The multinational corporation Monsanto known for manufacturing and distributing genetically modified food (GMO – genetically modified organisms) besides promoting growth hormones in animal husbandry viz. poultry and cattle farm in addition to chemical fertilizers and pesticides affecting health and environment has passed the dream bill (H.R.1599) in the House of Congress.

Monsanto’s Dream bill (H.R.1599) overrides the requirement for food industry to label items containing GMO and artificial substances in the product.

The food sector investments in lobbying Congress is aimed at removing mandatory labeling on food with GMO ingredients and continue the existing non-disclosure on GMO contained supply.

Several states in the United States has legislated compulsory GMO food labeling with some already in place while others expected to be effective in the immediate future.

Meanwhile, Monsanto involvement through H.R. 1599 on this issue deny consumer rights about GMO food sold in the marketplace for public consumption.

For any nation, economic growth is vital to improve the living conditions especially in countries with vast majority in abject poverty, hunger, disease and illiteracy suffering over generations for better life.

The economic development to address burgeoning issues like unemployment, inflation, local business opportunity, rural economy assisting farmers in the agricultural front rather than seizing farmland to benefit corporate donors funding election campaigns, affordable housing, healthcare and education would be constructive.

On the other hand, promoting foreign agenda on behalf of financial institutions having reputation in sinking economies leave population in debt slavery under the guise of progress.

The plan executed to benefit core members in the gambit exacerbating economic woes and myriad problems for the nation.

In terms of foreign investments in India – the reform pledges to attract multinational corporations (MNC) ventures conforms to neo-liberalization – the hallmark of hegemony global economy policy.

The fact of the matter is capital funding in a nation like India need not be derived from foreign source. 

India’s predicament is outbound capital flight through black money, assets held in offshore accounts and tax evasions amongst the rich, famous and powerful depleting state treasury.

Any financing from abroad in Indian economy is typically utilizing India’s due national revenue laden with interest paid by the people and shared between external and internal operatives behind hoarding money in tax havens and Swiss banks fostering money laundering.

The ruling power in India were to crackdown on corruption beginning with political establishment in black money recovery instead of clamping down on humanitarians and peace activists –Prime Minister Modi and delegations’ business oriented foreign trips expenditure could be divested in domestic economy.

However, the ruling government arrival in foreign land touting for Make in India while spending $2.5 billion in defense purchase increasing India’s recent military expense to $10 billion is a huge contradiction in action deviating from projection.

The political trend with leaderships desire to extend term in office guaranteed in cooperation with foreign defense industry representing the military industrial complex. The quid pro quo apparently slight electoral discretion.

United States corporations vying for investments in India or elsewhere ignore ailing economy and fairly high joblessness at home despite tax breaks and other incentives to revive manufacturing, retail and export market.

The two scenarios – India and United States economies require native production to curb job losses and restore economic activity across the spectrum unlike priority to disproportionate military disbursements.

Hegemony sponsored neo-liberalization seeking open end access for multinational companies  in foreign marketplace whether emerging or developing economy favor shareholders and key investors profiteering to global labor force and indigenous businesses detriment.

Public debate and scrutiny on government decisions pertaining to economy, political, social, environment and other related areas necessary to reinstate democracy.

Speaking from personal experience with hegemony and proxies’ misogynist outlook and condescendence – the strategy conforming to Taliban disdain for womanhood clarifies synergy between sponsors and operatives’ fundamentalism.

Women representing hegemony by and large delegated to counterproductive activities to undermine women status. The caricature of women through such portrayal reflects on the source degradation and defy human nature.

Hegemony and loyalists Taliban traits are prominent in defining code with respect to my lifestyle ranging from appearance to attire and customs imposing diktat having classified me as untouchable i.e. Dalit, illiterate, a Muslim, and simultaneously Hindutva notwithstanding satirized characters to promulgate their delusional decrepit ideology.

I am expected to tolerate the shenanigans otherwise condemned as playing victim game despite hegemony and stalwarts monumental hypocrisy.

On the contrary, the smile is not acceptable as well and subject to mockery for hegemony and hired agents involved in the self-effacing dilemma.

Similarly, India apparently independent nation regardless of dominion republic declaration clarifying non-termination of foreign rule prevalent in proxy governance.

Hegemony strategy premised on control over entire political establishment bid on all factions for win win situation in the so-called election with foreign and domestic illegal funding serving political office bearers, campaign donors and incognito rulers’ interests through beguiled electorate vote.

