.e. P5+1 and EU foreign secretary Catherine Ashton along with Iran held talks this week on Iran’s nuclear development maintained by the Islamic Republic as involvement for civil purpose such as isotopes in nuclear medicine and energy option.
Although there was no consensus arrived at this session, the agreement to attend next meeting scheduled in Istanbul, Turkey on July 2 – 3, 2012, providing technical details is significant.
Besides the host nation Russia’s initiative to encourage dialogue by creating an opportunity to share thoughts and grievances is praiseworthy.
Iran having complied with every western powers i.e. United States, England, Israel and key EU members’ demand justifiably seeking removal of economic sanctions and financial transaction SWIFT and other facility reactivation.
Oil embargo on Iran is affecting rest of the world especially developing nations and austerity imposed euro zone nations more than Iran despite Saudi Arabia increased crude oil output to exacerbate Iranian population suffering.
For amicable resolution the disputing parties cooperation would have enormous impact in alleviating tension alongside rewarding one another for incremental progress that could lead to mutually desirable outcome.
In this instance, Iran’s adherence to western sponsored IAEA and UN inspection and further willingness to allow additional verification in any controversial sites deserves recognition revoking crippling economic sanctions that are major impediments in eliminating undercurrents on nuclear discourse.
Additionally, Iran consent to uranium enrichment threshold of 20% – internationally acknowledged limit barring advancement to nuclear weapon status combined with request for neutral nuclear states shipment of remaining fissile material exclusively to enhance medical treatment saving lives is a step in the right direction and merits western powers reconciliation.
Iran with all of these proposals and exemplified actions has met western requirements including cohesive participation guaranteed in the coming weeks on nuclear components and proportion to be evaluated prior to moving ahead on the chartered civilian nuclear goals.
Similarly, Israel being the other side having put forth numerous conditions on Iran through strong ally United States and EU is also obligatory to honor international treaty by submitting to Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) and most importantly Fissile Material Cutoff Treaty (FMCT) for fairness and credibility.
Israel’s conciliatory response would then justify concerns on potential nuclear threat from Iran and,
Also address similar apprehension among Arab neighbors regarding Israel’s covert nuclear warheads posing imminent danger in the region.
Unlike Israel, Iran has no nuclear weapons in possession with nuclear capability not on the agenda considering Iran’s head of the political system Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s anti-nuclear stance following Islamic faith as religion of peace forbid weapons of mass destruction.
Poignantly United States and Israeli intelligence as well as military until now has confirmed Iran’s non-nuclear weapon status.
Hence, speculations on Iran’s nuclear ambition unnecessarily contribute to hostility with ramped up military incursions on the Persian Gulf.
Notwithstanding Israel’s existential preparation to attack Iran’s nuclear site sadly ignoring self-devastation and inevitable endangerment of U.S. troops across Middle East, Islamic nations in Central Asia and Indian sub-continent.
The cavalier approach in the face of evidences clarifying otherwise supported by western agencies monitoring Iran’s engagement together with series of multilateral exchange would be counterproductive.
Western powers reciprocation in lifting all sanctions against Iran would enable anticipated milestones on the contentious nuclear issue.
While the world patiently awaits peaceful settlement on nuclear matter between Israel and Iran,
Nuclear disarmament and nuclear energy abandonment is incumbent upon all nuclear and non-nuclear states to ensure global security.
The universal commitment in this regard is the only way forward for life existence and planet sustenance.
Good Luck! To Israel and Iran in succeeding on bilateral peace accord for the safety and prosperity of present and future generation not only in their domain but the world at large.
Peace to all!
Thank you.

United States – G8 Summit May 2012
May 19, 2012
By Padmini Arhant
Warm Greetings! To G8 leaders at the 2012 summit in Camp David, Maryland.
The exclusive membership represented by North Atlantic nations – United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Germany with the exception of Russia and Japan might have the opportunity to shed light on current events in Europe and the usual targets North Korea, Iran and Syria on the security context.
However, the organization validity would be poignant upon integrative approach rather than isolationism that are obsolete and redundant evident in the status quo.
Dissolving G8 and improving G20 forums in dealing with global challenges would be frugal in the contemporary austerity era saving time and valuable taxpayer dollars besides correlation with relevant geopolitical and economic dynamics contributing to global sustenance preventing catastrophic meltdown.
Economy – Euro zone objectives lacking in candor and specificity responsible for members precipitous decline not only in economic status but also political stability considering the latest instructions from dominant powers to Greece on austerity, referendum and general governance.
Similarly France and PIGS countries sharing the dilemma expected to follow suit severely undermines national sovereignty in exchange for membership demanding more and providing little or none to the manufactured crises in the region.
While rigorous measures implemented much to the population detriment in Euro zone rescue efforts,
The source causing the chronic problems for euro zone subordinates –
The central banks viz. ECB, Bank of England, the privately owned Federal Reserve in the United States, IMF, World Bank and prominent western financial institutions having emerged the real beneficiaries instead of being held accountable ironically protected from any potential financial calamity.
Governments hit with worst economic recession in Europe are subjected to massive layoffs in the conditional monetary proposals neglecting euro zone taxpayers money wasted in hiring European commission bureaucrats apparently appointed for life costing ailing EU economies billions of euros and raising credibility factor in fiscal treaty.
Credit rating agencies downgrading Spain and Greek banks for bad loans on the books generating major liquidity concerns contrary to treatment against western counterparts – the origin of subprime mortgage and hedge fund debacle exempt from such standards and rewarded with taxpayer funded bailouts in trillions of dollars since 2008 until now.
The discriminatory practices directly affect public depleting hard earned savings exacerbating financial woes for college students and small-medium business owners constituting the backbone of the economy as workers, consumers and taxpayers in the society.
Another G8 dogma consistently pursued benefitting the privileged despite negative returns for nations in Latin America and Asia like South Korea is Free Trade Agreement.
Free Trade Agreement unlike Fair Trade Agreement sought by nations across the globe deprives negotiations on equal footing subjugating partners for unlimited access to domestic markets, national resources and human capital exploitation at respective citizens misery.
Again at this G8 meeting, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper enthusiastic pledge to promote Free Trade Agreement ignoring partner nations experience demonstrated in main street protests confirms the nexus group priority on global dominance.
Agriculture – G8 influential members in cohort with powerful corporations viz. Monsanto and agro based manufacturers behind farmers deteriorating conditions to survive and effectively compete in the globalized setting led to suicide and bankruptcies amongst farming community worldwide.
Politics and Global Security – Fundamental transformation with departure from U.S. led NATO military operations and provocative deployments adopting peace, diplomacy and economic development would clarify G8 commitment to humanitarian progress.
The political motives aimed at destabilizing West Asia through –
Arms supply sabotaging ceasefire in Syria,
Crippling sanctions against Iran even in the absence of nuclear capability per U.S. and Israeli military and intelligence reports,
Decimating Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya,
Authorizing Saudi Arabia with illegal annexation of Bahrain for strategic control is anything but democratic to intelligent minds in the international domain.
Environment – The trend continuity reflected in environmental goals with fossil fuel and nuclear industry financing political campaigns jeopardize climate talks from fruition.
More pertinently defense industry and Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) combined with Trilateral Commission driven foreign policy determination to establish one world government through permanent occupation and illegal invasions pose existential threat to humanity endangering life and habitat.
Transfer of power from oligarchy and monarchy with imperialistic aspirations to republic rule is the only viable solution for universal peace and prosperity.
