The downfall for human celebrity and power status is propaganda and megalomania.
The current trend in paid and hired publicity to propagate personal attributes and mostly the lack thereof often falsely embellished is the worst form of megalomania.
In celebrity syndrome and power struggle -exaggeration, fabrication and fraudulence dominates much to the subjects woeful self-adulation resulting in seismic shatter beyond recognition.
The publicity campaign either way is indicative of low self-esteem engaged in monetized aggrandizement.
Such traits invariably proven titanic fate.
Modesty is paradoxical to megalomaniacal attitude. Unfortunately the latter overwhelms celebrity and power throne unseating the members sooner than later in a reminder to the successors not to abstain from humility.
Above all, original and natural can never be replaced with fake and imposter maneuvers exposing the conspicuous nefarious play in the substitute.
What celebrity and power players could do for a change is to decline black money essentially the dirty money exchanged with the huge undeserving price tags in celebrity and political world.
The black money corruption culture is hurting the economy on the whole through superficial inflation hitting the middle class, lower income and the poorest at the bottom.
Accordingly, any philanthropy using black money is nothing but money and character laundering amidst mass deception.

The ethnic cleansing of Tamils in Northern and predominantly eastern provinces of Sri Lanka not barring the Tamils in Colombo, the Hill Country Tamils and Tamil citizens in south and western areas of Sri Lanka is a dark history for the victims and survivors yearning an end to their misery, marginalization, disenfranchisement, exploitation endured in generational suffering.
That time has arrived now for Tamils seeking Tamil Eelam which is essentially a free independent sovereign statehood as Tamil Desam.
The Tamils’ State along the Northern, Eastern and Hill Country Tamils in the central highlands identifying themselves as Tamil community emancipation is long overdue.
The severely oppressed Tamils have long been striving for basic rights, equal opportunity to education, employment, health care, safety and security and equality of justice barring prejudice – the treatment imposed as the fate on the subjugated tamils in the island nation.
The Tamil Desam in the Tamil Eelam freedom movement would enshrine and encompass the fundamental human rights to life, dignity, progress and prosperity for all inhabitants in the newly established Tamil state.
In the modern age, the oppression and violations of human rights denying the people due respect as human beings in realizing their hope and dreams in life similar to those enjoying the same and more in the same nation and other parts of the independent world is gross injustice and against any human values.
The Tamils in Sri Lanka continue to experience the excruciating plight together with the current political and economic crisis in the island.
Tamil Desam is the resolution to Tamil Eelam struggles having lost nearly 2 million lives in ethnic genocide since the onset of Tamil alienation and segregation in Sri Lanka.
The civil war and thereafter the state conducted summary execution of unarmed Tamil civilians not even sparing children as young as nine, ten and eleven year old Tamil boys who were all seated in a row with their hands tied on their back and blind folded while the Sri Lankan military personnel were ordered to shoot them point blank at close range by then and currently deposed Rajapaksa regime.
The shootings were carried out with authority and international immunity.
The horrendous killings of Sri Lankan Tamils is not a mere history rather systemic extermination of a race despite nativity.
Notwithstanding the Tamil young girls and women not barring pregnant mothers were raped, maimed and mutilated with horrifying images staring at the world during the preventable native residents’ pogrom.
The brutal heinous crime committed by Mahinda Rajapaksa and Gotabaya Rajapaksa on international watch is no lesser of atrocities against humanity.
The manner in which such brutality and savagery was authorized and executed by Rajapaksa regime with political impunity raise legitimate questions on human civilizations’ silence and tolerance to barbarism exemplified in actions beneath human nature.
The holocaust against Jewish descendants was countered and compensated with numerous military, political, legal and economic settlement that continues unabated until now.
The Nuremberg trial prosecuting and convicting those involved in the holocaust became the natural process.
Reinstating that holocaust since then and before has been the norm against many segments, ethnic groups, demography, tribes and communities world over.
Nonetheless, the perpetrators of crimes in such abhorrent violence and violations are not necessarily subject to the same extent of international law and condemnation as expected in any civilized lawful society subscribing to fairness and impartiality.
There is always a possibility to charter course setting new precedence in exempting none above law and trials for abuse of power in authorizing and engagement of mass murder and human rights breach depriving innocent victims survival and sustenance.
The Nuremberg trial equivalent on Rajapaksa regime viz. Mahinda Rajapaksa, Gotabaya Rajapaksa and those involved in Tamil genocide in Sri Lanka is incumbent on international community and justice system to act and deliver justice to the Tamil victims and families persecuted without any recourse in the so-called free world.

