Palestine – Gaza War

Israeli aggression against citizens in Gaza – the warfare in the past 29 days has claimed many civilian lives with children being the majority among them.

Israeli attacks resulted in more than 1600 casualties and at least 5000 wounded.

Israeli authorities relentless assault on defenseless Gazans cannot be justified regardless of Israel’s allies and media surrogates explanation to international community.

The leaderships in Israel, United States and Britain bear responsibility for the deaths and destruction in Gaza.

The allies defending Israel’s air strikes for nearly a month ignore Israel’s war crimes and human rights violation.

The war in Gaza is facilitated by United States and other allies military aid to Israel.

United States taxpayer funds allocated for monetary aid amounting to $ 3 billion besides free supply of innovative defense stockpiles to Israel allow use of force on Gaza.

Furthermore, the lack of accountability promotes violence and authorities behind atrocities are evidently granted political impunity.

Any indictments in this regard are selective and isolate nations that are perceived as adversaries while allies such as Israel regularly protected from accepting responsibility.

Since the establishment of Israel in 1948, the invasion in 1967 and subsequently subjugation of Palestine lasting over seven decades confirms world failure to restore fairness and justice.

The permanent members with veto power at the United Nations Security Council remain oblivious to Israel’s air raids and shelling of Gaza.

Had the major powers expressed genuine concern and acted accordingly in expediting ceasefire instead of defending Israel’s military action,

The loss of lives could have been prevented and the population would have received emergency medical assistance especially the severely injured children and women in this unjust and disproportionate military combat situation.

Israel targeting Gaza University, UN school and even hospital in this warfare demonstrates Israel’s contempt for Palestinian lives denying them basic needs for survival.

Israel’s unilateral blockade on Gaza has caused many fatalities and immense human suffering on international watch and compliance.

The Mideast peace process derailed due to controversial settlement activity in West Bank and al Quds, East Jerusalem along side Israel’s persecution of Palestinians not even sparing minors as young as ten and eleven years old is a sign of desperation to prolong oppression.

Whenever invaders as oppressors exceed limits in their abuse of power, the self-destructive course backlash on them conforming to reaping what one sow in life.

The nuclear state Israel involvement in reckless activities using Gaza as launch pad for Israel’s weapons backfiring at Israel is imminent.

The inevitable event upon continuation of status quo could endanger Israel’s existence and such occurrence would entirely be attributed to Israel’s counterproductive strategy.

Israel’s security and stability is directly linked with peaceful reconciliation ending the occupation in Palestine.

The global society recognition of Palestinian statehood as sovereign entity with privileges and rights similar to countries worldwide is paramount for human civilization and progress.

Global peace and freedom is possible when every nation enjoys equal respect and opportunity critical for survival and sustaining territorial integrity.

Palestinians could no longer be suppressed for their resistance against colonization.

Israel’s acknowledgment of Palestinian rights and independence would guarantee Israel’s identity and destiny.

I convey my sincere condolences to victims’ families and wish the wounded speedy recovery.

May God bless Palestinians in reclaiming their homeland bringing the political struggle to conclusion.

Peace to Palestine!

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Palestine – Israel Aggression Against Gaza

Israeli authorities ongoing aggression having claimed at least 600 and more lives and still counting is deeply regrettable and deserves denouncement.

Israel pursuing violence to exert authority over Palestinians in the occupied territory has no limits and the oppression since the establishment of Israel in 1948 continues until now.

Whenever Israel is at odds with political development in Palestine, Israel’s leadership immediate response from is military attacks and intensified ground raids not even sparing the place of worship – al Aqsa mosque in al Quds, East Jerusalem.

Similarly Israel’s unilateral blockade on Gaza from 2007 has crippled Gaza’s economy with life made impossible for the citizens in the beleaguered enclave.

The sanctions are not confined to trade activities alone but also extended towards livelihoods with restrictions on fishermen in coastal Gaza.

Gaza fishermen inadvertent crossing beyond demarcated territorial waters dealt with extreme measures ranging from apprehension, prolonged detention to random shooting in the speedboat chase threatening the fishing community in Gaza.

Israel’s routine airstrikes followed by persistent ground incursion is reprehensible.

Again the belligerence with impunity on international watch and Arab league silence imply complicity and endorsement of crimes against defenseless and voiceless people in Gaza and the rest of Palestine.

Israel and allies justifying military option and tactics as self-defense is baseless and confirms utter disregard for Palestinian lives and human rights in the occupied state.

In the absence of collective responsibility to condemn Israeli authorities provocation and use of force the innocent civilians pay the price,

Israeli government issuing construction permits extending settlement activities in West Bank, al-Quds and now the military assault on Gaza clarifies the political paradox in the proclamation of Israel being the only democracy in the Middle East.

The fact of the matter is the architects behind the policy against Palestinians promote subjugation through occupation and suppression of political freedom for regional dominance and influence via proxy representation in most parts of the world under the guise of democracy.

