Israel’s Rejection of UNSC Resolution

Israel’s Rejection of UNSC Resolution

Padmini Arhant

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s adamant rejection of the latest UNSC resolution on Gaza immediate ceasefire combined with international community call to end Gaza Genocide in the past six months is a grave decision exacerbating hostage crisis and Israel’s present and future security.

The Israeli PM Netanyahu’s stance to discard international law, global citizens solidarity against incessant military intervention in Gaza proven detrimental and led to isolation of Israel by international community.

Furthermore, Israel’s disregard and disrespect for life especially children systematically targeted since October 7, 2023 till date has not helped in any aspect rather revealed Israel’s unacceptable violent conduct in direct contradiction to civilized modern culture.

Israel’s actions have diminished prospects and possibility of rescuing 130 or less Israeli hostages due to Israel and allies aided air raids, bombing, air strikes and critically blocking humanitarian aid to the people in the war zone that included Israeli hostages evidently losing their life from lack of survival needs imposed by Israeli leadership and the politics inflicted devastating human starvation.

Israeli PM Netanyahu justifying Gaza Genocide of over 32,000 innocent civilians among whom more than 15,000 are children martyred in the gruesome merciless bombing and shelling of their homes and public facilities on world watch and,

The key allies coalition in the indiscriminate slaughter of lives in Gaza since October 7 until now to free 130 or less Israeli hostages is by any definition abominable and unforgivable criminal offense including war crime in denying food, water and medicine etc., amid carrying out relentless military aggression.

Israeli leadership and selective members in Likud party designed Nazi concentration camp style forceful displacement of Palestinians in Rafah with plan for further military action against 1.5 million population is neither going to help the hostage situation nor fortify Israel’s security now or in the foreseeable future.

The doomed reality is entirely due to Israeli politics misguided gross miscalculation of aggression, violence and forced starvation among other atrocities carried out so far somehow going to turn the outcome in aggressors favor when the events are exponentially altering the status quo.

Israel and coalition determination to eliminate every child, man, woman, living breathing life in Gaza around 1.5 million population forcefully evacuated towards Rafah with plan for military action against them in the confined designated zone is already having reverse impact within Israel.

The rift between Orthodox Jews conscription declined by Likud party faction of orthodox members and the general civilian conscripts increasingly replaced with not necessarily of Jewish descent or orientation signify the exodus of Israelis avoiding draft and importantly prolonged warfare confronted with retaliation from pro-Palestinian forces in the region.

Israeli PM Netanyahu war strategy from day 1 until now is a colossal failure.

Above all Israel’s belligerence and intense violence in the last six months until now hold own population and defense force hostage to military invasion against Gaza and the rest of Palestine, the setting is well and beyond the scope of far-fetched Israeli political goals.

Besides, prohibiting the imminent release of 130 or few hostages in Hamas custody that is possible upon compliance with the current UNSC resolution commencing immediate lasting ceasefire.

It is easier for individuals such as the head of the state to remain obstinate on the flawed principles and failed policy using foreign taxpayer money relevantly American taxpayers funds against the majority will and dissent together with deploying forces recruited from inside and outside while having dispatched own eligible family members to safe haven overseas like the United States protecting them from harms way.

That says a lot about politics caring about their citizens and the state they tout as being the priority in the obvious misplaced priority refusing peace at the cost of lives at home and the targeted territory.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu using own citizens, defense personnel and hostages with Hamas as pawns in the war game only guaranteed to deliver self-expedited exit from power already sought by disillusioned Israeli citizens and the families of hostages in particular tired of being deprived reunion with the release of their family members by ending the Gaza war.

The opportunity knocks on the door once or twice. The same deliberately turned down overwhelmed by folly and hubris only leads to undesirable outcome perhaps even irreversible by choice.

Peace to Free Palestine

Peace to Free Palestine

Padmini Arhant

No Ceasefire – No taxes for bombs and violence against innocent children and civilian population. Stop funding wars, depopulation and ethnic cleansing.

Is this Israel’s definition of the so-called self-defense backed by the United States against majority American taxpayers and electorate will?

