Paraguay – Coup d’état against Democratically Elected President Fernando Lugo

July 14, 2012

By Padmini Arhant

The democratically elected government under President Fernando Lugo in Paraguay – the South American nation successfully targeted with coup-d’état evidently devised abroad following the western tradition in Latin America.

President Lugo’s policy on wealth redistribution among the poor and disadvantaged along with indigenous majority rights revival apparently found contradictory to western agenda.

The problem appears to have emerged from U.S. biotech agro behemoth Monsanto facilitating pro-U. S.Political opposition Colorado Party resurgence.

According to regional report by Adrian Salbuchi for RT – Thank you.

“Paraguay Agriculture Minister Enzo Cardoso illegal approval of Monsanto cotton seed Bollgard BT containing toxic Bacillus Thurigensis gene known to be dangerous with serious environmental and health hazards,

Besides destroying other cash crops in the ingredient purpose to contain cotton disease triggered the clash between local district police and farming community resulting in 17 casualties – 6 police officers and 11 farmers among the dead.”

The farmers and environmentalists protest against potentially harmful agricultural products from Monsanto for mass plantation is not unique to Paraguay considering the corporation trajectory worldwide acknowledged contentious to farmers and food chain supply.

Former President Lugo administration rejection of Monsanto maneuver effortlessly replaced with leadership Federico Franco – the ex-vice president of pro-U.S. Colorado Party reported as electorally ousted from office after over three decades in power by President Fernando Lugo political alliance for change in 2008.

The political group reinstatement ignoring electorate dissent claiming bloodless transformation via Parliamentary vote in removing legitimate Lugo Presidency is nothing new to Latin America.

Any leadership in defiance of globalists’ detrimental practices largely viewed as adversary with preparation to derail government.

Profiteering at population peril is oligarchical strategy and civilian resistance often dealt with political destabilization aimed at representatives against corporate infiltration endangering society.

The contemporary trend – corporate monopoly of foreign national resources and the governments’ non-cooperation regarded justification for western overt or covert intervention subverting genuine political process to secure economic and strategic gains signifies existential infringement upon sovereignty.

South American nations perception on U.S. assisted Paraguay coup as geodynamic position to deter BRIC partner Brazil influence and access to Brazilian oil reserves off Atlantic coast despite NATO presence is well founded and reflects reality.

The muted response from U.S., EU and England on Paraguay government topple juxtaposed uproar against Syria once again clarifies western double standards and lack of credibility on international affairs perhaps due to personal involvement in respective mayhem.

The complicity among forces within and afar Paraguay attributed to reasons benefitting them not the people nor the nation at large in the dismissal of President Fernando Armindo Lugo Mendez as the head of the state.

The western backed interim President Federico Franco explanation for Lugo government ouster citing tragic deaths from police and farmers confrontation and promotion of police personnel subsequent to the incident could have been investigated pursuing democratic course rather than holding then Lugo leadership responsible for the event.

Moreover, reports per eye witness accounts and Paraguayan political history suggestive of the fact – the officers in Special Operations Group accused of discretionary excess force in the eviction of farmers occupying public land were trained in Colombia – U.S. ally as counterinsurgency unit authorized by former President Alvaro Uribe – a pro-U.S. paramilitary government.

Not to mention the local Attorney General office reported to be USAID (United States Agency for International Development) recipient contributing to the status quo.

The usual western intelligence groups and Washington based organizations specializing in Latin American coup viz. Honduras in 2009 and failed attempt in Ecuador in 2010 continue operation to overthrow governments not in agreement with globalists demand for subjugation.

The liberal Agricultural and Livestock Minister Enzo Cardoso as Monsanto agent and USAID beneficiaries together with members in Parliament participating in foreign sources instigated coup d’état effectively committed treason for vested interests unlike,

Impeachments imperative against leaderships commissioning troops for illegal warfare on other nation’s behalf or war crimes under humanitarian pretext, embezzlements and syphoning national treasury…distinctively isolating one from another regardless of misleading innuendo.

Arguably in light of the Latin American nations experience and western quest for global dominance,

President Fernando Lugo expulsion is undemocratic and unconstitutional in semblance with Honduras, Ecuador and many in the past subjecting people to brutal military regimes and dictatorships of western powers choice across the globe.

Paraguay en masse especially President Lugo political base and loyalists could reverse outcome through peaceful and non-violent referendum voiding transitional government appointment with necessary constitutional amendments barring legislative, executive and judiciary actions undermining national independence accompanied by rigorous public accountability setting future precedence.

Ecuadorians resilience thwarted disaster exemplifying people power formidability against persistent offshore challenges constantly threatening political stability and regional security in Latin America.

In this context Paraguayans and nations confronted with similar dilemma emulating solidarity to protect territorial integrity against perpetrators crucial delivering strong message to violators to abandon polarization tactics for geopolitical or military prospect.

South American neighbors unanimous condemnation on Paraguay political collusion compromising national interest is a step in the right direction further strengthening capability to defeat unsavory intrusion.

Paraguay citizens are encouraged to come forward and rally behind President Fernando Lugo and rescue the nation from unnecessary turmoil on the horizon.

President Lugo governance dedicated towards improving lives across the spectrum and patriotism demonstrated in the face of hostile takeover avoiding bloodshed,

Nonetheless determination to proceed with democratic and non-violent means deserves recognition – granting opportunity to resume service as legitimate caretaker of the people in Paraguay.

With confidence in people power and Paraguay society to restore freedom, equality and progress for all verifiably carried out under President Fernando Lugo leadership,

Wishing victory to Paraguay republic led by committed and reliable governance under President Fernando Lugo declining overseas orchestrated usurpation.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

United States – HCR – 107 Congressional Proceeding against Illegal Warfare

July 8, 2012

By Padmini Arhant

Nations built army primarily for two reasons – safeguarding borders and protecting citizens from potential attacks apart from deployment during emergency relief efforts to save lives and involve in peace mission without artillery.

The honorable and courageous service requires personal sacrifice, discipline and discernment at critical hour to engage diligently mindful of serious ramifications often irreversible due to fatality on all sides with civilians being the most vulnerable.