Indian elections attract donations from myriad sources creating prime time to liquidate black money not barring counterfeit notes printing to bribe voters besides overseas funders viz. Ford foundation, Saudi Arabia and alike involvement up until now.

The political system with prominent political parties at the national and regional level forging alliances alternate positions as ruling and opposition while maintaining agenda to protect each other from accountability on corruption and criminality.

Tax revenues become personal wealth and used to gain political mileage.

For better understanding – the two major political parties Congress and BJP cited in the example.

In hegemony political screen play, direction and production – the common scheme is developing poster-figure (poster-boy) to camouflage duplicity.

With Congress Party – hegemony choice to head Indian government was former World Bank member and economist Dr. Manmohan Singh promoted as Mr. Honest and Mr. Clean later turned out to be otherwise in Coalgate scam and remaining oblivious in 2G spectrum scandal.

Organized crime syndicate funneled financial institutions under Congress Party chief Sonia Gandhi and UPA finance minister P. Chidambaram not to mention BJP complicity considering inaction as chief opposition sums up political collusion. 

Cash for votes not only on campaign trail but also extended in Parliament with BJP theatrical performance in an effort to absolve responsibility is a serious blow to democracy.

Congress survival rocked not from BJP or any other political group strength.  In fact, the self-inflicted damages with massive corruption unfolding despite political parties and hegemony owned media cover up, the fox could no longer hide in sheep’s clothing scenario emerged on Congress and allies’ corruption deals paving the way for hegemony alternative – BJP and coalition.

BJP – Bharatiya Janata Party with British Raj fostered RSS also dating back to colonial era like Congress is hegemony’s other wing.

On the contrary, the political circle and everyone connected to them depleting national income and thriving on taxpayers funded salary and privileges not excluding sprawling mansions live discreet life cloaked in secrecy when they deserve to be on public radar.

In other activities placing the gun on other’s shoulders unleashing provocative and inflammatory sentiments is a cowardly gesture and do not necessarily safeguard the façade for what lies underneath is explicit in legacy and ongoing trend.

All actions have serious repercussions without exception.

Indian Parliament Monsoon session stymied and pronounced complete washout in the domestic front and foreign affairs – the critical high level talks between nuclear neighbors India and Pakistan – National Security Advisors meeting cancellation explains the lack of initiatives and misplaced priority.

Farmers plight with suicides that began in Congress fronted UPA duration escalated at present and war veterans hunger strike to receive fair pensions initially resisted authorizing police intervention to disperse peaceful assembly.

Modi Sarkar or government dubbed Mercantile Modi not without reasons with India’s wealthiest and leading industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani exerting influence and their delegations regularly accompany PM overseas tour.

Indian political structure adapts United States political pattern with Wall Street drafting legislations through intense lobbying alongside special interests like AIPAC, NRA, religious zealots and institutions for imperial aspirations remaining firm on their respective ideology much to national and international detriment.

Viewing through Indian prism, the political parties predominantly represent the rich, famous and powerful in society.

NDA and BJP trust deficit with Muslim community in India stems from Gujarat and Ayodhya incidents no less than counterpart Congress response towards Sikhs and Sri Lankan Tamils aiding previous Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksha brutal crackdown following former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajeev Gandhi assassination.

Similarly, British colonial power produced Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt projected as Islamic fundamentalists while aiding and abetting the rise of Muslim Brotherhood behind the scenes to serve colonial agenda.

Not surprisingly Muslim Brotherhood refrained from participation in Egypt uprising against Western ally – the dictatorial regime of ex-President Hosni Mubabarak in Tehrir Square, Cairo in 2011.

RSS chief – interestingly named Bhagwat in the backdrop of goddess Durga banner referring to Indian caste classification as Indian family system proclaimed the degenerative practice – Akshunn interpreted as unbroken and Takat (power) of Hindu Samaj (society).

In fact, the society crafted caste pyramid is proved Apshakun i.e. bad omen and  b weakness not power derailing social progress notwithstanding contradiction in India’s status as thriving secular democracy.

Unfortunately, the great souls sacrifice pledging their life for the country now squandered with reversal of action amongst political class nationwide.

The nation is under siege with foreign exerted authority in proxy governance fostering corruption culture.

Criminal background and series of violations among political office bearers is hardly a concern including deliberate misrepresentation and contradictory disclosure on credentials in sworn affidavit during elections misleading electorate – the conduct ordinarily deemed perjury punishable by law instead rewarded with cabinet post mocking democracy.