The former ex-minister of justice (?) in Israel elaborating the grand sports arena plan for soccer field in Gaza citing God’s help is gross misconception.

God and humans alike humane in nature vehemently oppose the preposterous illegal land seizure in and around the region, the controversial legacy by Israel since establishment in 1948 on Palestine.

FYI – Western and coalition with Israel – the politics and media in particular feigning naïveté on the developments in Palestine besides Israel and partners joint ongoing graveyard mission in Gaza i.e. Genocide and blatant crimes against Palestinians are the following.

At the onset and thereafter October 7, 2023 setting the stage for United States funded Israel’s onslaught in Gaza,

The series of events on Israel – Palestine issue is fundamentally facilitated by Israel’s apartheid via illegal occupation, colonization and settlements in the continued 75 years of human rights abuse.

The latest Hamas taking Israeli hostages on Oct 7, 2023 made possible by Israeli leadership Benjamin Netanyahu, the IDF and Israeli intelligence ignoring adequate warnings from within and outside Israel.

Juxtaposed, Israel’s abduction and incarceration of over 6000 or more Palestinian minors and youth both men and women locked up without due process barring family and legal contacts for nearly and / or over a decade holding these detainees in inhumane manner in Israel’s Guantanamo bay setting in fact serving as the prototype for United States Guantanamo Bay on Cuban island is perhaps not a subject matter for the western media and politics backing Israel’s apartheid while condemning anyone determined by western politics as rogue regimes in the rest of the world.

Relevantly, in the course of half-hearted measly seven days truce after intense international pressure and global citizens outcry for ceasefire – slighted with Israel’s resumption of Gaza bombing and air strikes at United States approval,

The exchange of Hamas held hostages and Israel imprisoned Palestinian minors as young as ten-year-old and younger and men and women youth detainees in Israeli prison – the disparity is alarming.

For every Israeli hostage released by Hamas,

Israel’s response to freeing Palestinian youth was outnumbered by Israeli authorities simultaneous apprehension of Palestinian youth an estimate of nearly 3,500 in Jenin and West Bank subsequent to October 7, 2023.

Israel’s Zionist Nazi policy of human rights violations in the Palestinian territory not in Hamas governance rather under Israel’s control including Gaza and East Jerusalem i.e. entire Israel occupied Palestine merit serious global attention and discussion.

The illegal detention of Palestinians in all prisons to be released unconditionally without further deterrence and delay.

Such atrocities have no place in human society lacking moral humanitarian and ethical principles by a state touted as the only democracy in the Middle East.

Notwithstanding the sheer contrast in treatment of Israeli hostage by Hamas accounted by the released Israeli hostages as kind and hospitable providing food, water and essential needs unlike Israel’s abuse of Palestinian detainees in Israel’s prison verifiable in Israel denying food, water, medicines, electric power, internet service much to international denouncement since October 7, 2023 till date is in sync with Israel’s long held siege of Gaza with unilateral blockade and deprivation of basic facilities to the people in Gaza.

Israel’s ban on released Israeli hostages from speaking to own Israeli radio, television and social media on Hamas hospitality to Israeli hostages speak volume on who is who in the human rights violations.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claiming credit for the Israeli hostages release during interim truce absolving self from responsibility conversely blaming IDF top authority entirely aroused internal fireworks in the cause and effects of Oct 7, 2023.

The incident serving as the premise for the Gaza war despite Israel’s ulterior unlawful expansionism openly divulged by Israel’s political members from all sides of political party clarify state of affairs.

Last but not the least, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated goal on Gaza – elimination of Hamas until now proved as ethnic cleansing of innocent children, women, youth, elderly, the sick and the able…comprising the Palestinian community and forceful displacement of over million Gazan, West Bank and Jenin residents into refugee camps apparently is just the beginning of the broader agenda revealed in the public statements directly from the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in the above visual content.