However, in the contemporary era wars are waged exclusively for economic reasons and territorial conquest with troops not necessarily serving the nation nor nationals they pledged to defend instead laying their precious lives in compliance to foreign diktat.

The greed driven strategy focused on individual gains at vast majority peril has no boundary with wars fought without borders unheeding constitutional law, congressional dissent and international rule such as Geneva Convention not excluding military code during combat and POW or prevalently so-called terror suspects treatment while in custody.

Besides, extemporaneous foreign policy invariably leading to military interventions again at external powers behest in the absence of comprehensive structure viz. exit plan, economic costs and above all transparency and accountability with executive branch exercising excess authority from top to bottom.

It is noteworthy that executive branch in the latest configuration beginning with office of Presidency, Secretary of State, Defense Secretary, Director of Intelligence Services CIA, FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation). Homeland Security, NSA (National Security Advisers) and last but not the least Justice Department are granted impunity despite,

Hard core evidences suggestive of abuse of power notwithstanding treason against nation they are either elected or appointed to serve with honesty and integrity.

Accordingly in precluding consequences congressional investigations rendered redundant and a mere formality.

As a result public opinion and legislative authorization no longer considered relevant in decision-making process concerning national interest for they are predominantly directed and influenced by shadow governance like Council on Foreign Relations and Trilateral Commission among key organizations and institutions in control of national as well as international affairs entirely benefitting them.

Major General Smedley Butler – decorated war veteran and author of ‘War is a Racket’ detailed the reality on profiteering from war disregarding losses in death and destruction lasting over generations,

Perpetuated in modern warfare with innovative technology such as drones, short and long range missiles supposedly facilitating remote operations eliminating necessity for troops on the ground alongside discounting disproportionate civilian casualty endured by victims’ families thus far.

The arbitrary shelling fomenting terror recruitments in retaliation is also affecting troop morale demonstrated in regrettable conduct in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

War is not only accompanied by loss of lives but also premised on distortion and deception given the executive privilege and unilateralism in vogue defying constitutional requirement for congressional approval in the declaration of war against sovereign nations in Middle East or anywhere in the world.

Corporate media and news organization both local and foreign used as propaganda tools are equally culpable in misleading people and nation at large.

Congressional action against reckless, irresponsible and biased broadcast and journalism advocating military interference favoring elite groups would deter erroneous consensus among elected officials and electorate on crucial national matter.

In pursuit of ill-fated agenda risking young servicemen and women in harms way along with skyrocketing national debt passed on to American taxpayers denied many essential programs at home,

Funding other nations illicit wars via provocation and subjugation are against United States democratic values and constitutional framework.

The existing unnecessary tension with Iran and Syria posing no threat to United States or citizens yet U.S. incursions in the Persian Gulf,

Economic sanctions on Iran and,

Weapons supply to militias in Syria replicating Libya ignoring implications on the respective population is counterproductive and contradictory to human rights demand placed upon them.

Iran cooperation with international body and adherence to IAEA plus UN mandate deserves recognition allowing peace and diplomacy to produce desirable outcome.

Similarly, Syrian leadership consistent measures in political reform with constitutional amendment and multiparty elections held most recently envisaging more on the way amid defending besieged nation aided by U.S. and allies ammunitions are significant and violence escalation attributed to western and Arab allies hired mercenaries to disrupt peace prospects in the war torn nation.

Not to mention Geneva Agreement enforcing disarmament declined by western allies backed Syrian rebels echoing U.S. Secretary of State insistence on regime change and destabilization.

Syrian mainstream and real opposition reject overseas meddling and denounce western aggression exacerbating ordinary citizens safety and plight.

Ceasefire prevented at all costs with controversial rhetoric and flagrant stance adopted at ad hoc meeting called ‘Friends of Syria’ in Paris headed by U.S. Secretary of State on Syria.

Washington arms assistance promoting Saudi invasion in Bahraini crackdown and likewise disrupting Arab Spring in Yemen, Egypt and Libya reflect memory lapse in U.S. Secretary of State criticism of nations on Syria epitomizing double standards that jeopardize United States credibility as a trustworthy partner in peace treaty.

U.S. administrations regardless of political party affiliations indulgence in wars based on doctrines detrimental to American and global future set precedence for successors with each legacy devoid of moral and ethics declining qualitatively invalidate republic status with self-righteous ideology.

Investigations into 9/11 terrorism imperative with army, intelligence and government synchronized defunct otherwise averted catastrophe that went beyond domestic turbulence over to offshore multilateral expansion enabling belligerence dominant role discarding peace and constructive dialogue in dispute settlements.

War crimes related to 9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen by previous Bush-Cheney administration and,

The incumbent power under Obama-Clinton for Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Libya, Egypt, Bahrain and Syria that are publicly known with numerous allegations on activities conducted incognito in secret prisons through renditions and extra judicial executions having become executive prerogative subverting democracy,

Unless terminated with charges and appropriate sentencing barring exceptions dangerously legitimize power misuse removing congress from political system.

The bill to stop illegal warfare – House of Congress Resolution 107 sponsored by U.S. House of Representative – Hon. Congressman Walter Jones (R-NC) is a fundamental step towards restoring American democracy and national image.

Congressman Walter Jones apparently approached former President George W. Bush seeking explanations behind Iraq war and subsequently reported to have introduced –

Constitutional War Powers Resolution in 2007 co-sponsored by Rep. William Delahunt (D-MA) – prohibiting the president from ordering military action without congressional approval, except when the United States or U.S. troops were attacked or when U.S. citizens needed to be evacuated.

Congressman Ron Paul, Rep. Dennis Kucinich and many members of Congress stated to have come forward to co-sponsor HCR – 107.

The important bill to curb wars at citizens and troops expense through vigorous campaigning on Internet and other medium would expedite legislation.

The legislation also empowers Congress to proceed with impeachment upon violation of the Act.

Then remaining lawmakers obligatory to fulfill constitutional oath to work for the people and country unlike the reverse trend.

Abstinence or failure to do so would delineate legislators in their allegiance to political party and globalists wielding power overriding constituents will.