The political assertion in crackdown on black money exempt self and core members deflecting civic attention from them in artful maneuver.

The political tactic linking religion and divine connotations besides contemporary practice imputing failures and negativities to targeted opponent whilst being gratuitous – hogging undue credits from the respective entity hard work and good deeds clarifies opportunism ad nauseam.

Imitation of positive attributes interpreted as flattery.  However, the gesture without acknowledgment of origin is forgery.

The innuendoes depicting discriminatory indulgence is a futile exercise and explanations in this context are farcical.

The unabated custom using caste and communalism for political mileage delineates those following antiquated hierarchy from human race.

Human being innate quality is to be humane transcending man made barriers with refrainment from societal prejudice. The resistance to acceptance and equality is civilization decline.

Condescendence and marginalization of others is reflective of internal decay. The overture on backward class is nothing more than mindset backwardness prompting insolence.  

Polarization through indoctrination is political strategy inherited from dominant forces much to sponsors and catalysts detriment.

As for anyone restricting access to worshippers in temples on caste or religion bias is essentially isolating themselves from divine grace.

The pure spirit with sincere devotion and relevantly selfless actions to humanity attains God’s blessings with or without affiliation to faith.

Temples are common premise and not personal property.  Such orientation is ignorance at best and pejorative at worst in religious concept.

In fact, God is realized within upon freedom from ego, envy, greed and hatred…the vices undermining reasoning faculty.

Furthermore, Lord Murugan aka Shanmugam or Karthik’s consort Valli is from gypsy tribe secluded in society as untouchables and backward sect.

Lord Murugan – the son of God Shiva and Shakti revered as Tamil and Hindu deity marriage to daughter from gypsy clan establish relations with not only Shiv Parivar (God Shiva’s Family) but also Lord Vishnu – Ranganathan as Murugan’s uncle.

This is indeed a dilemma for those upholding caste and creed as determining factor for superiority.

The society reluctance to abolish caste and segregation of God’s children being reality, the ostentatious religious rites and ceremony allude to commercial activity notwithstanding disingenuous pious disposition.

Human value evaluated on character and sacrifice to uplift lives for pervasive benefit facilitating proximity to God.

The veneration of God lacking in fairness, egalitarianism, love and respect towards all is redundant and fulfilled for self-satisfaction.

On the issue of Swach Bharat – relieving the nation from corruption and political manipulation of justice would clear pathway for holistic approach.

The initiative beginning with Parliament members implicated on corruption charges and their overt as well as covert connections to unscrupulous elements brought to public scrutiny in national domain would provide credibility.

Clean environment made possible with corruption free governance and political representation.

After all household trash disposed on to main street contributing to unhealthy and life threatening conditions cannot be contained in the absence of effective measures to efface unnatural cause.

Swach Bharat would be meaningful with swach sarkaar (clean governance) comprising political power in the ruling and opposition defining political identity.

Tamil Nadu AIADMK government irresponsible course in massive  intoxication of citizens with statewide liquor shops and state authorized violence against peaceful dissent to alcohol booths resulting in deaths and ruining families is culpable inflicting deliberate harm and suicides among citizenry. The government intentional damage is a criminal act with misuse of authority and disqualify the functionary as reliable administration to safeguard people interest.

The classic signs of proxy governance throughout India pledged allegiance to dissipating supremacy are political jargons – hindutva, backward caste, dalit, DR. Ambedkar, ‘rebel’ Subash Chandra Bose not barring the accused in criminal matter.

These are desperate times seeking disasters expediting inevitable conclusion of Dark Age.

India’s liberation from the corrupt and destructive external control with internal operatives committing treason significant to curtail indefinite suppression.

Environment – Challenges and Solutions

There are far too many challenges with few steps against climate change.

The procrastination on climate treaty with effective policy from major contributors of pollution is a serious threat to humanity.

Any positive development requires collective actions for air and water are the two main elements enabling life on planet.

The blue sky and ocean are no longer clear with smoke clouds from carbon emission and repeat incidents of oil spills, subterranean nuclear testing, missile programs to strengthen nuclear capability inflicting massive damages to life and livelihoods in coastal areas and all around beyond recovery.

The global warming leading to ozone depletion in atmosphere affecting seasons and melting glaciers causing sea level to rise endangering marine lives with species becoming rare and extinct not to mention the ultimate impact on ecological balance.