Amidst Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the PM appointed war cabinet extensive war plan against Gaza pledged in the video and public discourse by the Israeli leadership with little or no care for any human lives – not only Palestinian civilians,

The extended warfare involves the conscripted young Israeli IDF personnel in the battle ground in Gaza already many of whom fallen victims together with some remaining Israeli hostages in Israeli air strikes and indiscriminate aerial bombing as well as in the ground combat situation.

There are some IDF senior command officers reported by Israeli media as having absconded from the battle field due to hostile conditions in the United States’ financed and militarily bolstered Israel bombardment in Gaza.

Obviously, the situation is grim and grave in general for all in the collective punishment strategy by Israel and United States as the primary ally along with others complicit in the humanitarian crisis bearing heavily on Israel in the process of punishing Gazan and Palestinian citizens in entirety.

The poignant question to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is –

Where is the Prime Minister’s next of kintwo sons and a daughter missing in action with abstinence from the battle?

With one of them relocated from Israel to the United States to evade libel suit at home.

Meanwhile, the PM Benjamin Netanyahu determined to prolong deadly war on Gaza calling 360,000 reservists since October 7, 2023 deploying conscripted and commissioned IDF personnel – (the family members of Israeli citizens) on the ground and air as inevitable casualties in the senseless military aggression.

That’s politics protecting own life and members of the family with the rest of the society expected to fall in line for wayward political aspirations in the conspicuous self-defense from corruption scandals and political upheaval confronting the Israeli Prime Minister and family.

Above all, the American taxpayer is delegated to foot the bill on the warfare to satisfy the egregious ill-conceived transparent Israel’s objectives in defiance of any and all laws that are otherwise applicable to others in the world.

Israel – War and Aggression over Peace

September 17, 2022

Israel – War and Aggression over Peace

Padmini Arhant

Israel latest bombing of Syria and ongoing occupation with oppression and persecution of Palestinians is proved counterproductive.

The nuclear Israel claimed the only democratic state in the Middle East hopelessly relying on aggression and violence to exert political stance delivered nothing but tensions and hostility.

Citing historic events going back several thousands of years in relentless propaganda in justification of the present Israeli acrimony is futile. Furthermore no nation or society based on race, religion and any convenient denominations could impose malevolence over current population who are not responsible for the past humanitarian crimes against any particular sect or demography.

Unfortunately, the trend not unique to Israel alone.

As a matter of fact the position prevalent in the so-called world’s largest democracy Indian ruling government preaching peace but not practicing in reality is the irony. The grudge against specific segment i.e. muslims in India over centuries old Mughal invasion and aftermath serve ideological discriminatory agenda driven towards a majoritarian statehood.

Similarly Indian government foreign policy monetizing Russian invasion from cheap oil imports essentially boosting Russian carnage of Ukraine with thousands of lives violated while sporting peace badge is an insult to injury for the victims in the prolonged warfare.

Again the western Europe viz. Germany, Austria, Finland…prominently and eastern Europe EU member Hungary defiance in energy dependence on Russia economically finance Russia’s war on Ukraine.

The western Europe strategy ignore own security stake in the complex trade and military engagement with and against Russia at Ukraine’s expense. Notwithstanding the security volatility for the rest of  Europe.

The political catharsis expose self and vested interests in the make- believe public disposition.

Likewise Israel favoring Russian invasion of Ukraine rejecting Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky’s televised plea to Israeli Kenesseth mocked upon the reference the final solution the Nazis sought to enforce on the Jews paralleled to Russia’s ambitions for Ukraine.

Israel’s defense contrarily the offense foreign policy as major weapons supplier to war zones arming brutal regimes earlier in Sri Lanka in 2009 against unarmed Tamil civilians or the indefinite bloodshed in Yemen with United States and Israel as key military arsenal providers to Saudi Arabia and coalition extending the never ending Yemen turmoil are not mere defense trade involvement.

Israel funding, weaponizing and facilitating medical treatment to terror outfits with synonymous accusations on Iran and Turkey in the onslaught on Syria is anything but peace seeking democratic norm.

Syrians and the population in the middle east including Israelis in Israel are forced to endure militarized environment in the continuous bombing and shelling of the region.