Israeli government with allies – United States and Britain defending the indefensible offense in Gaza speaks volume on the kind of democracy prevalent in respective domains and arguably raise questions on the legitimacy of the power enforcing gross human rights violation.

Ever since the formation of unity government in Ramallah emerging from bilateral consensus between Hamas and Fatah leaderships,

Israel along with United States having vehemently opposed the unification is currently engaged in turning Gaza into the playground to test defense stockpiles and innovative technology in Israel’s possession.

Showing no remorse for the killings of children, women and youths in Gaza, the leaderships in Israel, United States, Britain and alike in favor of present violence demonstrates political characteristics in contradiction to assertion as democracy worthy of emulation.

Unwillingness to accept political progress in Palestine is the sign of insecurity and frustration over declining supremacy.

The nuclear state Israel’s defiance to international call to cease Palestinian oppression only isolates the former and,

Global perspective on this issue evidently identifies the occupier as the problem.

Israeli authorities persecution of Palestinians – Gaza in particular targeted at every opportunity is self-detrimental and indicative of the beginning of the end of sponsors with unmitigated disaster arising from reckless policy.

United States veto at the U.N. Security Council on Palestinian issue is predominantly responsible for status quo.

Had United States adopted fairness and objectivity reflecting democratic values and respect for all lives rather than selective protection on humanitarian and political affairs during UNSC resolutions,

The Palestinian and global crises could be contained and resolved in humanity’s interest.

Instead the failed strategy is the preference, expecting to prevail in the misguided agenda.

Israel and allies credibility is directly linked with recognition of Palestinians as members of human race and acknowledgment of Palestinian rights to exist in a free society.

United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) coming forward with every member state exercising sovereign right on unanimous approval to the establishment of Independent Palestine is the urgent requirement on Israeli Palestinian dispute settlement.

The formal and official status to Palestinian statehood encompassing contentious and relevant matter is the key solution to Palestinian political struggle.

Israel renouncing violence for peaceful co-existence would guarantee stability and security to all in the otherwise volatile region.

Those instigating unrest and turmoil anywhere could not be democratic and the lack of tolerance to unity endangers global peace with inevitable adverse impact for the origin.

Israel’s ceasefire against Gaza and honoring Palestinian liberty with unconditional release of all detainees in detention centers, freezing settlers expansion in West Bank and demolition of Palestinian homes in East Jerusalem, withdrawal of Israeli forces from the occupied territory is paramount for positive outcome in the peace initiative on Israeli and Palestinian conflict.

Israel’s military might exacerbates Palestinian plight notwithstanding the egregious decisions affecting the source having exhausted the victims and global citizens patience on abuse of power and privilege.

Finally, Israeli authorities concern for own safety amid violent pursuits against residents in Gaza and remaining Palestine is entirely dependent on renunciation of obsolete dogma in appreciation for Palestinian and others freedom.

I offer my sincere condolences to bereaved families with prayers for those wounded in the unnecessary and unwanted warfare in Gaza.

May God bless the people seeking relief from suffering and expedite the new beginning marking the conclusion of terror causing turbulence.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Palestine – Unity Government Formation

June 4, 2014

By Padmini Arhant

Congratulations! To citizens in Palestine and Fatah as well as Hamas leaderships on the unity government headed by Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah along with ministers from both political factions constituting national representation.

The bipartisanship is the preliminary step towards addressing basic to most challenging issues such as the long overdue Palestinian statehood independent from foreign occupation viz. Israeli, United States or UN forces notwithstanding any unilateral sanctions that has crippled Gaza economy and made survival nearly impossible.

The new government face tough problems considering Israeli authorities stance on the latest development regrettably perceived as a threat to status quo.

Israel holding tax revenues from West Bank and declining to free detainees in opposition to unified Palestine is erroneous decision and could inevitably result in further isolation in the region and rest of the world.

Again Israel or anyone else rejecting Palestinian political groups peaceful merger would mean they are not in favor of harmony and amicable resolution.

Nonetheless when people in occupied territories i.e. West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem al-Quds are denied normal existence due to –

Accelerated settlement activity,

Troops deployment with check posts,

Apartheid wall,

Demolition of locals’ homes,

Farmers olive trees burned down,

Fishermen in Gaza not allowed access and,

Last but not the least the military raid in al-Aqsa mosque including attack on worshippers and many apprehended without any formal charges…continues unabated in the absence of consequences for aggression against innocent victims in the political struggle.

Accordingly the political leaderships in Ramallah and Gaza cannot afford prolonged suffering in the besieged land.

The international recognition of the Palestinian government set up on popular will would clarify the world commitment to peace since regional stability is dependent on Palestinian freedom.

Palestinian authorities efficient governance would rely on administration function preventing corruption and remaining steadfast in providing necessities despite restraints producing shortages in food and medical supplies with Israeli blockade and military incursion.

The global support to the recently formed government in trade and commerce through economic growth oriented investments,, multilateral ties in building infrastructure and job creation would ease the burden on the suppressed economy.