The nation at the foothills of Himalayas – Nepal successfully dethroned monarchy rejecting feudalist system in modern age.
Western nations and allies in this regard maintaining medieval kingdoms and fiefdoms under ceremonial pretext but in reality wielding tremendous authority is a paradoxical trait for shadow powers envisaging space colonization.
Dreams for greater good could be an eventuality contradictory to narrow vision premised on self-interests remaining a mere fantasy.
People power is the imminent future for mankind with pervasive freedom, equality and tranquility.
Peace to all!
Thank you.

UN Vote on Palestinian Statehood
April 21, 2012
By Padmini Arhant
Arab Spring continues to draw world attention especially UNSC vigorous role against selective nations at United States and allies behest,
While decades old freedom struggle in Israeli occupied Palestinian territories regarded irrelevant even though casualties in Gaza, West Bank and East Jerusalem alone exceed Arab Spring states combined together in the last decade.
The political uprising in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain, Libya and Syria are outbursts from prolonged suppression whereas Palestinian suffering is endurance to classic colonization rule.
Palestinian right to exist and self-determination vehemently denied by occupier Israel somehow not considered an urgent issue by the international organization responsible for the status quo in the establishment of Israel alongside neglecting Palestinian homeland entitlement.
Had UN concurrently declared Palestinian statehood on May 14, 1948 many lives could have been saved on both sides,
Besides preventing controversial and provocative Jewish settlements in West Bank and East Jerusalem carried out in defiance of international denouncement.
UN as an international body maintaining non-discriminatory practice towards all would clarify credibility in settling disputes without being used a political tool at the victims’ plight.
Meanwhile Israeli check posts in West Bank and barrier wall in East Jerusalem rendering natives life impossible constitutes oppression.
Furthermore illegal administrative detention of Palestinians in hundreds held in Israel’s custody without charge or trial are few of many atrocities committed against Palestinian population by the state of Israel.
The recent UNHCR vote on settlements expansion with overwhelming majority demanding encroachment termination is ignored without consequences such as sanctions and standard measures that otherwise imposed on United States adversaries in the region.
United States veto until now favoring Israeli government aggression confirms hypocrisy in humanitarian matter largely attributed to Israel subjugation of the so-called superpower diminished to compliance to Israeli interests and quest for global dominance.
Palestinian statehood could no longer be differed or rejected with veto threats from the United States and allies in the forefront preaching democracy, human rights and political independence – the package deal offered to preferred nations contrarily declined to Palestinians pleading for statehood recognition over half a century.
United Nations purpose would be meaningful and credible upon expediting similar decision on Israel in 1948 i.e.
Palestinian sovereignty and comprehensive removal of Israeli presence from Palestinian territories based on pre 1967 borders conforming to international acknowledgment.
South Africa would not be free without worldwide condemnation of apartheid exemplified in necessary actions like trade embargo and isolation by international community.
With Palestine – dialogue and peaceful negotiations through quartet and U.S. initiatives inherently biased to ally Israel has facilitated territorial conquest via unlawful residential allotments to Jewish settlers proliferating beyond reason.
Alternatively stalling peace talks with unreasonable demands and pre-conditions insisting on no stipulations contradictory to assertions by Israel.
Carte blanche to Israeli military attacks on Gaza regardless of civilian deaths with experimental missiles testing Iron Dome (anti-rocket / missile-defense system) effectiveness in the preparation to pre-emptive strike against Iran.
Israel never subjected to IAEA or UN inspection on nuclear status despite being the only nuclear state with military invasion history across Middle East.
Unfortunately, Israel – the holocaust survivor has evolved into genocide contributor with footprints in contemporary violence involving innocent civilians across the border and around the world.
Israel could refrain from self-detrimental activities and reverse the trend beginning with Palestinian cause, cooperation in the international nuclear disarmament, demonstrating patience in Iran – EU nuclear discourse, abstention in Syrian political crisis…among numerous life threatening events.
It is time for United Nations to move forward without prejudice on Palestinian statehood accompanied by full UN membership invitation to the people of Palestine and prove the global representatives commitment to universal liberty and justice.
UN procrastination under domineering powers pressure would invalidate identity as the international group of sovereign nations pledged to global peace and emancipation.
Free and sovereign Palestine would promote solidarity and mutually beneficial trade relations with Israel as well as other neighbors in the region.
Wishing Palestinian citizens – independent Palestine with peace and prosperity in abundance and,
To Israel – peaceful co-existence and eternal progress in serving humanity at large.
Peace to all!
Thank you.

March 28, 2012
By Padmini Arhant
Warm Greetings! To world leaders at the Nuclear Security Summit 2012 in Seoul, South Korea.
This is an important event providing an opportunity to share and discuss global security concerns from nuclear arsenal.
The lingering tensions between Israel and Iran on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program is the bone of contention with United States as Israel’s strong ally having imposed crippling sanctions and disabled SWIFT freezing financial payments services on trade to exacerbate Iran’s economic conditions are pre-emptive measures in the long desired global confrontation.
Similarly closer to summit venue in the Korean peninsula – North Korea announcement to launch satellite into orbit and rocket positioning creating anxiety among neighbors and U.S. strategic partners South Korea and Japan.
Iran and North Korea participation rather than isolation in the summit would have been prudent in fostering constructive dialogue and meaningful solutions to impending nuclear issues.
Inclusion not exclusion transcending politics and ideology is crucial for global peace and harmony.
Within Asia, U.S promoted India’ s nuclear power project with enriched uranium supply from United States has prompted nuclear state Pakistan across the Indian border to pursue equivalent deal for formidability in Fissile Material Cut-Off Treaty (FMCT) vis-à-vis India as predicted escalating nuclear arms race in the region.
Not to mention the nuclear developments via nuclear energy in the Indian sub-continent extending further into China – another nuclear state adjusting potential to meet with changing nuclear weapons status emanating from U.S. initiative.
The situation also facilitates U.S. and NATO military operation premised on deterrence against Pakistan’s militant groups from gaining access to nuclear arsenal forming a never ending cycle in the indefinite mission for global dominance.
In the western front – United States presence through NATO expansion in Eastern Europe with missile defense system perceived as provocative stance by Russia considering the proximity and installation directed at Russia.
Accordingly Russia’s proactive defense shield strategy related to ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) besides U.S. tactical weapons and short-range missiles continues to arouse skepticism on both sides sparking a comment from Russian President Dmitry Medvedev during recent Euro-Atlantic security conference in Moscow calling for Euro-Atlantic security community to evolve from myth into reality.
Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) comprising Russia and Central Asian countries membership to counteract NATO and U.S. aspirations in oil and natural gas rich territories along with U.S. declared plan at the Seoul summit to expand missile shield strategy in Asia and Middle East is yet another dimension to twenty first century global security challenge.
United States – the nuclear state with significant nuclear weapons in possession is non-signatory to NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty),
Notwithstanding history depicting U.S. – the only nation to have used nuclear arsenal – Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan.
Lately, in Iraq war U.S. and coalition partner United Kingdom dropped bombs containing depleted uranium with devastating generational impact on health and environment.
United States, United Kingdom and France have repeatedly asserted all options against Iran.
Regardless, they claim themselves responsible nuclear nations while condemning those deemed adversaries nuclear technology for medical isotopes in cancer treatment or,
Subscribing to western catered nuclear energy program – the precedence set by existing nuclear powers in the world utilizing nuclear energy as the pretext for nuclear weapons advancement.
Middle East – Israel’s nuclear status widely known but not acknowledged by the state and western allies in the absence of IAEA or UN inspection and verification.