Israel’s non-military yet direct human rights violation also brought to light in the sale and distribution of the controversial spyware Pegasus and alike to governments and desperate despots anywhere.

The cyber weapons procurement under the guise of espionage activities against terror groups widely deployed targeting civilians like journalists, authors and political critics bear evidence in the anti-humanitarian and anti-democratic values of the state of Israel and the so-called democratic patrons.

In the strange political dynamics, Israeli politics forging alliance with Arab political factions to gain political majority in Kenesseth somehow not pursued in Israeli – Palestinian peace process. The political will to mend ties and form coalition for position of power and authority not necessarily desired in the art of peace and freedom for all as basic human right.

The pragmatic approach to live and let others live in peace for collective progress and prosperity in the meager lifetime of all human beings is ominously missing in politics and policy-making fueling death and destruction as the only means of survival and dominance.

Such principle against conventional wisdom eye for an eye turning the world blind apparently not even a concern amongst those confusing mirage for oasis in the desert.

Reiterating earlier statement elaborated in Israel-Palestine Peace Treaty on this website, Israel’s peace, security and stability lies on recognition of Palestinian statehood with sovereignty and independence to Palestinians in the over seven decades of occupation and repression denying civil rights and dignified existence.

Upon peace-making with independent Palestine, Israel’s relation with neighbors especially Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq and others would normalize on the horizon.

Never too late to choose the path of peace and solidarity renouncing endless enmity and antipathy.

Middle East Peace Plan 2020

February 7, 2020

Middle East Peace Plan 2020

Padmini Arhant

Middle East Peace Plan – Israel and United States presented the latest proposal as

Deal of the Century.

Review and Solutions.

The Middle East peace plan key points deviates from the path of peace and instead legitimize illegitimate occupation of Palestine and annexation of other territories by Israel following Israel’s six days aggression in 1967 and unlawful settlements in West Bank, Palestine until now.

Nonetheless, the peace plan with appropriate recommendations and solutions furnished for mutually reasonable and acceptable peace treaty.

Deal of the Century (DC) bullet points:

DC: Borders Israel will retain 20% of the West Bank and will lose a small amount of land in the Negev near the Gaza-Egypt border. The Palestinians will have a pathway to a state in the vast majority of territory in the West Bank, while Israel will maintain control of all borders.

Correction and Solution: West Bank is Palestinian territory with unlawful settlements against international laws attracting global dissent. Accordingly, the area to remain part of Palestine under Palestinian jurisdiction and authority. The settlers are to be provided an option to either return to destinations of their origin/choice or seek legal resident status subject to Palestinian authorities approval. Palestinians would have free access to their state in West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem. The Palestinians elected government would deploy their own security forces and personnel on their borders while Israel would maintain only Israel’s borders in recognition of Palestinian and neighbors sovereignty and territorial rights respectively.

DC: Jerusalem: The Palestinians will have a capital in east Jerusalem based on northern and eastern neighborhoods that are outside the Israeli security barrier – Kafr Akab, Abu Dis and half of Shuafat. Otherwise, United States President Donald Trump said Jerusalem will remain undivided as Israel’s capital.

Correction and Solution: Palestinians capital in East Jerusalem entailing all Palestinian neighborhoods and specifically Al aqsa mosque would be Palestinian territory. Any other suggestion on Jerusalem as undivided Israel’s capital is contentious for following reasons.

Israel’s claim on undivided Jerusalem regardless of the holy city’s relevance to other faiths Islam and  Christianity besides Judaism not excluding non-believers and other segments from across the region is over ambitious notwithstanding Israel’s militarization of Islam’s Al aqsa mosque, the second most revered place of worship and demolition of Palestinian homes in East Jerusalem proved counterproductive thus far.

DC: Settlements: Israel will retain the Jordan Valley and all Israeli settlements in the West Bank in the broadest definition possible, meaning not the municipal borders of each settlement but their security perimeters. This also includes 15 isolated settlements, which will be enclaves within an eventual Palestinian state. Within those settlements Israel will not be able to build for the next four years. The IDF will have access to the isolated settlements. For the settlement part of the plan to go into effect, Israel will have to take action to apply sovereignty to the settlements, which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he plans to do at the upcoming cabinet meeting on Sunday.