Meanwhile, ending Israel’s presence and complete troop withdrawal from Palestinian domain together with freezing controversial settlement program would demonstrate global pledge towards fairness and equality.

The consistent failure in Mideast peace process attributed to Israel and sponsor’s disingenuous involvement setting criteria while not being in compliance with same demands on Palestinian people..

Israel’s credibility could be restored upon honoring territorial integrity of Palestinian area and neighboring states borders constantly violated ignoring international law arguably lacking in universal enforcement.

Additionally, the unconditional release of all Palestinian detainees on hunger strike and others deprived of legal course would perhaps foster better relations with nations besides Israel’s familiar allies in the world.

Furthermore United States solemn oath to protect Israel disregarding the latter human rights record especially against Palestinian population not excluding minors as young as eleven years or under highlight the former departure from democratic principles and human values blindly surrendering to Israel’s dominance on the United States political system.

Palestinian government and political members from different platform sharing common vision with primary goal to liberate Palestine strengthening capability in every respect would enhance economic, political, humanitarian and social prospects for citizens in subjugation.

Wishing Palestinian citizens, refugees, leaderships and incumbent government success in endeavors contributing to patriotic interest.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

World Peace And Security – Western Democracy and United States Army under Siege By Imperialism

January 9, 2014

By Padmini Arhant

The ongoing crises in the following nations and latest developments on major issues confirm western democracy and United States army under siege by imperialism.

Afghanistan – United States declaring intentions to stay beyond 2014.

Iran – United States Senators proposal on anti-Iran sanctions despite Geneva nuclear deal between P5+1 and Iran in progress.

Syria – Foreign Sponsors not interested in ceasefire regardless of burgeoning humanitarian problems and rising death toll in the war torn country.

South Sudan – Rebels instigated to continue with clashes rather than ending confrontation.

Central African Republic – France illegal invasion along with UN plus regional intervention under false pretext to restore peace create disorder and exacerbate victims suffering.

Palestine – Israeli authorities defiance demonstrated in more settlement activities,, intensifying blockade on Gaza and imprisonment of Palestinian youth and children.

Bahrain – Tear gas supply from South Korea stifled through global activism.  However weapons delivery from United States, Britain and Saudi Arabia maintained to curb political uprising.

United States – Senate approves Federal Reserve nominee Janet Yellen but delays American citizens unemployment benefits.

Congress approves trillion dollar warfare in Afghanistan and military aid to Israel contributing to human rights violation and countless casualties including members of the United States armed forces thus far.

Palestine – Peace Negotiation Requirement Process

July 28, 2013

By Padmini Arhant

Israel initiated peace talks with Palestinian PLO leadership Mahmoud Abbas premised on Israel’s political referendum seeking Israeli citizens mandate exclusively determine Israel’s interest.

However, the other side viz. the native Palestinians including refugees forced to leave homeland as victims of prolonged occupation due representation is imperative for meaningful outcome.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cabinet decision to release Palestinian detainees is welcome and a positive step in humanitarian perspective.

Again the measure implemented in action with unconditional return of all inmates to their families is important for further discussion on other issues surrounding the nearly six and half decades old crises.

The illegal settlements in West Bank and al-Quds along with Israeli troop deployment in occupied territories being the bone of contention among diverse issues – the situation deserves immediate attention beginning with construction termination and IDF forces withdrawal from Palestinian land.

Similarly, in the coastal enclave Gaza – Israeli leadership lifting unilateral blockade since 2007 crippling Gaza economy and citizens survival is crucial for Gazans participation in the dialogue.

The idea of peace process requires strong foundation with removal of obstacles outlined above in addition to enabling Palestinian population the self-determination rights through comprehensive and inclusive contribution in the critical statehood matter.

Any efforts to circumvent main concerns and controversial territorial disputes could unnecessarily hinder reconciliation prospects in the long overdue peaceful settlement.

Israeli authorities desire for discourse demonstrated in redressing fundamental causes behind human rights violation and colonization denying Palestinians life with dignity is essential to move forward in direct engagement.

Considering previous involvements in deriving peaceful solution to Mideast problems derailed with contradictory response to agreements,

Palestinian apprehensions and mistrust in this context is understandable and legitimately shifts the burden of responsibility on Israel to meet with Palestinian people expectations and compliance of international law.

The endeavor would be fruitful upon Israel’s sincere commitment delivered in recognition of Palestinian independence and sovereign status eliminating Israeli control over Palestinian lives and territorial integrity.

Furthermore, the key factor is to renounce obsolete strategies to gain advantage under false pretexts and instead adopting rational approach for greater good and common benefit is prudent to end the embattled matter.

Palestinian consent to peace deal is entirely dependent on the occupying power political will to honor Palestinian liberty without Israel’s rule in the beleaguered territory.

Israeli leaderships are urged to pursue constructive course in not only bringing the stalemate to conclusion but also for regional stability and security.

Wishing success in expeditious resolution of Palestinian freedom struggle.

Peace to all!

Thank you.