Israel took enormous pride in the acquisition of Iron Dome – supposedly the marvel in intercepting missiles and experimented the effectiveness with extra-judicial execution of Palestinian leader Zuhair al-Qaisi, the Secretary General of the Popular Resistance Committees in the Gaza Strip late March 2012 expecting victims’ retaliation subsequent to casualties including civilians in total 24 killed from this mock attack.
In return the rockets hitting southern Israel from Gaza were reportedly intercepted in a timely manner by Iron Dome resulting in no loss of lives on Israeli side.
Israel exercise with Iron Dome at the expense of some innocent Palestinian lives apparently in preparation for unilateral strike against Iran and after ascertaining Iron Dome capability,
The jingoism for catastrophic action against Iran disregarding global ramifications is subversive and counterproductive.
Furthermore, Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and CIA have confirmed that Iran has no nuclear weapons and without any progress in enhancement.
The U.S. military high command and intelligence are stated to be in agreement with the status quo.
In light of these facts from Israel and United States intelligence sources, the fervor on warfare in the volatile Middle East amid U.S. troops lives at stake in all directions is an invitation to disaster.
International community deserves valid explanation for the unnecessary turmoil via sanctions against Iran with no evidence of nuclear upgrade and frivolous moratorium on Iranian oil exports hurting average citizens and businesses around the world.
The potent tools – trade embargo and military intervention against targets for global dominance is the existential terror endangering life and habitat.
Israel also condemned for using white phosphorous in densely populated areas during December 2008 bombing of Gaza. The findings in UN report by Justice Richard Goldstone were never honored by United States and Israel till date.
Contrarily United States warned nations importing Iranian crude oil with economic sanctions suggesting any violation would have serious repercussions and obtained ten European nations and Japan’s compliance to U.S. demand while others like India proportionately cut back oil imports from Iran and mulling over alternative sources and costs to meet with substantial domestic energy consumption.
The hierarchy among nuclear and non-nuclear states with distinction such as responsible vs. reckless raises credibility factor highlighting hypocrisy on those nations part responsible for arbitrary engagement in widespread nuclear material distribution to forge strategic alliance aimed at global showdown.
Nuclear security summit is a golden opportunity for unanimous consensus on unconditional nuclear disarmament by all nuclear states without exception and pledging in solidarity for immediate implementation of nuclear arsenal disposal not excluding fissile material in individual stockpiles stored under nuclear energy production.
Non-nuclear states reaffirmation as NPT signatories would be impetus for others to follow suit.
Independent international committee with nuclear experts, ethicists and legal professionals alongside IAEA could begin the process to establish central monitoring of nuclear sites for systematic and simultaneous surrender incorporating checks and balances to evaluate delivery efficiency.
Above all accountability to address obligatory failure irrespective of stature would serve common interest.
Nuclear power program camouflaged to accelerate nuclear ambition is the tradition best abandoned especially with viable alternatives like solar, wind, and hydroelectric energy available in abundance.
The schism in government mishandling of Fukushima nuclear melt down is exposure on non-disclosure – latest reports reveal deliberate act in withholding public safety information by deleting emails and other sources with a red flag on imminent humanitarian crisis.
In conclusion nuclear free zone is the only guaranteed security to humanity.
Wishing success to all nations activists in denuclearization of the world.
Perhaps Seoul Nuclear Security Summit 2012 could be the torchbearer of permanent peace eliminating nuclear weapons from the planet.
Peace to all!
Thank you.

http://youtu.be/4mA-9lL6F9ESyria – UNSC Non-binding Statement on Peace Proposal
March 22, 2012
By Padmini Arhant
The fifteen members United Nations Security Council unanimous vote on Syria is welcome in solidarity context but not substance wise.
UNSC non-binding statement proves the seriousness or the lack thereof against legally obligatory resolution adopting peace proposals to end bloodshed in the yearlong violence arguably lucrative to defense industry representing war aspiring nations.
According to the reports UNSC outlined UN and Arab league envoy former Secretary General Kofi Annan’s proposal.
– A cease-fire first by the Syrian government.
– Daily two-hour halt to fighting to evacuate the injured and provide humanitarian aid.
– Inclusive Syrian-led political talks to address the legitimate concerns of the Syrian people.
Whenever peace brokerage targets one party against another, the proposal fails to achieve common goal.
In demanding the government to cease-fire first rather than unconditional multilateral disarmament,
The conspicuous bias poses impediment in honoring the deal especially by the side i.e. Syrian government expected to bear more if not entire responsibility in the armed conflict triggered by western powers and their NATO as well as Arab league allies – Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar in particular.
Similarly, the second condition – daily two-hour halt in fighting nullifies ceasefire call generating a perception of indefinite confrontation desirable to peaceful resolution.
Third suggestion on inclusive political talks is viable provided sectarian factor is not induced from external powers specifically Saudi Arabia.
As for fierce fighting in Damascus suburbs and other parts of the country like Homs, Idlib, Hama and Daraa,
Notwithstanding twin suicide bombings in Damascus past weekend followed by a violent eruption in the relatively calm northern city Aleppo – the regime change agenda overwhelms the self-defense analogy to government crackdown.
In this regard, the Islamist group Al-Nusra quoted as a front for Al Qaeda reportedly claimed responsibility for the recent bombings in the capital and second largest city Aleppo.
The explosions were apparently aimed at air force intelligence building and criminal security department killing at least 27 people and several injured in the blast with warnings for repeat incidents in the near future.
Report details Al-Qaeda supporters as Sunni Muslim extremists behind earlier suicide attacks and vowed to continue in the offing.
Interestingly, the contentious issue being President Bashar Al-Assad including other political as well as military leaderships belonging to minority Alawite sect originated from Shiite Islam ruling the majority Sunnis not acceptable to those outside Syria viz. Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
The hostility attributed to Sunni significance undermined in the society and declared the main opposition in the anti-government uprising.
Even though the demography within society might not contest the status considering the secular framework and harmony that prevailed in Syria up until the situation exploited for foreign powers preferred motives applying the usual divide and conquer methodology disregarding the consequences endured by none other than the population they pretend to protect from disenfranchisement.
Poignantly the protest that began in March 2011 was not exclusive or sectarian oriented given the initial nationwide demonstration was non-violent and peaceful focused on political rights and democratic system over dynasty rule emanating from Arab Spring rejecting authoritarianism prevalent throughout the region.
Not even sparing Lebanese democracy constantly threatened by external oppression from Israel and/or U.S., France and Saudi Arabia organized coup d’état in 2010.
Besides the flip side in Bahrain with Shiite majority ruled by Sunni minority – the peaceful rally was crushed with U.S. authorized ad hoc Saudi invasion demolishing Pearl Square monument to erase the stains from proxy government massacre.
Bahraini kingdom maintaining close ties with Saudi dynasty and British Royalty regarded key strategic partner by U.S. and western allies epitomize the height of hypocrisy in the discriminatory decisions on humanitarian issues.
Despite U.N. estimates on Syrian casualties exceeding 8,000,
UNSC action limited to non-binding statement is indicative of members’ preference to escalate violence leading to civil war.
Otherwise UNSC commitment could have passed a credible and enforceable resolution enacting ceasefire on all sides with comprehensive peace agreement promoting democratic transition.
Saudi Arabia proposition to increase oil output in the wake of military options against Syria and Iran to ease economic burden on global society confirms the dynasty’s determination to eliminate Shiite presence let alone dominance in the region,
As major oil producer Saudi Arabia attention is also directed at economic advantage from incessant warfare with substantial fuel consumption required in the military operation.