Correction and Solution: Jordan Valley and the northern Dead Sea representing more than 30% of West Bank with majority approximately 65,000 Palestinians compared to 11,000 Jewish settlers living there. Furthermore, the valley long been the significant land reserve for Palestinians would constitute Palestinian territory. All settlements within West Bank and in the region would be Palestinian state territory. Palestine would be governed by Palestinian elected government with the territories monitored and defended by Palestinian security personnel. All settlement activities before, now or in the near future in West Bank and other Palestinian territories qualified as encroachment would fall under Palestinian jurisdiction related to property and real estate laws in Palestinian land. The withdrawal of Israel Defense Force (IDF) from Palestinian Territories beginning with West Bank, East Jerusalem and near Gaza i.e. inside Palestine is critical for any peace process to be sincere, serious and above all genuine. The foreign government viz. Israeli authorities action on sovereignty on illegal settlements would be null and void.

DC: Security: Israel will be in control of security from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. The IDF will not have to leave the West Bank. No change to Israel’s approach to Judea and Samaria would be needed.

Correction and Solution: Reiterating above mentioned facts on recognition of sovereignty, territorial integrity and rights that are in adherence as international law in most parts of the world, similar situation would apply to Palestinian state and the state of Israel confined to own respective boundaries and borders which means Palestinian security forces would be responsible and in control of the West Bank and Palestinian territory and vice versa.

With respect to Judea and Samaria – Since the reference Judea and Samaria is Israeli government’s term for administrative control over occupied West Bank, the termination of foreign rule and influence on sovereign state i.e. Palestine would be natural and inherent part of the deal.

DC: Palestinian state: The plan does not include immediate recognition of a Palestinian state; rather, it expects a willingness on Israel’s part to create a pathway toward Palestinian statehood based on specific territory, which is about 70% of Judea and Samaria, including areas A and B and parts of Area C. The state will only come into existence in four years if the Palestinians accept the plan, if the Palestinian Authority stops paying terrorists and inciting terrorism and if Hamas and Islamic Jihad put down their weapons. In addition, the American plan calls on the Palestinians to give up corruption, respect human rights, freedom of religion and a free press, so that they don’t have a failed state. If those conditions are met, the US will recognize a Palestinian state and implement a massive economic plan to assist it.

Correction and Solution: The recognition of an independent Palestinian State barring foreign nations viz. Israel or any other state intrusion, interference in administrative governance, security and all other matter deemed internal and related to Palestinian population affairs and welfare would be instantaneously effective. The establishment of Palestinian statehood and self-determination rights with requirement on withdrawal of foreign viz. Israel’s occupation and deployment of troops as well as administrative authority in West Bank and other Palestinian Territories such as Gaza and East Jerusalem to commence immediately preventing any unnecessary delay and procrastination in this regard.

Once again, Palestinian territory elaborated with respect to all areas pertaining to West Bank i.e. Israeli government reference Judea and Samaria, East Jerusalem and Gaza would be returned in entirety conforming to meaningful and authentic peace accord.

Violence and terrorism to cease on all sides enabling youth and citizens in Palestine and Israel to co-exist in peace. Additionally, the peaceful outcome aimed at long overdue economic progress and development among Palestinians would promote unity and harmony between the two states otherwise wasting time and resources in politically motivated tensions and confrontation.

As for the American plan calling on the Palestinians to give up corruption, respect human rights, freedom of religion and a free press, so that they don’t have a failed state – this is a universal problem in varying proportions and prevalent more so in governments espousing fundamental values with utter disregard for constitution and democratic principles affecting the idea of democracy, individual freedom on religion, free speech and free press endangering normal existence that could lead to any nation’s failure. Not to mention corruption, a global epidemic in politics with widespread impact on integral systems in society.

The political consciousness and remedy to eliminate corruption is applicable without exception to all nations and governments in power as well as opposition for a corruption free system prioritizing transparency and accountability exempting none above law.