The government in a real functioning democracy is defined as the organization elected by the people, for the people and of the people.
Is government truly representative of the people and for the people even though government is proudly claimed to be elected by the people in reference to the political capital?
Why are people disillusioned by government in power?
What is the role of government and are those seated in positions as Prime Minister, President, Vice President, Speaker, political opposition and other designations sincerely committed to serving the people across the nation including the electorate that did not vote for them?
If government is elected by the people to serve them and the nation at large anywhere,
Why is running for public office at the municipal to national level costs millions and billions through illegal funds flowing from any and all directions?
The bidders on political candidates in election become the stakeholder upon their candidate election to office. The lobbying begins to benefit the stakeholders’ economic gains, environment violations and other known as well as hidden agenda.
Where is the political representation for people amidst such corruption involved campaigns and subsequent commitment to special interests groups by office bearers from top to bottom?
The other strange predicament is the candidacy having received money from various sources not barring some or many unlawful channels including overseas governments to exert influence over the elected member, these members as the elected rather selected representatives in Parliament or Congress passing legislations and making laws that have been violated by them in the course of entry to public office.
Most nations have their political members violating laws they introduced and voted for in Parliament and Congress essentially holding them above law they legislated for the rest of the society to comply with.
The double standards in many scenarios form the basis for public mistrust raising questions on politics and ethics – generally oxymoron in political system.
The same would apply on transparency and accountability. The members in politics with enormous excess baggage of corruption, criminal records, treason and more are safe and secure with political impunity. They are guaranteed untouchability meaning the arms of justice would never reach them no matter what they do. The crimes committed by them ranging from abuse of power, human rights violations, political tactics deployed to grab and remain in power via bribes, threats and in some cases murder as well are not regarded punishable by law they passed for most law abiding civil society.
How does government operate?
With tax money paid by citizens generally the vast ordinary income group since the wealthiest and major corporations pay little or no taxes given their influence on government essentially at the former service in most parts of the world.
How do governments spend people’s money?
The governments are obligatory to publish information in this regard basically accounting for the money collected in taxes and national revenue from domestic and overseas trade. The current account balance resulting in foreign remittance from trade and receipts in transactions on foreign currency are reported though this figure is often hyped or not provided correctly on many accounts.
As for spending public money, the governments are known for gambling people’s money in many wasteful expenditures while depriving tax payers from due relief during natural or man made crisis like the pandemic and economic decline brought upon by government policy and plan.
The big government is a major expenditure for taxpayers dealing with bureaucracy, red tape and other agencies basically serving government private needs more than public requirements. There are too many government agencies doing very little or nothing to benefit taxpayers and citizens except serving the political power targeted tasks like IT cells and social media to attack and silence constructive criticism on government performance or the lack thereof. There are government set up agencies to spy, snoop, intimidate and threaten political opposition and civil society in fear of public scrutiny of the ruling power in office.
Overall the government’s mismanagement of public money and economy besides corruption is the reason behind poverty, unemployment, inflation and the persistent gap between the rich and poor in society.
How does politics benefit those seeking career from the field?
Politics is a gold mine for vast majority who claim to belong to humble background prior to entry to charm voters on the campaign trail.
There are those seeking the highest office on land like Presidency and Prime Ministership publicly stating that as community organizers they had maxed out credit cards and have unpaid student loans despite twenty or more years since graduation from Princeton and Harvard law school. Then there are others repeating their one liner on having sold tea / chai on curbside to paint a modest past. The stretch having emerged from a cave adorning the heavenly incarnate is not ruled out in this context.
These individuals turning into billionaire during the term in office speaks volume on their handling or mishandling of public money and importantly lucrative backend deals with major industries in the economy and foreign contracts is the cash cow behind overnight political enrichment.
Nonetheless, a majority in politics with serious financial debts and poor economic status walk out with hefty bank balance in off shore accounts and assets worth millions and billions at the end of the term in office.
The trend make them eligible to join the billionaire club and recreational activity membership like premier golf club with annual membership fees at $250,000 or more. The opportunity to own seaside real estate and vineyards are also galore for them having criticized their target for personal properties owned via honest hard labor and life savings in the latter lifetime. The political hypocrisy in such instances is yet another shade of politics in the end justifying the means for them.
Not to mention the highest office is also misused to enhance and secure financial earnings increased exponentially with perks and privileges enacted extending beyond the term in office as lifelong package.
Whilst individual extraordinary monetary welfare are arranged lasting lifetime in the course of political career costing taxpayers indefinitely, there are leaderships eliminating basic financial assistance and medical compensation to army personnel.
The reference is to the foot soldiers facing the bullets, snipers, missiles and land mine explosives in battle field and peace time. The rank and file army in front line are categorically denied medical and retirement payments in the government effort to overhaul defense expenditure like in India.
The topic will resume on identity politics discarding meritocracy at the national and electorate expense.