Saudi disposition diametrically opposite to Islamic values and principles not to mention the religious sacrilege reflected in deeds with grave repercussions for the caretaker of Islam’s holy city Mecca.
United States – the presumed world Super Power is prodded around by two over ambitious allies in the Middle East – Saudi Arabia and Israel vying for regional ascendancy.
Saudi Arabia and Israel viewed Iraq’s former President Saddam Hussein – security threat and facilitated Iraq invasion through 9/11 attacks with hijackers profiles linked to Saudi Arabia of all the Islamic nations around the world.
Yet Afghanistan and not Saudi Arabia invaded and occupied till date.
The strategic vantage from Afghanistan in terms of proximity to oil and natural gas rich Central Asia along with permanent U.S and NATO base to monitor Russia and China is picture-perfect.
Saudi Arabia instigated U.S. intervention in Afghanistan against former Soviet Union and subsequently contributed to Soviet Union collapse with oil price and production manipulation depriving Soviet economic independence from oil resources in the territory.
Saudi Arabia preparation against Iran using same tactics with western powers imposed sanctions against the Islamic Republic is Pavlovian response.
Saudi Arabia intrusion in Bahrain, Yemen and now in Syria has resulted in immense loss of lives plus as purveyor of arms and ammunitions spread militancy preventing democracy in the region and disrupting democratic functionality in other Islamic nations.
Religious fanaticism funded by Saudi Arabia through controversial madrassas in Pakistan foments insurgency and lately pervasive in Central Asian Islamic countries emulating hard line governance to repress citizens in the state.
Saudi Arabia is also well known for iron fist rule with zero tolerance to peaceful and non-violent dissenters martyred for seeking democracy and constitutional reform in the domestic front.
Evidently Saudi Arabia monarchy with power distribution amongst family denying basic rights, prejudicial customs going back to medieval era is enslaved to feudalism thriving on profits from collective productivity allocated to selective class in the hierarchy leaving the rest in abject poverty and lifelong misery.
Israel and Saudi Arabia have many commonalities beginning with geographic location, religious sites, military aggression, subjugation of neighboring states, latest weapon stockpile holders and above all –
United States most favored partners in crimes and capitalist ventures.
Unfortunately, to the victims of two-dimensional Middle East supremacists – the architects of catastrophe in Saudi Arabia and Israel are dual hood serpentine endangering peace, sovereignty and life.
Meanwhile United States sophisticated technology and military might dispensed to serve Israel and Saudi Arabia’s interests at average Americans expense footing the bill on ideology driven extravagant warfare.
Finally, Syrian crisis is a litmus test for UNSC in defining the actual purpose and the burden of proof is upon the core members with political clout.
With Syrian peace prospects in prayers, Wishing success for smooth political and humanitarian relief to citizens in Syria.
Peace to all!
Thank you.

American Predicament – Israel an ally or adversary?
February 23, 2012
By Padmini Arhant
Back to the future – In 1968, American journalist, the late John Mitchell Henshaw compilation of Israeli aggression in the Sinai region with remarkable insight to consequences has been unfolding accordingly.
United States as the scapegoat evident in the attack against USS Liberty resulting in 34 U.S. Marines sacrifice with no apology or remorse has left a permanent scar in the relation between U.S. military top brass and ‘foreign’ policy architects controlling the White House and the U.S. State Department in particular until today.
The drumbeat for war and jingoism is definitely not in humanity or United States interest.
United States military – the institution with unparalleled technological know-how and operational strategy earnestly striving to abide by international conventions in the rescue mission whether in combat zone or civilian humanitarian aid has been usurped by forces outside of the military confines exerting authority over warfare implementation.
The subjugation of formidable armed forces military command to the will of overzealous ideologues not only erodes reputation but also undermines efficacy in national defense due to administration enforced loyalty towards Israel.
The events subsequent to 1967 Israeli invasion of Palestinian territories, Syria, Jordan and Egypt have contributed to Middle East perpetual volatility and fundamentalism conducive for ulterior motive – regional supremacy.
Utilizing United States military upfront or in the aftermath of Israeli strike against Iranian nuclear facility is extemporaneous not to mention the stakes for U.S. troops in Persian Gulf and universal impact on oil price.
Judging from history leading to contemporary situation in Middle East,
It is clear the polarized oil producing nations facilitate oppression and dominance to self-detriment.
Israel – supposedly the only democratic nation in the region successful prevention of democracy, political freedom and secularism viewed quintessential threat to predisposed ambition is the bedrock of violence and global terrorism.
U.S. military intervention in Afghanistan and involvement in Iraq under false pretexts exacerbated with lack of political commitment to investigate crimes against humanity confirms complicity and complacency to perpetration behind September 11 attacks once again expending innocent lives – both American and international serving explicit goals in the rise to power.
The distinction in response to crimes in the so-called democracy is intriguing with demand for justice fervor at peak when the accused represents mainstream population.
Juxtaposed anything to do with political establishment and privileged class – the Samaritan thoughts surface emphasizing the need to lay the matter to rest subverting the request for justice on loss of precious lives and war ramifications a vengeance.,
The double standards arguably contradictory to claim on society’s progress transcending social and economic identity despite the discriminatory practice setting precedence for the future.
United States awakening to reality would avert cataclysmic effects on human lives, economy and environment.
Armed forces recruitment is to defend national borders and republic from overt or covert conquest and not for deployment to suit specific agenda endangering service men and women lives in the archaic notion for imperialism.
Israel as the holocaust survivor reversing the trend in persecution and human rights violation would elevate the position in international stature currently diminished from the tradition continued since establishment of the State.
The article on Middle East turbulence in 1967 published in 1968 is encapsulation of ideology driven colonization exploiting the benefactor – United States military power in the end justifying the means.
United States politics swayed by intrusive postulates has relinquished reasoning power demonstrated in the willful submission of military and economic resources compromising national sovereignty in the non-reciprocal de facto partnership.
The fundamental facts in the publication is a gentle reminder to United States and Arab league presently engaged in destabilization of Syria to refrain from precipitating self-immolation.
The article provides cognitive account of Middle East scenario and United States predicament in the Zionists led flawed aspiration.
Ending chaos and destruction in Syria is paramount for any reform to be effective now and beyond.
Democratic powers have unique opportunity to exemplify values in renouncing military and economic warfare against nations perceived as easy targets in the regime change manifesto.
Peace and diplomacy are the only options for dispute settlements in the Middle East and world over.
Peace to all!
Thank you.

Israel’s Grand Design: Leaders Crave Area from Egypt to Iraq – By John Mitchell Henshaw.
Source:: http://www.mediamonitors.net/johnhenshaw1.html – Thank you.
From: Media Monitors Network
Nearly 34 years ago, an America-firster used The American Mercury magazine to warn of the danger posed by Zionism and its rule of Washington and the Mideast.
John Henshaw wrote this article shortly after Israel laid claim to the annexed land during 1967 Arab-Israeli war. This article first appeared in the spring of 1968,
The metamorphosis of tiny Israel from a midget to a giant is in the making.
Zionist expansionist doctrine is to seize all the oil-rich lands from the shores of the Euphrates to the banks of the Nile.
The scope of this ambitious scheme of territorial seizures and exploitation has been recognized by at least a few of our American military strategists for years.
This writer recalls that a dozen years ago an Army lieutenant colonel, who was a student at the War College, confined that some of his instructors believed –
The Zionist expansionist policy would provide the spark to ignite World War III.