DC: Refugees: A limited number of Palestinian refugees and their descendants will be allowed into the Palestinian state. None will enter Israel.

Correction and Solution: This is a matter concerning Palestinian people and their independent nation granting them exclusive discretionary power to approach the humanitarian issue best suited to their economic and social conditions. Though Palestinian refugees and descendants having been forced to leave their native land exercising the right to return to Palestinian state would not be uncommon in semblance to Israel’s policy inviting Jewish citizens from anywhere to Israel.

DC: Triangle: The plan leaves open the possibility that Israel will swap the area known as the “Triangle” – consisting of Kafr Kara, Arara, Baka al-Gharbiya, Umm el-Fahm and more – into the future Palestinian state. According to the plan, “the Vision contemplates the possibility, subject to agreement of the parties, that the borders of Israel will be redrawn such that the Triangle Communities become part of the State of Palestine.”

Correction and Solution: Israel’s preparedness to swap areas known as the “Triangle” is welcome. The plan transforming the possibility to eventuality in the above enunciated manner is paramount. Once again the peace plan in the corrected format with eligible solutions is a great opportunity towards sustainable peace and security to both Israel and Palestine. Not only the citizens in Palestine and Israel deserve peace and stability, the regional experience is pertinent for global peace and security.

The political will on this historic peaceful resolution ending the prolonged Middle East conflict is the responsibility of political leaderships and society in Israel and Palestine demonstrating commitment to an independent sovereign Palestinian state alongside sovereign state of Israel forging normal relations benefitting in trade, cultural, education, technology, environment and more enhancing comprehensive gains.

Hopefully, rationality and wisdom would prevail in accepting the accord for long lasting peace, economic growth and prosperity desired by the citizens in Palestine and Israel.

The amended peace plan fruition could further benefit Israel in bringing the ongoing domestic political stalemate to conclusion.

Thank you.

Tolerance

Padmini Arhant

In the narcissist world, what is good for some is not necessarily the same for the rest. Tolerance like everything else is reserved only towards selective creed in society. Ironically, the same segment crying foul on anything regarded prejudice unabashedly commit horrific crimes against population deemed weak, vulnerable and dispensable to them. The selective policy makers need to spare tolerance from other issues like evading taxes, amassing fame, fortune and power that are treated exclusive to them. One has to practice what they demand of others. Treat others the way you want to be treated by them.

Respect life in general.

Fact Check on Jewish Status

August 5, 2018

Fact Check on Jewish Status

Padmini Arhant

Jack Rosen, an American lobbyist and Chairman of the powerful American Jewish Congress. Apart from being a lobbyist, the 69-year-old CEO of Rosen Partners, Jack Rosen is a board member of Altimo – a British Virgin Island (BVI) company that is the telecom investment arm of Russia’s Alfa Group consortium. It has investment interests in Russia, Central Asia, Middle East and Bangladesh.

A Wikipedia entry for Mr Jack Rosen says he has advocated for Jewish and Israeli causes stating. “We are living in a post-Holocaust era and the forces that provided for a safe and secure Israel are changing. We have to look at what the future holds and have to use all the skills we’ve learned in America and that are available to us to ensure security for Jews around the world”, says the internet information portal.

The Israeli and Jewish advocacy in politics, judiciary, economy, academic institutions and entertainment industry alarmed over alleged threats to Israel and Jewish population are unfounded in the contemporary age.

The events in the twentieth century affected many different race, religion and ethnic background. The brutality of human character reflected in ethnic cleansing and colonization continues unabated until today. Accordingly, the atrocities inflicted on one race that was preexisting with others long before in the course of imperialism in different parts of the world cannot be neglected in history as there were tremendous loss of lives from horrific violence and mass subjugation. Jewish plight could be one aspect among massive crimes committed against humanity at that time.

However, in the twenty first century the claims on threat to Jews and Israel especially with Israel being a nuclear state is unsubstantiated and propagated without legitimacy on such allegations.