Update: With Sri Lanka facing financial catastrophe, it is incumbent on all off shore tax havens and foreign bank accounts in Switzerland, Singapore, United States, European Union member states, Mauritius, Seychelles, Virgin Island and island nations in South Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Ocean i.e. worldwide to freeze assets and security holdings of Mahinda Rajapaksa, his brother, the ousted President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the entire Rajapaksa family including Sri Lankan key political members and other influential forces in Sri Lankan society.
The Rajapaksa family and other affluent members in Sri Lanka known for massive corruption scandals and backend deals with China, India and other foreign contracts are obligatory to surrender the nation’s wealth amassed by them to the economically struggling Sri Lankan people in entirety without any alienation or segregation of any demography.
The offshore accounts holdings of the Rajapaksa family and others return remittance of funds to Sri Lankan treasury is critical to ease the financial meltdown created by the absconding Mahinda Rajapaksa, Gotabaya Rajapaksa and family as well as every one of those individuals behind the systemic financial fraud.
Unfortunately, the Sri Lankan Buddhist monks initially responsible for rallying behind Mahinda Rajapaksa and playing a negative controversial role in Sri Lankan politics is against Buddhism and Buddhist ideology.
Sri Lankan Buddhist monks remaining committed to religious activities and refraining from politics conclusively would epitomize Sri Lankan Buddhist religious dias adherence to Gautam Buddha’s philosophy on detachment to political power and authority.
Gautam Buddha renouncing the throne in quest for knowledge about life and existence that was shared among those desired to learn from Gautam Buddha’s teachings is the paradigm. Accordingly, the disciples and those drawn towards buddhism are naturally expected to pursue and observe Buddhist values exemplified by Lord Buddha prior to and post nirvana.

Sri Lanka’s bankruptcy exacerbated by Mahinda Rajapaksa and family regime boosted and bolstered by political regimes in neighboring India – previously the Congress led by Sonia Gandhi and subsequently by the successor Hindutva fundamentalist RSS run BJP Narendra Modi regime in New Delhi.
The foreign intrusions were not limited to India and China in Sri Lanka, the international criminal clique adept at bankrupting economies via corrupt proxy and puppet regimes fitting in with upending democracy and political stability anywhere extended the nod in installing the unpopular, corrupt and violent Rajapaksa regime by unconstitutionally removing the predecessor government from power.
Now when the chips are down and having been instrumental in Sri Lanka’s political and economic turmoil, these foreign powers behind the mayhem have exploited the economically embattled Sri Lanka’s position.
China on its part as creditor has strangled Sri Lanka’s economy albeit with then President and later Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa’s surrender to China’s extraordinary financial demands that included the strategically critical sea port on the Indian Ocean – the Hambantota port in Southern province of the island.
The neighbor India under Narendra Modi’s regime on their part having been the front line supporters in illegally reinstating the Rajapaksa regime in power along with the likes of BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy rooting for Mahinda Rajapaksa did not want the Sri Lankan crises to go waste.
Narendra Modi’s government exclusively at the service of Adani and Ambani oligarchy in India recently had the Adani groups grab the strategic port terminal project in Colombo on September 30, 2021 titled Build Operate Transfer (BOT) pact.
‘The 35 year-long BOT agreement entitles the Adani Group majority stakes at 51%, while John Keells would hold 34% and the SLPA 15% per news reports verification.