(Incidentally, the then lieutenant colonel is now one of the top commanding generals in Vietnam.)
By guile, treachery and bloodletting, the Zionists plot to annex all of Jordan, virtually all of Syria, half of Iraq and a large part of Saudi Arabia and all of the rich cotton lands of the Nile Valley.
It would be a simpler matter then to grab Yemen, Aden, Muscat, Qatar and Oman with their rich oil development. Israel is already well advanced in the development of its first nuclear warhead.
Genocide in Six-day War
During the Six-Day War last summer, Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Dayan ordered Brig. Gen. Yesha’ahu Gavish, the Israeli commander of the Sinai campaign, to ruthlessly drive the hapless Egyptian troops into the Sinai Desert to die of thirst, hunger and heat.
Temperature on the arid Sinai rise to more than 100 degrees during the day.
For over two weeks thousands of wretched Egyptian stragglers wandered over the swirling wastes finally drop dead in their tracks.
U.S. reconnaissance planes flying on the perimeter of the Sinai Desert took hundreds of pictures of the stragglers and reported there were 50,000 Egyptians dead or dying on the desert at the time.
The U.S. Air Force loaded 60,000 gallons of water in five-gallon jerry-cans on pallets and prepared to drop them in the area where stragglers were observed.
However, Defense Secretary Robert McNamara ordered the projected mission of mercy halted after he received phone calls from White House foreign policy-planner Walt Rostow and UN Ambassador Arthur Goldberg.
This flagrant violation of the Geneva Convention on the treatment of prisoners of war amounted to genocide, designed to destroy a whole nation.
Newspaper reporters visiting the war zones in Syria and Jordan, reported that if one sniper in a village fired on Israeli troops, the whole village was destroyed including the women and children. Napalm is frequently used.
This systematic extermination is an ideological doctrine of Zionism.
The British have expressed the pious hope that their withdrawal would galvanize the Arab rulers into dropping their feuds and really unite in a mutual defense pact.
Like the tentacles of an octopus the Israeli armed forces struck out in all directions into Jordan, Syria and Egypt in Israel’s Six-Day aggression.
Last June. Even when encountering no resistance, the Israeli armored forces abruptly halted at predetermined strategic terrain points; they had accomplished their mission in the first phase of the Zionist Grand Design of imperialistic conquest.
It was time to stop and consolidate their gains rather than risk spreading their forces too thin.
Israeli leader Menachem Begin says:
“The return of even one bit of earth to the Arab would be a betrayal of the nation.”
Officially Israel is continuing the pretense of keeping the door open to negotiations that might result in return of the conquered territory, in exchange for Arab recognition of Israel and peace treaty.
Jordan’s King Hussein has reportedly already made a secret and desperate offer to Israel: In exchange for the return of the West Bank of the Jordan River, Hussein agreed to demilitarize it, negotiate border adjustments and even waive his insistence upon regaining the Old City of Jerusalem.
Israel rejected the offer. Israeli Minister of Labor Yigal Allon bluntly stated:
“The natural border of the country is the Jordan River – a border that would be established only if Israel kept the West Bank areas it took from Jordan.”
Gen. Aluf Ezer Weizmann, second highest-ranking officer in the Israeli army, is even more adamant:
“We shall stay where we are and bring in Jews. We now have the unusual opportunity to consolidate the state for the Jewish people and help prevent future wars.”
“If there is a fourth war,” Defense Minister Moshe Dayan gloats, “we are in a position to win more decisively than ever.”
And he warned that in the “fourth war” the great cities of Cairo, Damascus and Amman will be annihilated. This is in conformity with the genocidal plan.
The Zionists have invented the term “coercive noninterference” in explaining how they force the subjugated Arabs to cooperate with their conquerors.
When the mayor of Nablus announced that he would resign rather than front for the Jews, the Israeli military officers told him that no one would be appointed to replace him, which would result in utter chaos.
The mayor had second thoughts, stayed and obeyed the Jewish military commanders. Hundreds of similar examples could be cited.
Arabs Fear Genocide
“The Middle East today is dominated by raw, naked, savage, animal fear.
TheArab nations are driven by the fear of mass death, by the fear of Israel’s genocidal intentions toward them. Israel, by bringing in immigrants from all over the world, has upset the demographic balance of the Middle East.
“The first basic fact about populations is that they multiply.
They population of Israel is increasing, and the populations of the Arab nations are increasing.
In the conflict between populations, either Arabs or Jews must someday end up being driven into arid desert wastes which will not support them, where they will find relief only in the oblivion of death.
Israel means to kill the Arab populations and to occupy their lands.
The Arabs, driven by fear of death, react powerfully.
They seek the protection of a powerful nation, Russia, to which they will become tributary in return for protection…
“For the free world, this is a practically irretrievable disaster,” says Benjamin H. Freedman.
We might well rationalize all this as strictly none of our business except that hundred of millions of American foreign aid dollars are being spend for the enrichment of the international Zionist network extending from Tel Aviv to Paris, London and New York.
The Israelis are already pumping oil from Egyptian wells and splitting the profits with Rockefeller’s Standard Oil combine. This is only the prelude.
However, the spreading oil boom is intensifying the territorial ambitions of rival kingdoms, sultanates and sheikdoms. Iran is selling oil to Israel, another aggravating factor in Mideast tensions.
According to the Zionists’ schedule of operations, within a decade the Israeli empire be the master of the Middle East and take its place as a nuclear superpower on equal footing with the Soviet Union and the United States.
David Rockefeller’s Standard Oil Company will pay its royalties to the Israeli military usurpers instead of the Arab sheiks.
The sub-rosa partnership between Zionism and communism is still a fact.
As Israel drives the Arabs into the arms of the Kremlin, Israel expands, fulfilling a grand design and an aggressive plan agreed upon years ago.
And like the Arabs, Americans are helpless victims in this international crime.”

Middle East endowed with oil reserves is traditionally a magnum prize for energy dependent industrialized western economy.
The political instability continued through millennium is conducive for defense industry supplying arms to authoritarian regimes and opposition groups rising against the government.
Syria – The current violence specifically in Homs, Hama and earlier in Damascus spreading across the country having claimed many lives on all sides i.e. civilians, government security personnel and opposition is a matter of grave concern.
The peaceful protest transformation into armed conflict is no surprise considering Libyan precedence with foreign intervention and alleged Al Qaeda induction to the kafuffle.
UNSC resolution on No Fly zone in Libya misused by U.S. and NATO predominantly responsible for widespread destruction and casualties is unfolding in Syria without UNSC authorization.
The ammunition influx to rebels is creating disorder and confusion in delineating perpetrators from peaceful demonstrators and government forces in the crossfire.
It is a deliberate act on behalf of those determined to lead the state into civil war.
Furthermore, the genuine opposition i.e. Syrian society’s secular social democratic group willingness to commence peace talks with government is deterred due to persistent violence on the ground.
Arab league proposal for joint UN peace keeping force to monitor situation in Syria while Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE…in particular contributing to mayhem promoting individual as well as western powers agenda adds to the complexity.
The three major protagonists in Syrian political turmoil – Western powers, Arab league and Syrian government immediate ceasefire is imperative to initiate communication between civilian representatives viz. unarmed peace activists and incumbent administration.
Western intelligence infiltration via armed militia repeating Libyan scenario combined with Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE collusion is arguably a hindrance in peace mediation necessary to contain bloodshed.
The regime change fervor among western principals leading Arab league behind the scenes prevents peaceful transfer of power from the ruling party to viable opposition.