This act is monumental in upholding constitution and congressional ruling correlating main street position in military options dealing with citizens’ life and death in the national and international domain.

With appreciation for patriotism – Rep. Hon. Walter Jones and colleagues initiatives to change course from devastating military adventures by executive authority in the past and present time,

Urging United States citizens to participate in HCR 107 legislation for a new chapter in congressional history restoring republic power.

Please call Tel.# (202) 224-3121 at Capitol Hill Main Switch to reach your Congressional Representative.

Wishing success to peaceful and political resolutions – HCR 107 in curtailing global confrontation.

Please review the brief HCR 107 text and have your representatives cast their vote to conclude incessant wars across the globe for divestments in national economy.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Libya – Untimely Elections and Undesirable Outcome

July 6, 2012

By Padmini Arhant,

North African nation Libya is scheduled for first elections post Colonel Muammar Gaddafi era on July 7, 2012.

Libyan experience has cost many precious lives and led the country into turmoil with massive artillery entry that appears to have been pre-arranged for the burgeoning conflict.

NATO bombing following exchange between armed rebel factions and state authority together claimed many casualties estimated at 30,000 or more in the official figure and,

NATO intervention aftermath apparently producing more death and destruction facilitated by ammunitions in militia possession.

National Transitional Council headed by western powers nominee Libyan American Premier Abdel Rahim al-Keib elected with majority NTC votes reportedly arrived after 32 years away from the country to assume office.

Elections held amid chaos and mayhem synonymous to Egypt and Yemen deprives electorate a fair understanding of political manifestoes and candidacies representing various platforms or the lack thereof especially with Libyans heading to the polls after more than four decades of the predecessor rule.

With Yemen, the Vice President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Al-Habdi of the regime under former President Ali Abdullah Saleh – U.S. ally was the only candidate in the so-called national election hailed by key western players as transition to democracy.

In Egypt, the elections during fierce crackdown by U.S. aided SCAF (Supreme Council of the Armed Forces) inhibiting secular moderates participation considering immense bloodshed from all walks of life since revolution for political freedom resulted in fundamentalism victory with military remaining the ultimate power.

The trepidation amongst Egypt mainstream and minority understandably related to status quo with U.S. educated and sponsored President Mohammed Morsi administration expected to deliver at the domestic and regional front.

Libyan society being unique with tribal and diverse sects co-existence now threatened by foreign infiltration for control over national resources through potential partitioning in order to gain easier access and monopolization.

Justice and Constructions Party introduced in Libya supposedly Egypt Muslim Brotherhood political wing campaigning under National Alliances Party regarded the main contender against token contestants in the political race reflects limited public awareness combined with unfamiliarity on candidates’ stance and preparedness to tackle daunting tasks ahead.

Libya is confronted with serious security and political instability crisis demanding priority in eliminating foreign intrusions in every aspect from launching proxy governments to weapons supply for vested interests.

Citizens in Libya have the opportunity to come forward in unity adopting only peaceful non-violent methods to drive the elements proved disastrous for the nation and form the state of the masses with direct involvement constituting Libyan participatory governance.

The process will be elaborated in a separate presentation.

Any election engineered by external sources directed at demarcations evidently leads to sectarianism and perpetual confrontation within society hindering progress viz.Iraq, Afghanistan and recent destabilization maneuvers in Pakistan.

Libyan people betrayed in the last year magnified civil war primarily with media propaganda and military strategy such as –

The mercenaries imported into Libyan provinces and subsequently escalating violence via heavy disproportionate NATO bombardment under humanitarian pretext exacerbated human toll and infrastructure demolition.

Hence, Libyans are urged to end internal fighting preventing outbreak of clashes that would only embolden hegemonic establishment via heads of the state appointments exclusively serving the imperialistic quest.

People in Libya need not be compelled into situation with undesirable outcome witnessed in Egypt, Yemen or any other Islamic nation.

The democratic function embedded with choices would enable electorate discretion for reconstruction of embattled nation and society proceeding on the path of solidarity, pluralistic concept that guarantees individual rights and political freedom to all while retaining national sovereignty.

Wishing Libyan citizens liberty from subjugation and unsavory influences with commitment to protect territorial integrity and national endowments meant for the republic barring reservations to the privileged inside and outside the domain.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

United States – July 4 – Commemorating Independence and National Sovereignty

July 4, 2012

By Padmini Arhant

On this day, July 4, 2012 United States commemorates independence from foreign control reminiscing freedom – the inalienable human right for expression and peaceful assembly among diverse choices available to individuals in any free and fair political system.

Regrettably, the contemporary era marred with U.S. and allies invasion, occupation and violation of other nations sovereignty for global dominance with expendable U.S. forces and taxpayers funds reversing the trend to imperialism.

United States current laws such as Patriot Act, NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) denying due process in civil court rather than military tribunal and government unlimited access to citizens’ personal communication via unwarranted wire tapping including 24/7 surveillance,

Additionally, the invasive security measures at the airports not even sparing infants – some of them physically challenged although clearly visible are subjected to extreme procedures clarifying the military operation in the so-called war on terror either a failure or attributed to flawed foreign policy and military strategy facilitating terror networks to benefit defense industry and hegemony.

On the domestic front, occupy movement and other protests are contained with excess force and undemocratic means contradictory to constitutional rights that guarantees citizens liberty to dissent in a tolerant society.

United States permanent military bases around the world and simultaneous wars in different nations not barring latest actions undermining international agreements pose grave threats to peace and political stability in the volatile region like Middle East.

Americans by and large favor peace and diplomatic solutions to international disputes unlike prevalent political decisions not in synchrony with public opinion.

The military intervention against sovereign nations hinders prospects for constructive dialogue and meaningful negotiations in republic and national interest.

On this important day, troops in active duty including their families and veterans deserve due recognition for the pledge to protect citizens and sovereignty.

Wars are fought for reasons excepting national defense evident in the conflicts aimed at usurping power on false pretext to seize economic resources or strategic advantage overseas contributing to immense suffering all around.

Besides political leaderships committing treason against nation and people they are obligatory to serve with honesty and integrity.