The Indian and Sri Lankan news reports confirm the Indian government under Narendra Modi pitched the Sri Lankan BOT deal as Adani Ports and acquired the same using diplomatic extortions involving the Indian External Affairs Minister JaiShankar’s several visits to the capital Colombo to negotiate on Adani group’s behalf and favor.
The Sri Lankan government were hamstrung and subject to blackmail in the deal process according to the leading daily and sources on either side.
The news reports claim the deal nearly abandoned by Sri Lankan government due to protests from Sri Lankan population comprising port workers, unions, nationalists groups and Buddhist monks against selling national assets.

In addition to the Colombo port deal to Adani group, India’s ordinary citizens funded government dispensation under Narendra Modi were prodded by Adani to clinch the two large power projects in Sri Lanka’s northern province.

Revealing the details of the MoU, Sri Lanka’s weekend newspaper The Sunday Morning said the two renewable energy projects, involving the Adani Group, were aimed at generating combined capacity of 500 MW, at a cost of $ 500 million. Both projects are in the Northern Province, where New Delhi objected to a Chinese energy project last year, citing proximity to the Tamil Nadu coast.”

What is happening in Sri Lanka is synonymous to western invasion and occupation of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya and bifurcation of Sudan…in 2001, 2003, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014…etc. under the pretext of western liberation of these countries that were anything but liberty for the people of these targeted nations in the project for new american century (PNAC).
For example Afghanistan is rich in resources like copper, gold, oil, natural gas, uranium, bauxite, coal, iron ore, rare earths, lithium, chromium, lead, zinc, gemstones, talc, sulphur, travertine, gypsum and marble.
No wonder the central asian nation Afghanistan has been invaded by British imperialists to Former Soviet Union, then American and western NATO alliance, China and India in the last decade competing with each other through the so-called soft power – infrastructure gimmick.
Interestingly none heed lessons from the predecessors and the persisting curse on Afghanistan invaders and occupiers’ era ending with severe blow to imperialistic quest and economic liabilities in the season finale.
The western military invasion set the trail for looting and pillage of those nation’s treasure especially free oil stolen from Iraq, Syria and Libya or rich minerals from Afghanistan and uranium from Ukraine prior to Russian invasion on February 24, 2022 in plain public sight.
The tradition set precedence for others like China and Indian oligarchy to follow suit via customized piracy in their region like Sri Lanka and elsewhere.
With such western legacy and backdrop the reference gold digger nuanced at me as personal attack by unscrupulous billionaire club and alike is the weirdest obnoxious hypocrisy ad nauseam.
Nonetheless, the vexed and desperate Sri Lankan population storming the President’s palace in the last 24 hours demanding the resignation of the entire failed government beginning at the top President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, a U.S. Citizen installed by external and internal corrupt forces in power together with Prime Minister and others removal from office was expected sooner than later.
The public patience and endurance to tolerate government’s blatant abuse of power destroying economy by selling public owned national assets to private and foreign ownership thereby subjugating the nation and people to exploitative environment is the worst treason from any leadership against own citizens and country.
The public outbursts unfolding in Sri Lankan capital right now is the clarion call for corrupt regimes to step down from office and quit treasonous activities misinterpreting the so-called political capital against the electorate.
Sri Lanka is at the crossroads of regaining power to unified republic against corrupt feudalist fiduciary system having transformed the nation into a vassal state to China and Indian oligarchs and a banana republic in economic status.
The current developments and deterioration in Sri Lanka is the end product of massive internal and external collusion reminiscent of subverting developing and growth oriented economy into insolvency experienced by nations worldwide throughout twentieth and twenty first century.
The people power at times like these have demonstrated their determination to take control of the nation made possible upon chasing the raccoons raiding the domain.
Sri Lankan citizens reinstating constitutional governed democracy with transparency and accountability to the nation’s republic barring nepotism, political dynasty and importantly foreign interventions aimed at sabotage of political and economic prospects is the preliminary step towards rescue operation of the coastal state.

The former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s assassination in Japan is tragic and not conforming to peace and democracy maintained by Japan post world war 2.
There is no place for violence against anyone in any society. The individual or collective decision to take life of another depriving the victim due survival until natural death reflect the indulged disturbed mind with hatred in heart. Such action only burden the soul of those committing the crime besides enduring guilt in living and after their death.
I convey my sincere condolences to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s family and the people of Japan in the hour of grief and mourning with prayers for peace and stability in Japan and the region.