Foreign interference in Syria, Iran and throughout Middle East to accomplish specific objective – warfare for global dominance is self-endangerment with paradox transcending reason.
President Bashar Al Assad recent overture for constitutional reform ending one party rule and limiting governance terms is a positive step towards political change.
Simultaneously holding peace talks with civil society members would possibly dispel lingering mistrust and apprehension attributed to undemocratic measures and foreign instigation.
Syrian civilian population could pursue political goal by rejecting sources behind divisive policy aimed at regional destabilization.
Driving foreign elements from Syria is pertinent and importantly government sincere compliance to citizens’ call for secular democratic system would guarantee peace and political stability.
Unified Syria could avert threats from within and outside.
The leaderships in the government specifically President Bashar Al Assad, military and opposition factions alike are urged to prioritize protecting civilian from any harm and expedite peace negotiations to resolve the year old unrest.
Lebanon – In 2010, the democratically elected government was toppled with U.S. coup d’état at Israel’s behest weakening Hezbollah political status in Lebanese Parliament.
The political commotion caused economic downturn in the nation with impressive growth after Israeli bombings in 2006.
Iran – The main target for western ideology to establish ‘world order under global governance’ is currently in full swing with provocative economic sanctions such as oil embargo and freezing financial operations for potential global confrontation not barring nuclear exchange.
The western powers – Israel, United States, United Kingdom, France… and EU strategy against Iran is misguided with serious ramifications upon pre-emptive strikes or efforts to generate aggression from the region.
Iran in return adjusting to western economic constrictions adopting oil exports ban to six EU members with decision to implement after winter in consideration for the people is understandable and,
Perhaps extending the gesture beyond cold weather on humanitarian ground would highlight the distinction in international relations.
The latest incidents in India, Georgia, Thailand…against Israel is unfortunate and terrorism for any purpose is reprehensible.
Thorough investigation could lead to perpetrators behind these attacks especially those at the top taking undue advantage of recruits’ vulnerabilities to carry out bomb blasts affecting innocent lives in the pre-meditated plan.
Any terror plots on foreign soil mimicking 9/11 is a huge setback for democracy given the easy access for unscrupulous elements to uninhibitedly operate undermining national sovereignty of the chosen domain.
The U.S. fleet avant-garde in Persian Gulf stoking tension in the volatile region is cataclysmic for humanity at large and best abandoned to save lives than otherwise.
Besides the incursion is a tremendous financial liability for U.S. taxpayers and coalition struggling to survive the debt burdened economy.
Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili formal request to EU foreign Secretary Catherine Ashton for talks on contentious nuclear issue is a peaceful approach to defuse the brewing storm in Middle East.
However, EU rejection to hold meeting criticizing Iran’s offer as stall tactics is extemporaneous giving up the opportunity for diplomacy to prevail over military option.
United States, United Kingdom, France and EU could exemplify democratic values in dealing with Iran and entire Middle East without maintaining double standards in the choice between ally and adversary.
Iran as Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty member admittedly has responsibilities and cooperation thus far with IAEA and UN inspection is praiseworthy.
Nonetheless, transparency in the alleged nuclear activity in central Iran viz.Natanz would clarify doubts eliminating pretexts to launch missiles against the facility.
Iran’s proactive measures in clearing skepticisms on uranium enrichment would categorically elevate the position as a reliable non-nuclear state enhancing credibility through accountability.
Similarly western powers allowing international agency verification of Iran’s nuclear status apart from participation in meaningful dialogue with Iran would reduce undercurrents in the nuclear standoff.
Bahrain – The pro-democracy anniversary this week was once again marred with violent crackdown reminiscent of last year dispersion.
U.S. prodded Saudi troops were responsible for killing peaceful protesters defying international law on human rights binding every nation on earth.
The government functioning as a constitutional monarch – minority ruling the majority is western powers’ key ally and never in short supply of ammunitions to quell non-violent dissent.
Only this time around – the arms made in ‘Britain’ and the infamous London riot Scotland Yard ex-police chief expertise apparently guided brutality against civilians in the capital Manama.
Saudi Arabia direct authority over Bahrain and rest of Middle East is evident in the election of fundamentalists to power witnessed in Egypt and across the region.
Muslim Brotherhood alliance with Islamic conservative party under hardline military rule reins control over citizens yearning for secular democracy.
Likewise dismantling regimes in Syria and Iran – viewed the arch nemesis by Saudi Arabia and western powers,
The civilization landscape rich in religious and cultural diversity is morphed into homogenous demography subservient to feudalist dynastic rule.
Saudi Arabia – Western powers financier and military hardware buyer consuming bulk of modern weaponry from the west to suppress barely 28 million population with disproportionate gender ratio 54.3% male and 45.7% female per government statistics is also the caretaker of Islam’s holiest shrine in Mecca.
Not to mention the kingdom’s prominence for being the number one oil producer provides substantial clout attracting western leaderships with a symbolic bow – a greeting ritual in utmost respect for the liquid gold in Saudi dynasty’s possession.
Saudi Arabia rulers following Wahhabism favor Sunnis in the Arab world and across the globe.
The Royal family hostility and slight for Islam’s yet another devout sect – Shiite Muslims is the compounding factor in regional dominance.
Shiites reciprocation accordingly facilitates rift routinely exploited for imperialist ambition.
United Middle East would be a formidable challenge to invasion and occupation notwithstanding Palestinian statehood as part of two state solutions with Israel no longer a myth but a reality.
The acrimony among Muslims ignores the fundamental truth about Islam.
The religion’s unanimity is found in the fabrics common thread inter woven and admirably displayed during the holy month of Ramadan when Almighty God Allah worshippers aspiring Haaj in their lifetime congregate in the holy city Mecca.
Saudi Arabia leaderships have regrettably subverted Islamic faith in the oppression of citizens to prolong hierarchical society denying basic rights and political freedom.
Sadly, Iran in the proclamation as Islamic Republic espousing theocratic rule is no different from Saudi Arabia in human rights violation and depriving political independence.
Iran and Saudi Arabia respective religious disposition is contradictory to Islamic principles of peace and equality.
Religion is a path to spiritual enlightenment with a strong emphasis on universal love, respect and compassion for all beings as Supreme energy manifestation.
In defining life purpose, religion infuses deeper understanding of the self to identify with origin based on emergence, divergence and convergence.
Therefore, religion used as political tool to humanity’s detriment is sacrilege in the highest order.
Saudi Arabia and Iran could come together instead of against each other in preserving religious sanctity and contribute to human progress.
Kuwait – Western powers strategic partner with United States enlarged presence in the Gulf state is equally influenced by Saudi Arabia and Qatar…in prohibiting fairness in society.
The Gulf nation’s new government reportedly has no women cabinet members to run political affairs or legislators in the assembly.
Report also mentions the administration comprising Prime Minister Sheik Jaber Al Hamad Al Sabah and other cabinet appointees representing regality.
The fifty member parliament is stated to have hardline Islamists in the opposition.
Kuwait has been held socially progressive by western powers in their bid to defend the Arab kingdom against the comparatively secular Iraq.
Yemen – President Ali Abdullah Saleh in United States presumably undergoing medical treatment with political amnesty discussion on the sidelines upon revolution success is also an important western ally in addition to being a U.S. military aid recipient for the proxy war in Yemen.
The Arab state bordering Saudi Arabia in the north is confronted with popular uprising longer than Syria and,
Gulf Cooperation Council brokered so-called deal is not acceptable to citizens enduring severe economic problems irrespective of the country’s resources – oil and natural gas under western ownership.