Certainly, the present time is tumultuous seeking military options at ease ignoring devastating consequences affecting humanity and habitat that could otherwise be averted with prudence and patience.

War has become the mechanism to deal with disagreements for militarily powerful nation and allies refusing to heed consistent recommendations on non-violent approach to resolve crisis.

Life is precious not to be wasted in confrontation that could end in reconciliation beginning with talks and rational exchange.

Political freedom is imperative for a nation to sustain progress in every dimension.

Power exercised to empower society across the spectrum with equal respect and consideration for all in providing dignified life would enrich national status.

United States focus on national issues with divestments from warfare to economy, infrastructure and myriad programs in requirement for funds would expedite growth and alleviate vast majority plight.

Above all, restoring democratic values and social justice in shutting down the infamous Guantanamo Bay and abandoning practices that are condemned by United States in the international domain would deliver credibility and national image truly living up to the concept –

Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.

All are born to be free and freedom is worth celebrating upon universal experience.

Happy July 4, 2012.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Libya – Invasion for Regime Change

July 2, 2012

By Padmini Arhant

The North African nation grossly violated under extreme media hype in the United States and abroad including online reporting among leading news organizations and networks as well as U.S. State Department stating people in Libya were attacked on the ground accompanied by aerial bombings in eastern city Benghazi and north western Misrata by predecessor Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.

The mainstream touted as ‘the most trusted news network’ and catchphrase such as “keeping them honest” aided by visual footages labeled ‘live’ relentlessly aired citizens call for intervention analogous to repeat production on Syria only to be discovered as choreographed events with the latter in the effort to advance pre-medidated regime change strategy.

Similar tactics have been used in the past and twice against Iraq – in 1990 using the daughter of Kuwaiti Ambassador to United States as the victim to convince congress and later in 2003 – the exaggerated claim was Iraq directly responsible for 9/11 and posed nuclear threat to the United States – allegations proved to be false.

Above all, the pretext to wage war against Afghanistan unfolded with facts, experts testimony and several eye witness accounts on the myths surrounding methodical and sophisticated terror assault on American soil that catapulted invasion, occupation and drone strikes against Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, lately Libya and Syria meticulously following the Charter – Project for New American Century / PNAC.

All these revelations came to light more recently than before with necessity for scrutiny given the political power and media collusion to promote military pursuit.

Moreover, transparency and accountability regarded inconvenient in the contemporary era with political powers spending tax payer funds in intercepting and doctoring you tube videos to discredit courageous presenters besides shielding information vital for public knowledge under classified banner.

Evidently, truth is always the first casualty in war.

Nevertheless, in Libya consistent requests and pleas for non-violent and peaceful actions were deliberately ignored by arming rebels intensifying situation leading to confrontation between the state and militias weaponized by western and Arab league to achieve the long desired goal – fragmentation of society.

Again recommendations on rebel forces disarmament to initiate dialogue with state authority rejected subverting ground reality through national and international media propaganda creating the urgency for UNSC resolution to intervene in Libya.

Not surprisingly the scenario reenacted in Syria – Déjà vu in this regard.

The UNSC mandate was also abused escalating NATO shelling and transforming the conflict into brutal attack targeting civilians despite several warnings from them indicating their identity with white flags that contributed to a staggering death toll approximately 30,000 or more in the official data.

There was a press release on Colonel Muammar Gaddafi having sought exile in Venezuela citing British foreign secretary William Hague disclosure.

Subsequently the air raids began misusing UNSC approval pursuing Libyan leadership and family rather than providing humanitarian relief to citizens caught in crossfire.

Not to mention the U.S. executive power slight for congressional and human rights activists’ dissent on Libyan bombardment.

Libya like Iraq decimated with western choice governance in place – National Transitional Council headed by Mustafa Abdel Jalil from former government and,

Interestingly, NTC overwhelmingly elected western nominee as Libya’s New Premier – Abdurrahim-el-Keib – Libyan American academic and reportedly liaised for number of energy companies returned to Libya after 32 years away from the country to assume office.

Apparently the Prime Minister elected within National Transitional Council was selected by western powers and oligarchy during toppling process to coordinate with NTC from overseas.

The reports in this context are emerging in conjunction to evolving political conditions in Libya upon extensive research not easily available to international community.

These developments along with U.S.State department admissions on Libyan operation under the guise of humanitarian relief vehemently suggestive of ill-conceived agenda devised well ahead of time to gain access to Libyan oil resource.

Unfortunately, the media and print press not barring Internet materials extensively projected alleged state atrocities to advance military aggression.

In a rare acknowledgment, BBC reported to have accepted anomalies with a statement –

“BBC journalists got carried away on Libyan revolution” – reflecting objectivity and rationality no longer upheld in the modern journalistic standard compromising human lives and millions future.

With the exception of ethical investigative journalism challenged at every opportunity not excluding death threats, assassination attempts and harassment in daily life,

The precedence is eager to appease establishments and elites in the fierce competition to secure top rating and commercial advantage.

From search engines to news outlets synonymous information about Libyan revolution enduring alleged state inflicted violence was the major topic of discussion especially Libyan chaos erupting in succession to Tunisia and Egypt with victims plight genuine over there considering the respective governments use of force as strong western allies and accordingly defended until the end.

Another complexity surfacing from Arab Spring exploitation in the Middle East is western backing of fundamentalism to power via Muslim Brotherhood.

The western ideology in the Middle East is population control denying democracy and meaningful progress to assert authoritarianism via proxy leadership earlier in the form of dictatorships and now Islamists groups dangerously rising to power through covert western support.

It is noteworthy these Islamists groups principles or in the extreme example Taliibanization in Afghanistan are conflicting to the religion of Islam that represents peace, women’ rights and freedom for all.

Sadly, religion is maneuvered and used as political tool for human greed and monopolization.

Across Middle East – wherever western belligerence occurred whether Iraq or Libya – the national status in terms of public education including universities for women, health, housing and essential goods and services were all available and far superior than western status quo.

Post western demolition in these countries – the illiteracy rate in Iraq supposedly 40% among children unable to attend schools due to perpetual warfare and likewise Libya having maintained highest standards in all these areas compared with nations in North Africa and Middle East set to decline under western management.