Natural disasters cannot be assessed as natural and triggered by environment neglect and abuse ranging from off shore and shallow water drilling including hydro fracking for oil to mountain top removal in coal mining and other fossil fuel related excavations and explorations proved destructive.

The pursuits attributed to growing energy demand also tied to profitability like in coal mining industry with political members’ direct involvements as stakeholders raking huge financial gains ignore environment woes and options for renewal energy in particular.

Although there are many environment groups and organizations tirelessly engaged in containing industrial and political combined anti-environment undertakings, the greed motivated strategy continues unabated with little or no concern for apparent environment degradation.

The powerful energy sector – fossil fuel and nuclear industry despite catastrophic events viz. Fukushima prioritize political and economic opportunity at environment and population expense.

There is no doubt that energy is essential to fuel economy and maintain machine age.  However, the investments in natural sources like sun, wind and water that are in abundance somehow not appealing stifling alternative energy supply emergence.

In contrary procurement of fossil fuel especially oil desirable expending taxpayer funds in invasion and occupation of nations rich in oil and mineral resources leaving further economic, environment, political and social problems in the destinations.

The military interventions whether conventional or sponsoring terrorism to destabilize nations and regions with constant use of arsenals and explosives laden cluster munitions dropped in Yemen right now substituting land mines are devastating to victims – mostly children and other civilians in the war zone.

Wars around the world with overt and disguised use of nuclear components augment environment deterioration.

The trend funding political campaigns for vested interests form governments to suit donors’ agenda via legislations and disregard consequences exacerbating economy and environment.

Solutions to energy needs are divestments in alternative energy – clean energy like solar, wind and hydropower projects suitable to vast majority of developed and developing nations in terms of affordability and minimum to zero maintenance in operation for end user.

The current dilemma to meet emerging economies energy demand could be addressed in promoting reduction in energy consumption with more awareness on the issue.

Small approach often eases the situation resulting in economic prudence.

The replacement of existing incandescent light bulbs with energy efficient light emitting diodes (LED) lights is incremental pace towards conservation.  

The household appliances such as refrigerators, washer and dryer…and electronic devices conforming to low power absorption and high in performance would allow energy saving.  The consumer responsibility in adjusting usage and smart exercise equally important to decrease energy wastage.

Another critical measure is to broaden and modernize public transportation like buses, metros and subways for convenient access.

The campaign urging commuters to avail these facilities providing low fares as incentives would attract large numbers boosting revenue.

Traffic congestion and weak environment standards like absence of mandatory smog control in emerging economies is a health hazard with ripple effects on economy deterring tourism and business venture.

Recycling is an age old practice in developing nations serving as survival means for demography in impoverished and lower economic strata. The mechanism to operate recycling plant and waste management is yet to be fully developed and deployed for maximum benefit.

Water scarcity and distribution is ongoing global crisis. The harvesting and irrigation techniques in agriculture reaching farmers in near and remote areas is key to self-sufficiency and satisfying hunger.

In urban and rural areas –  water storage during monsoon and reutilization of water with investments in purification would minimize water shortage.

The wealthy states in the Middle East diversion from aiding terrorism to constructive projects like desalination would transform arid desert lands for cultivation.

Preserving rain forests and reefs in ocean beds from commercial activities is paramount for life linked with natural food pyramid.

Ordinarily planting trees and expanding greenery oxygenate surroundings in the nature designed conversion of carbon dioxide.

Summarizing on environment matter – setting targets on carbon emission and compliance on environment regulations in addition to departure from fossil fuel with commitment to natural energy – solar, wind and water sourced power is the gateway to free the world from oil dependency.

The nuclear energy evidently not always meant for civilian programs and deviation from the objective towards nuclear weapons status is the reason behind contemporary nuclear proliferation.

Again unless there is complete and comprehensive nuclear disarmament beginning with P5+1 and other nuclear states – the environment and biodiversitys face imminent risks with preference for confrontation over peaceful resolutions escalating global tensions and volatility.

Arriving at consensus on climate accord is incumbent on industrialized and emerging economies to release the burden on developing and island nations experiencing enormous losses due to extreme weather conditions and lack of technology as well as logistic support.

The environment awardees names for 2015 Vishwa Kalyaan (VK) Award i.e. Universal Benefit Award will be published subsequent to official declaration on recipients of Health category award.