Saudi Arabia intrusion in Yemen to clamp down peaceful rally against government has resulted in enormous loss of lives with no condemnation or response in semblance with Syria or Iran from western powers.
Iraq – The fall of Saddam Hussein was celebrated with much fanfare.
The glory faded away in the unveiling of Abu Ghraib and Iraq war veterans’ courageous accounts on atrocities committed in the name of global war on terror.
Iraq troop withdrawal redeployed in Persian Gulf and Afghanistan with private contractors, mercenaries and contingents still operating in the war torn nation is far from being sovereign even though Iraq election was declared the most democratic in Babylonian history.
The proof was in the dismissal of electoral mandate for secular government with U.S. choice leadership Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki appointed to serve vested interests.
Iraq grappling with suicide bombings and sectarian violence for nearly a decade is the classic example of western democratization of Islamic world.
Summarizing Middle East chronicles, western powers systematic removal of governments under regime change doctrine opportunistically isolate nations while successfully enslaving population with intelligence agency or militarily enforced autocracy.
Peace and Democracy measured in monetary terms expecting economic gains with violence as the means is anathema to liberty revealed in status quo.
Lesson from experience discarded is declining rationality with irreversible outcome.
Middle East peace and political fate is in the hands of people.
People power in solidarity pledged to peaceful and non-violent resistance against foreign indulgence with arms distribution is the preliminary stride and,
In the same way, government armed forces refuting authoritarian order for civilian safety and national security would be honorable and qualify as patriot act.
It is time for Middle East perpetual turbulence to turn into tranquility.
Leaderships from West and East awakening to dimensions without subscribing to violence or ulterior motives in humanitarian issues would deliver promising future for all.
Moving forward, global society peaceful interaction exercising patience and diligence would help resolve disputes amicably for greater good.
Twenty first century dedicated to peace would mark the golden age with prosperity for all.
Peace dawn on Middle East would permeate world over.
Peace to all!
Thank you.

Israel and U.S. War With Iran
January 31, 2012
By Padmini Arhant
United States latest plan improving bunker buster bombs effectiveness targeting Iran’s alleged nuclear facility is compliance with Israel’s pre-emptive strike preparedness to implement PNAC (Project for New American Century) agenda.
PNAC devised war with Iraq – A colossal setback squandering trillions of American taxpayer dollars and more than million lives lost including U.S. and coalition forces without Israel’s involvement in combat zone or logistic support is a harsh lesson in history.
Now eagerness to repeat same mistake against Iran is refusal to learn from previous experience especially by those hit with economic and human loss in waging wars on speculation.
News report stating Pentagon secret approach with Congress seeking additional funding $82 million for improvisation over and above $330 million already spent on 20 bombs production clearly invalidates democracy and,
Ignores public opinion calling for political attention towards deteriorating economy.
United States acute financial situation with skyrocketing debt and Congressional deadlocks on citizens’ matter as well as issues concerning national interest is once again misled by political aspirants drumbeat for war in the election year willfully obliging lobbyists like AIPAC (American Israeli Public Affairs Committee) demand to fulfill the ill-fated mission.
Since Project for New American Century is claimed as Zionist’s Magna Carta,
It is important to delineate Judaism from Zionism. Unlike Zionism, Judaism is neither sanctimonious nor inculcates violence.
The religion in accordance with natural creation respects life and believes in freedom for self and others.
Unfortunately, Israel since establishment has been conquered by overzealous ideology to rise to supremacy in denying others the right to exist or have liberty.
Action until present time in justification for past century holocaust – indeed the Dark Age in human evolution cannot be inflicted on any living being in retribution.
Israel’s misrepresentation has deprived Israeli citizens to live in peace and harmony due to contracted outlook combined with determination to stay on course regardless of endless suffering from oppression and aggression towards neighbors in the region.
Peace within permeates peace around.
Middle East control via powerful energy industry and United States funded AIPAC foreign policy is proved detrimental to regional stability.
Harbingers presenting truth and facts fear none in the conviction to save humanity from peril.
Threatening peacemakers is a futile effort and confirms wrongdoers false sense of security based on presumptuous fallacy.
Israel’s position to inform United States merely twelve hours prior to potential attack against Iran despite dire consequences is kamikaze attempt considering Iran’s retaliatory capability,
Not to mention the stakes for United States with troop deployment in Persian Gulf.
Iran’s nuclear intention hype is overstretched along with heightened measures indicative of western intelligence information gathering –
CIA and Mossad in particular accused in Iran’s nuclear scientists killings pose a legitimate question on reliability given the same intelligence failure to avert 9/11 attacks in the United States.
The western intelligence proactive response ahead of September 11, 2001 could have saved many innocent lives besides preventing Afghanistan and Iraq wars.
On the contrary, the techniques against Iran – eliminating academics for alleged engagement in nuclear development is provocation to incite reaction.
With U.N inspection on Iran’s nuclear program underway, the unnecessary intrusion undermines sovereignty.
Such indulgence witnessed in Pakistan including covert operation to split Baluchistan, Sindh…provinces anticipating political turmoil.
The argument that Iran is an existential threat to Israel also deserves careful review in reality and hypothesis context.
If Iran were to harm Israel with nuclear arsenal on the presumption that Israel admittedly declared a ‘Jewish State,’
Then around 35,000 Jews in Iran with a Jewish representative in Iranian Parliament might not continue to thrive and the Iranian Jewish community would not have declined Israel’s citizenship offer with monetary incentive.
However, Israel’s treatment of Palestinians as Israeli nationals came to light with Israel’s Supreme Court decision not allowing Palestinians in Israel – the common law access to bring nucleus family by marriage from West bank or Gaza.
The Palestinian population as Israeli citizens are forced to endure the state imposed family separation in the only ‘democratic’ nation in Middle East.
Apart from the apparent discriminatory practices, the Israeli Palestinian dispute is well known with controversial Jewish settlements stalling the peace process forever.
Another reason for brewing tension with Iran is cited as ‘regime change’ per PNAC dossier.
Iranian citizens plight in terms of political freedom is no different from Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia is also currently a dominant player in derailing Arab Spring initiated rise of democracy in Middle East to prolong repression in the national and regional domain.
While Saudi Arabia accepted as a close western ally, Iran projected the arch nemesis worthy of ‘obliteration’ among U.S. and Israel political circle.
The conspicuous western double standards in applying preferential status to authoritarianism functioning as monarchy and theocracy respectively exemplify divide and rule strategy.
Iran’s political dynamics was altered with western intervention in the overthrow of democratically elected popular government under Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh – the golden opportunity for widespread democracy in Middle East was thwarted through CIA operatives.
Sales pitch on war against Iran simulating Iraq scenario does not bode well for the architects with global dissent at peak and revolutions erupting in every part of the world rejecting governments’ misplaced priority i.e. unaffordable warfare neglecting dire economy.
The western dominance in Middle East is exerted through invasion, occupation provocation and subversion for economic and territorial conquest.
Ambitions to ignite the spark that would engulf the region are counterproductive.
Abandoning violence in pursuit of peace and diplomacy is the rational means to conflict resolutions.
Iran’s co-operation to U.N and IAEA inspection is praiseworthy.
Further transparency and accountability would defuse the lingering crisis.
Meanwhile, nuclear disarmament by all nuclear states beginning with United States, United Kingdom, France, Russia, China, India, Pakistan and Israel is the only assurance for secure future.