Muslim Brotherhood elected to office in Egypt as the voice of revolution even though they were nowhere near the struggle when ordinary citizens across the spectrum sacrificed their lives to overthrow western ally and autocracy from rule.

Saudi Arabia cozying up to Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt with magnanimous contribution of $1 billion funded by Islamic Development Bank (IDB) purportedly for food distribution and education also aimed at Saudi style governance – deprivation of human rights and social equality.

The virus interjected into Libya – the secular and moderate Libyan society on the verge of regression with Justice and Construction party – recognized as Muslim Brotherhood political wing boosted by western powers in the upcoming elections in Libya.

Syria infiltrated with CIA and Turkey facilitated Egypt Muslim Brotherhood factions demanding majority representation in Syrian Parliament at Turkish government behest – antithetical to Turkey hailed only democratic Islamic state in the region.

Summarizing the western influenced and directed political fiascos in Middle East replicated elsewhere – the lack of proper understanding and respect for uniqueness in culture, civilizations, traditions and values in different parts of the world and Middle East in particular among architects of western policy and think tanks behind selective regime change predominantly attributed to current mayhem and destruction.

The western involvement categorically reveals economic and strategic interests usurping to power through military might paving way for radicalism combating the source benefiting the defense, energy and finance industry and the remaining fantasizing global dominance.

Any objectives to undermine liberty, economic prosperity and social justice in Middle East and world over by enforcing paradoxical paradigms doomed for failure.

Middle East peace and political reforms enabled by people within society holding talks and negotiations with political leaderships adopting non-violent methods in the absence of western intrusions would expedite real change and democracy characteristic to demographic modality and political landscape.

On the optimistic note, wishing success to people power in realizing political aspirations to en masse satisfaction across the globe.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Syria – Geneva Agreement in ending Syrian Conflict

June 30, 2012

By Padmini Arhant

International conference held today in Geneva, Switzerland reportedly reached an agreement in ending sixteen months old Syrian confrontation.

The meeting attended by UNSC permanent members and some representatives barring Syria and Iran against UN charter prescribing inclusiveness claim to have arrived at unanimity on key issues beginning with non-militarization of the conflict.

Besides providing directives for new political process with emphasis on implementing democratic reforms including minority rights in the society.

First and foremost, the work group participation to resolve Syrian crisis is praiseworthy for concerns unless shared among members although relevantly nations confronted with incursions and sanctions threat viz. Syria and Iran respectively,

The situation could deteriorate and in warfare taking toll on precious lives on all sides with irreversible damage.

Next, the Syrian government predicament deserves recognition given the turmoil exacerbated with external powers infiltration all around especially the funding and arming of terrorists and,

The latest development in troops mobilization along northern, western and southeastern borders by western powers allies Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and perhaps Jordan.

To deescalate widespread violence in Syria contributed by western powers and Arab allies sponsoring militias and mercenaries with sophisticated weapons supply,

The Geneva accord non-militarization and weaponization must take effect immediately with troops withdrawal and complete termination of arms dealing as well as alliances attributed to massacres in towns and villages across the state.

Not to mention the loss of Syrian armed forces in national defense.

Upon normalization of conditions in every part of the country – again incumbent on western powers and Arab allies disarmament commitment per Geneva decision,

Syria could systematically review and respond to national security requirements alongside proceeding with peaceful negotiations in the political front in addition to addressing citizens’ various requests and expectations across the spectrum.

Unlike Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Syria internationally acknowledged as a secular state with guaranteed protection to minority and majority alike.

Nonetheless, Syrian population and authority could reconcile differences and grievances among genuine opposition not affiliated to any source jeopardizing national interest.

Syrian leaderships have demonstrated political change through constitutional referendum and elections amid fierce battle between international players and state with more to be delivered after restoring calm and stability.

The state assembly has also approved many measures mentioned in the Geneva document since constitutional amendment despite concerted foreign efforts to thwart achievements posing impediments to meaningful democratic system ironically justified by outside powers in destabilization crusade under the guise of democracy establishment.

Syria as a sovereign nation with people rights to self-determination is capable of moving the nation forward in the absence of intrusions detrimental to progress.

As for authorized representative allegedly to be appointed by President Bashar-Al-Assad on Syrian internal affairs mentioned during UN and Arab League envoy Kofi Annan press conference subsequent to Geneva session,

Courtesy – UN Envoy Kofi Annan press conference post script – Thank you.

Annan: International Work Group Reached Agreement to Help Resolve Crisis in Syria Through Political Process Led by Syrians

“Regarding the date of Annan’s visit to Damascus, Annan said that he hasn’t set a date but he will certainly go to Damascus, noting that he agreed with President al-Assad that when the time comes, he will go and ask him to appoint an authorized representative to continue the process and help matters go forward, adding that President al-Assad voiced readiness to do so.”

The notion implies western powers and allies demand for President Bashar-Al-Assad resignation through delegation of responsibility to a nominee – the position is contradictory to Geneva agreement categorically eliminating pre-conditions and imposition of any kind on the leadership or nation at large.

Moreover, such circumstances would only confirm anticipated mistrust and lack of integrity from members eluding legitimate skepticism on the deal.

Honoring decisive action through Geneva consensus on this date June 30, 2012 specifically pledging against destructive course in Syria would be beneficial to all preventing catastrophe affecting the origin that the target.

Regardless, Syrian ceasefire could no longer be evaded and reiterating abovementioned requirement for peace to prevail in the war torn nation – influence and investment from abroad in firepower and military engagement must stop unconditionally leading to fulfillment of all other requisites in accordance with Syrian independent status and republic satisfaction.

With appreciation to members and committee for organizing the important event in Geneva, Switzerland,

Wishing Syrian society ever lasting peace and tranquility.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Syria – Saudi and Turkish Incursion Preemptive Warfare

June 30, 2012

By Padmini Arhant

As the international conference in Geneva discuss Syria,

Turkish and Saudi troops mobilized along the north, west and south east Syrian borders preempting warfare while the western and Arab allies backed terrorists wreaking havoc across the state with brutal killings of innocent civilians leading the nation into combat zone.