The ‘responsible’ nuclear state concept has resulted in nuclear proliferation rather than containment.
The hierarchy arguably leading to mistrust and apprehension in the era of violence promoted over peaceful negotiations.
Again lifting sanctions against Iran is paramount to alleviate economic and energy costs for average consumer worldwide.
Israel and United States patience with Iran amid U.N. inspection is necessary to demonstrate the democratic nations’ pledge to global peace and security.
Wishing peace and stability in Middle East and the world over.
Peace to all!
Thank you.

Iran – EU Sanctions and Oil Embargo
January 25, 2012
By Padmini Arhant
European Union compliance to Israel’s proposal on oil embargo against Iran is a huge economic misstep for everyone involved especially Europe tethering on Central Banks capital infusion in the austerity era triggering population uprising against governments’ misplaced priority and erroneous policies hurting the public.
Every action has equal and opposite reaction.
U.S. and EU amenability to Israel’s far-fetched aspirations in the Middle East and western powers ambitions beyond Iran is detrimental for global economy and security.
Although U.S and EU imposed crippling sanctions against Iran at Israel’s behest might appear to strangle Iran’s economy,
The net impact on oil dependent industrialized western economies would be devastating regardless of alternative arrangements to import oil from other producers –
The course is already contributing to crude oil price increase with ripple effects on the end consumer.
Notwithstanding the emerging economies – BRICS – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa along with other players in Asia, Latin America and Africa would be competing with western counterparts on oil imports when Iran removed from supply chain.
Developing economies are struggling to cope with widespread recession partly attributed to financial markets speculative practices particularly the U.S finance and energy sectors major role leading to the status quo.
Again emerging economies dilemma in containing inflation could be exacerbated with energy demand pushing prices up pervasively on consumer goods and services in the market place,
While the outlined repercussions are economy related, the political ramifications cannot be ignored.
Arab Spring in the Middle East is currently exploited for political advantage in the west.
The revolutions having sacrificed precious lives in the initially peaceful and non-violent protests turned into civil war utilizing ammunition stockpiles originally delivered by defense industries in the armed confrontation.
Saudi Arabia and Iraq – The Arab nations expected to produce Iran’s share of crude oil for distribution to western power and allies denying Iranian people survival means foment not only anti-western sentiments but also anti-Arab thoughts cultivating the culture of acrimony rather than harmony.
Saudi Arabia – the kingdom proudly hosting the holy pilgrimage to Mecca with the holy shrine of Prophet Mohammad (May Peace be upon him),
The authorities’ actions are contradictory to Islamic faith and values exemplified by the Prophet.
The moral guidance enunciated in Holy Quran is violated when an Islamic nation willfully cooperates in the economic and/or military warfare against another Islamic state since Islam condemns killings, oppression and persecution of any living being.
Besides the architects of war in the Middle East have Saudi Arabia – the next target in the regime change agenda.
Effectively, Saudi Arabia complicity in substituting Iran’s oil production and other means could be self-destructive.
Similarly Iraq – the victim of unjust war waged under false pretext is deja vous for the country still in turmoil following decimation from invasion.
United States appointed leadership Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is a strong ally of Iran maintaining close ties with Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and,
The relation between the two neighbors would be seriously tested in the critical hour ranging from oil output to strategic assistance against Iran.
Turkey – The NATO partner and intermediary suffered setbacks with western powers – recent France Vote against Turkey on Armenian issue and Flotilla incident with Israel in 2010.
Any other Islamic nation’s alliance in the economic and military aggression against Iran with citizens being the casualty might produce unrest within society considering the opposition to foreign intervention in Islamic countries across the globe.
In terms of formidable support to Iran – China and Russia partnerships on many issues including security threats are solid and expected to continue in the long run.
Persian Gulf incursion combined with economic restraints against Iran is also perceived as decelerating growth among the emerging economies to sustain global dominance.
Humanity progress is measured by collective prosperity and superiority aimed at eliminating nations or diminishing economic status could ultimately harm the source.
The world would benefit from peace and unity.
Perpetual conflicts destroy life and destiny of the present and future generation.
Political leaderships are granted power for a reason – to improve the lives of many and empower the powerless not otherwise.
The leadership[s are urged to resolve the dispute through peace and diplomacy.
Life is meaningful upon serving the purpose to kindle the spirit of oneness bound by universal love and compassion.
Peace to all!
Thank you.

State of the Union Address – 2012
January 24, 2012
By Padmini Arhant
Warm Greetings to honorable members representing the House and the Senate of the United States 113th Congress, esteemed judiciary members, distinguished United States Military High Command, fellow Americans and citizens around the world.
United States is confronted with multidimensional challenges in the domestic and international front.
The complexities demand resolutions from global perspective.
Beginning at home, the immediate priority is economic revival with job creation, promoting business opportunities to retain and generate employment across the economic sectors,
Restoring housing market,
Containing massive property liquidation depriving American families ownership and shelter,
Credit facilities to boost small and medium enterprise,
Review financial reform and health care legislations passed in 2010 and 2011 for necessary amendments to relieve the vast majority i.e. 99% from mandatory insurance,
Health care industry cost adjustments for affordability,
Retaining Medicare as well as Medicaid for the demography dependent on these programs as life support.
Banking industry audit analyzing financial reform impact with necessary regulations to eliminate hedge fund anomalies.
Educational funding from K-12 to college degree programs preparing fresh graduates for twenty first century competitiveness and innovation.
Incentives to businesses and corporations upon guaranteed job growth in the manufacturing and service sector to stimulate economy.
Tax reform closing tax evasion loopholes, recovering unaccounted funds to a tune of $2.3trillion from Pentagon budget not barring financial assets in Swiss bank and other overseas accounts,
Tax hikes on 1% wealthiest to alleviate the burden on the remaining taxpayers being the core consumer base.
The economic outlook is also dependent on global economy especially the euro zone and emerging economies amid looming war against Iran.
Politically, with Presidential elections around the corner, there is an urgent requirement for constitutional amendments to reverse the Citizens United outcome protecting democracy from special interests proprietorship.
Electoral reform to justify free and fair elections considering the overwhelming monetary influences via corporate executive donations and other means to buy elections compromise republic rights in a democracy.
National debt and deficit – The heated debate often wind up with no action as witnessed in the Super Committee appointed to address the burgeoning debt crisis.
As stated earlier, spending cuts alone in the absence of revenue would not address the contentious problem. Tax hikes and diverse income source in the equation is the logical approach to debt reduction.
Again, deficit mitigation would be futile in the prevalent determination to expand military commitments – waging wars on borrowed funds and printing money leading the economy to banana republic.
Pentagon budget contraction is no longer an option but a necessity to spare American citizens from generational indebtedness,
Warfare and Military Base – Troops redeployment from Iraq to Persian Gulf for provocative aggression against Iran is counterproductive in all aspects especially the economic liability on American taxpayers and U.S credit rating at stake with the alarming debt from the protracted military engagements.
United States foreign policy premised on illegal invasion, occupation and provocation is best abandoned with a paradigm shift in the establishment of peace and democracy throughout the world.
The strategy is evidently ineffective and unpopular not to mention the toll on life, economy and environment.
Nuclear and Conventional arms disarmament is prudent for global security.
Environmentally, the climate talks interpreted in action would expedite the universal goal on global warming i.e. the sustainable temperature at 1.5°C or 350 ppm.
World peace, progress and prosperity are dependent on political will and leaderships desire in resolving conflicts through meaningful dialogue and peaceful negotiations.
Peace to all!
Thank you.