The most repressive regime in the Middle East – Western powers trusted ally Saudi Arabia behind 9/11 attacks and recently involved in Arab Spring massacre in Bahrain, Yemen, Egypt, Libya is a kingdom without emperor subservient to western supremacy obeying orders from the United States and NATO.

Turkey and Saudi Arabia – the two Islamic nations along with Qatar in the front line murdering fellow Muslims – unarmed men, women and children under U.S and NATO subjugation is reprehensible.

International community witnessed U.S. led NATO bombings targeting civilians under humanitarian pretext in Libya.

However in Syria, United States and NATO delegated abhorrent tasks to Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Libya spreading violence nationwide to achieve far-fetched and ill-fated regime change agenda.

Western strategy using Gulf partners in crimes against humanity escalating aggression on Syrian borders including representation through militias and mercenaries primarily responsible for bloodshed sponsoring unprecedented terror in a sovereign state.

United States Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton might have appeared to maintain conciliatory stance on Syria during St. Petersburg meeting with Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov by not insisting on Syrian leadership ouster due to prior arrangement through Saudi and Turkey incursions along Syrian territory to pursue the goal.

Western powers military interventional pursuit over pretentious diplomacy conspicuous on Syria.

The western belligerence is counterproductive and as for Saudi Arabia and Turkey – the surrender to western will for attack against neighbor is self-immolation with end justifying the means in the irrational conflict.

Syrian peace and democracy could not be established despite the state authority compliance with every possible demand barring President Bashar Al-Assad stepping down from office unless western and Arab aggressive invasion desist with immediate withdrawal of military artillery from Syria within and around.

Such activity is a precursor for elaborate indulgence in the region.

The insanity would not only engulf Middle East but also embroil the world in a smoldering confrontation especially with the same players nonchalant nuclear threats demonstrating urgency for their removal from power.

When nations and institutions refuse to learn from the past and present experience and continue on destructive course guided by delusional aspirations,

They eventually succumb to tragic outcome with irreversible consequences epitomizing senselessness in the otherwise resolvable crisis.

Turkey and Saudi Arabia retreat from Syrian borders is paramount respecting territorial integrity and sovereignty besides allowing diplomatic resolutions to be effective in western infiltrated turmoil.

The citizens in the western and Arab nations are obligatory to condemn and terminate governments action carried out in their name contributing to humanity suffering with privileged few carte blanche status aimed at retaining self-empowerment and enslavement of the rest.

Syria is an independent nation with population possessing the right to self-determination.

Any external meddling for detrimental objectives in direct violation of international law would deliver nothing except defeat in semblance with Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon.

Saudi Arabia and Turkey participation is provocative considering respective human rights record and calls for international isolation with boycott of goods and services to deter them from exacerbating Syrian victims plight.

In anticipation for peaceful settlements in Syria,

Wishing the people and leaderships in Syria success in national defense, peace restoration and political progress.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Syria – Geneva Peace Conference 2012

June 28, 2012

By Padmini Arhant

International conference scheduled on Saturday,June 30, 2012 in Geneva,Switzerland to end war in Syria is welcome and a step in the right direction provided the motives remain clear and not anchored on regime change for state and regional destabilization.

Moreover, United States Secretary of State demand to exclude Syria’s neighbor Iran in the international event claiming Iran as Syrian ally inappropriate to participate in the meeting suggestive of the fact –

The gathering not focused on peace but garner support to overthrow government replicating Libya in Syria with lawlessness and radicalization facilitating terror haven to promote arms supply benefiting profiteers from perpetual bloodshed.

Any international convention could not be exclusive especially eliminating nations directly affected by the ongoing conflict in Syria.

Notwithstanding Iran being western powers strategic invasion goal in the quest for global dominance.

Accordingly Geneva summit including Syria and Iran for their perspectives would be result oriented sparing exercise futility alienating those isolating key nations from involvement.

The mediation would not be fair and just in barring Iran and Syria considering the discussion pertains to their sovereign interest.

Syria and Iran engagement in the forthcoming session absolutely essential to allow them to express concerns and measures adopted in containing pervasive violence although arming and funding rebels predominantly responsible for escalating crisis in Syria.

Poignantly, the so-called Syrian opposition sponsors pledge via formal agreement to desist ammunition, communication equipment and other weapons export to militias and mercenaries important to prevent reported massacre, abductions and intimidation of businesses prolonging confrontation.

Besides ceasefire not possible in the absence of freezing arms influx into the state from Turkey and other routes undermining peace efforts and humanitarian relief.

Violations in this context should bear consequences such as boycott goods or global sanctions against nations regardless of stature to save lives and expedite peace plan.

United Nations inspection currently suspended due to widespread fighting between rebel factions and state confirms infiltration level and external forces influence in exacerbating fifteen months old mayhem and destruction.

Syrian authority compliance conducting referendum and parliamentary multi party elections amid foreign instigated chaos along with UN tour guaranteed by state security arrangement are noteworthy.

However, the persistent arms smuggling and terrorism into Syria pose impediments in meaningful political course completion.

Meanwhile, UN monitoring team head General Robert Mood reportedly unprecedented examination of government military installations and information compilation rather than visiting areas with most civilian casualties and,

Towns and villages apparently the epicenter for brutality against innocent children, women and men killed using tools other than firearms in close proximity raises legitimate questions on UN mission.

UN declared international organization maintaining neutrality and objectivity to protect humanity without cowering to major players pressure would be credible and perhaps deliver positive outcome.

Otherwise the growing mistrust from anomalies when using UN, IAEA or any world agency for investigation contributes to unnecessary stalemate with political reasons behind modus operandi.

The nations expected to attend Geneva forum are urged to respect Syria and Iran’s sovereign status and demonstrate equality enabling these two nations representation in the decision-making process.

Failure in this regard would be counterproductive for there is an urgent requirement to honor peaceful resolutions through diplomatic and democratic approach instead of acrimonious pursuits inevitably hurting the source than the intended target.

In anticipation on Geneva talks to conclude Syrian warfare leading to peace establishment,

The unanimous consensus or majority favoring peace and opportunity would be the impetus for amicable political settlements between Syrian population and government leadership.

Wishing Geneva consultation success upon inviting Syria and Iran epitomizing solidarity in international affairs moving forward with similar trend in the foreseeable future.

Peace to people in Syria and Iran defusing tensions across Middle East.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Syria – Turkey Reconnaissance on Sovereign Air Space

June 25, 2012

By Padmini Arhant

Turkey- the NATO ally reconnaissance on Syrian air space contributing to Syrian authority action in national defense is yet another unnecessary provocation by western powers relentless pursuit escalating violence in the war torn nation.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton condemnation of Syria protecting borders under assault on air, land and sea – courtesy extended by United States and allies with utter disregard for innocent lives is hypocritical and counterproductive.

Any investigation in this matter would be appropriate and credible upon being carried out by independent neutral state genuinely pledged to peace unlike NATO and United States with serious war crimes committed in recent months,

Not to mention the controversial nonchalant predator drones slaughtering unarmed men, women and mostly children in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan including sectarian conflict exported to South East Asia viz. Burma / Myanmar in the Buddhists and Muslims riot with no remorse or respect for national sovereignty under perpetual attack and life in general.

The obsession for regime change has claimed thousands of citizens killed and displaced with western powers ammunition supply to the deployed militias and mercenaries as the so-called opposition earlier in Libya and,

Replicated in Syria having betrayed international community with massive media propaganda and choreographed events to sell the war.

The facts unfolded subsequent to NATO decimation of Libya not barring Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi assassination in Public Square.

Western powers strategy premised on lies and deception to invade, occupy and violate human rights in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, Egypt, Libya, Bahrain and Syria reprehensible with architects and profiteers behind heinous crimes against humanity never held accountable thus far.

United States and International Criminal Court are obligatory in demonstrating commitment to democratic values and social justice concerning humanity at large abandoning prejudice and selective indictments jeopardizing credibility and purpose to protect people from disproportionate military aggression.

In this context, the regimes in the United States, England and Israel aptly qualify due to past and present escapades with no end in sight.

Unfortunately the imperialistic quest for global dominance unleashing terror in every possible manner does not even spare own servicemen and women falling victims to the carefree ‘friendly fire’ and drones debilitating troops morale evident in the reportedly alarming suicides among combat personnel and,

Regrettable conduct such as desecration of deceased Afghan fighters, shooting spree targeting harmless children and women in Afghanistan, Holy Quran burning and more unreported incidents blocked as classified information.

Guantanamo Bay, renditions, torture and habeas corpus denial continues until today – prominently known as Bush-Cheney legacy.

United States illegal warfare and atrocity against weak and defenseless under false pretext of spreading democracy on borrowed funds with sovereign debt to the hilt exacerbates burden on American taxpayers and future generation.

In the absence of effective American dissent and public outcry – the land of the free and home of the brave faltering to restore human dignity and republic governed democracy.

United States leaderships’ gross abuse of power against domestic and overseas population suppressing freedom with NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act), ACTA, CISPA, Patriot Act serve the powerful and belligerent in the far-fetched ill-fated course with more casualties on the horizon justifiably calls for congressional proceedings in the arbitrary massacre using drones and mercenaries in different parts of the world.

Western powers and allies intervention in Syria sabotaging life and peace plan must cease unconditionally with simultaneous response from Syrian government to guarantee Syrian victims safety and security.

Syrian authority like any other sovereign nation bears responsibility to defend territorial integrity especially in the face of existential incursions from forces least concerned about international law violation inflicting misery on residents across the beleaguered state.

Syrian blood shed caused with arms smuggled into the country by rebel factions representing western powers in the latest spate of brutality must be terminated and,

United Nations General Assembly unanimous resolution in this respect is the preliminary step to save lives facilitating ceasefire.

Peace and diplomacy in Syria could not be bargained at the expense of young and old death tolls rising by the hour with unwarranted intrusions aiming for regional destabilization.

United Nations Human rights commission, UNHCR and governments around the world as UN members urged to participate in the emergency session to permanently halt Syrian confrontation between external powers and the state.

Expediting peace in Syria paramount to avert global catastrophe – flagrant euro zone and U.S. economy in particular.

With expectations on peaceful resolutions to Syrian crisis,

Wishing people and leaderships in Syria peace and tranquility in the immediate period and beyond.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Pakistan – Democracy under Siege

June 20, 2012

By Padmini Arhant

United States and ally England once again adopt undemocratic tactics and this time around in the Indian sub-continent against Pakistan.

The western trio U.S., England and Israel imperialistic desire and far-fetched ambitions for global conquest through military intervention is no secret considering the deadly imprint throughout history continued until now with Blood River flowing across Middle East and massacres in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Pakistan has been the battleground for architects behind ill-fated PNAC (Project for New American Century) to start world war III gaining strategic advantage against emerging economies India, China and Russia subsequent to launching attacks on Iran.

Although India at present made to believe the United States ally analogous to the impression created with Pakistan not long ago in the so-called war on terror,

The western troika relation with allies is well known even among them such as Israel attack on USS Liberty killing U.S. marines in the absence of remorse or apology and England as well as Israel collusion in 9/11 attack.

Outside – former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, CIA trained and Bush family friend Osama Bin Laden, ex-Libyan President Colonel Gaddafi, Pakistani dictatorship General Pervez Musharraf, clinically pronounced dead Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak – are just few examples to confirm trustworthiness or the lack thereof in the extraordinary alliances only to be betrayed at the critical hour.

United States infiltration in Pakistan deploying mercenaries like Blackwaters aka XE services, paramilitary, CIA personnel on the ground with persistent drone strikes was legitimately condemned and resisted by democratically elected Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani unlike the predecessor and western partner General Musharraf or the contemporary agent in political opposition.

Pakistan had become thorn on the side for western powers when Prime Minister Gilani raised serious objection to United States occupation utilizing Shamsi air base to shower drones,

Conducted deceptive Abbottabad raid resurrecting the long dead U.S. friend and foe Osama Bin Laden for political scores aimed at Barack Obama’s re-election to second term having miserably lost in the mid-term election in 2010 and Gubernatorial race as well reflecting then incumbent Barack Obama administration failures and,

Surpassing all events was the unapologetic NATO assault on 24 Pakistani soldiers in the Salala outpost.

Accordingly, Pakistan Army Chief Ashfaq Parvez Kayani issued shooting order on foreign air attacks following U.S. led NATO aggression in 2011.

The ramifications resulted in U.S. and Pakistan standoff and NATO supply routes blockade.

Furthermore, the incumbent President Barack Obama administration and United States Congress in the House and Senate reacted with aid withdrawal on Pakistan court decision sentencing Dr. Shakil Afridi reportedly hired by United States in scandalous Abbottabad mission – the dubious operation demanding unadulterated American investigation to avoid dangerous precedence in the abuse of executive power.

Whereas Pakistan judiciary claimed Dr. Afridi was on trial for alleged treason in Baluchistan secessionist movement.

The murder of Pakistan soldiers and nearly 40,000 civilians since U.S. invasion along north western borders of Waziristan and urban suicide bombings justifiably caused Islamabad to take a firm stance and,

Prime Minister Gilani expressed disapproval by declining to attend U.S. hosted Bonn summit in 2011.

In another instance, United States spy and CIA operative Raymond Davis shot down two unarmed civilians identified as farmers in the market and President Barack Obama administration warned Pakistan against prosecution or any legal action granting Mr. Davis diplomatic impunity irrespective of the crime committed in public view.

Concurrently United States Republican member at the House from California Dana Tyrone Rohrabacher introduced a bill on Baluchistan recognizing the State Union in Pakistan as an independent nation.

The unconstitutional showmanship arguably sparked anti-American sentiments in Pakistan and the Congressman action widely criticized for unnecessary provocation.

Ironically the self-proclaimed fiscal conservatives in U.S. Congress usually in the front line to filibuster legislation on funding programs benefitting American citizens and veterans squandered taxpayer dollars in the unwanted session.

Then onwards U.S. and Pakistan relationship precipitously deteriorated with United States escalating violence in all fronts on Pakistani soil with utter disregard for Pakistan’s sovereignty and,

Meanwhile U.S. State department wasted no opportunity with direct interference in Pakistan’s internal political affairs utilizing loyalists and servitudes to western powers within Pakistan’s diplomatic and political circle for removal of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani from office and government destabilization.

United States and England constant meddling in Pakistan rocking the first viable democracy in that nation with reprehensible practices like bribes, blackmail, drones, nuclear threats not only for surrender of sovereignty but also appeasement denied under Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.

The political maneuvering with Supreme Court abrupt disqualification of incumbent Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani also linked to western crafted corruption case against the son of present Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry prompting judicial verdict against western targeted leadership in the typical divide and conquer strategy not barring pressure on compliance to external intrusion – a trend in vogue for Washington to spread mayhem in the Indian sub-continent.

The outcome in Pakistan politics is counterproductive for United States with troops stationed in Pakistan’s backyard alongside jeopardizing safety of U.S. espionage members and contractors scattered across the nation.

Pakistan volatility also facilitates hegemony to exploit vulnerabilities displayed among spotlight starved failed opposition member with strong western ties exacerbating crisis for personal goals.

Notwithstanding spill over extending beyond boundary to complicit government in New Delhi administered by Washington on domestic matter including cabinet appointments depicting colonial era – Master – slave establishment.

Pakistan population could unanimously confront the western orchestrated political setbacks to deter progress in any dimension.

The western objective to subjugate Pakistan as a failed state and terror haven – a common reference in the media representing western authoritarian belief all too convenient to prolong warfare experimenting newly manufactured artillery and technology on scores of innocent civilians in rural and tribal areas of the country.

Additionally, terror recruitments a by-product of foreign dominance would always serve the purpose in the militarization of Indian sub-continent and Central Asia threatening the ultimate adversaries China and Russia.

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani provided direction and consistently pursued peace on every occasion with western characterized ‘arch nemesis’ India and Afghanistan apart from neighbors in the region.

The government under Prime Minister Gilani was inclusive transcending gender and ethnicity – the premise for territorial hungered powers triggering sectarian conflict wherever possible.

Pakistan’s future is dependent on defending national interest prohibiting overseas influence and local opportunists capitalizing the moment for political gains lacking in vision and solutions to myriad problems confronting the beleaguered state.

Accepting the status quo is reminiscent of western coup d’état in Iran that toppled the democratically elected head of the state – DR. Mohammad Mossadeq for his commitment to democracy free of western coercion.

Pakistan being a sovereign state need not succumb to prevalent development and instead exemplify resilience against all challenges with reinstatement of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.

Prime Minister Gilani stood for PPP (Pakistan’s People Party) until the last minute to preserve democratic system from cracking and unscrupulous elements at the political helm from abroad aimed at Pakistan’s fragmentation used the fragility to embark on sacrificial ritual.

The Swiss bank accounts do not pertain to Prime Minister Gilani and the circumstances for conviction as contempt of court despite defense counsel’s elaborate evidence based facts presented on the accused behalf exposes inherent weaknesses and flaws undermining judicial law in the highest court on land.

In this context, the earlier regime widely regarded as the western puppet General Pervez Musharraf offshore accounts especially US $10 billion aid per western sources as incentive to invade Pakistan somehow not raised by Pakistan political rivals in the accountability fervor.

Perhaps the western backed dissent in judiciary and polity against leader Gilani apprehensive about drawing national focus on General Musharraf treasure cove given their harrowing experience as political prisoners during the military rule.

Pakistan is at the crossroads to either remain steadfast in rallying behind Yousuf Raza Gilani leadership epitomizing courage integrity and proven track record in moving the nation forward and above all preventing foreign incursion or resign to perpetual turmoil compromising freedom and economic prospects to satisfy supremacists usurpation.

Hopefully rationality and prudence will triumph in the acknowledgment of genuine leadership.

Best Wishes to Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and people of Pakistan in endeavors that guarantee peace and success to the nation at large.

Peace to all!

Thank you.