The reverse impact on those experiencing Israel’s overt and covert operations in many sites across the border and other locations in the Middle East as well as elsewhere is consistent and relentless with no political will to peaceful resolutions. Any peace proposals are stymied allowing Israeli ideologues to intensify human rights violations attracting global condemnation. Israeli authorities sponsoring terrorism is evidenced in the treatment of terrorists in the Syrian conflict and preparing the terror outfits to reposition in the war against Syrian people.

Jewish dominance in every sector beginning with politics in the United States, Britain, France, Russia, Eastern Europe, Middle East, South Asia, Latin America and worldwide cannot be underestimated as a result of  Jewish lobby.

The technology viz. Facebook, Twitter, Wikipedia to name a few have clear access to private details of public proven in the recent Facebook scandal harvesting and monetization of consumer data using these platforms. There are tech giants in disguise whose profile leads to Jewish origin.

Besides, the pervasive position in the economy, the stock market and finance in particular evident in the private entityThe Federal Reserve designed and executed monetary policy of the United States of America. The treasury activities of the United States routinely target selective adversaries for sanctions to maintain status quo.

The private organization Federal Reserve poised as the United States Federal Monetary authority appointed Chairperson (male and female) thus far are invariably of Jewish descent.

The academic institutions like Ivy league in the United States and other private educational establishments pledge allegiance to Jewish cause.

Judiciary is yet another branch with majority Jewish representation.

The think tanks, political foundations, communication media, press such as The New York Times, Bloomberg, Financial Times attend secret society meeting and sworn to secrecy on decisions at this undemocratic conclave.

In terms of intelligence apparatus, Israeli Mossad, US CIA, Britain’s MI5 and MI6 are regarded one in safeguarding Israeli interests globally by any means and mechanisms.

In politics, United States Presidential hopefuls from both left and right addressing the Annual AIPAC summit is the tradition. That goes for Congress members unflinching support to Israeli lobby on all issues whether right or wrong.

The interesting factor is the political contestants’ success is linked with Jewish lineage that guarantees mileage to cross the finish line.

For example, in 2008 the democratic rivals Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama asserted Jewish family relations making them the desirable choice to the Jewish kingmakers in the political race.

Seeing this political edge, Barack Obama’s wife Michelle Obama suddenly remembered about her long-lost uncle being not only a Jew, a Rabbi to top the status.

Furthermore, the republican candidate in 2008, John McCain wooed the Jewish lobby with the slogan – Bomb, Bomb Iran. Noting that the so-called democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama emphasized their stance in their individual style.

Hillary Clinton proclaimed – She would Obliterate Iran with nuclear weapons while Barack Obama opted the standard call for the lack of self-expression, chiming All options are on the table meaning not barring nuclear weapons.

In 2016 – the political rhetoric continued with the democratic contender Hillary Clinton reiterating her daughter Chelsea Clinton’s in-laws being Jewish.

Could the republican candidate Donald Trump then simply let go in his competitor’s favor?

Definitely not.

The Presidential candidate Donald Trump proudly mentioned in political rallies on his daughter Ivanka  (an apostate) having converted to Judaism had given birth to a third Jewish baby.

Now, Ivanka Kushner dubbed Ivanka Trump despite the connotation of her being the mother of three is the regular feature on networks and cyber political sites.

Similarly, in Pakistan the embattled Prime Minister candidate, PTI chief Imran Khan always been the favorite to London based shadow power and more so given Imran Khan’s previous marriage to Jewish billionaire’s daughter Jemima Goldsmith, the first to tweet the congratulatory message on her son’s father’s prospects of becoming Pakistan’s Wazir-e-Azam – the Prime Minister.

Last but not the least, the entertainment industry diversity eclipse due to Hollywood and television medium overshadowed by Jewish ascendancy is common knowledge. The same extended into Mumbai film industry referred to as Bollywood with Jewish owned entertainment firms financing big budget films inducing controversy and internal agitation attributed to movie themes.

The information unequivocally describes the Jewish Israeli stronghold and predominance in every possible field and this is no stretch of imagination.

The factual presentations to this effect are immediately refuted as antisemitism which in itself is incorrect for semites are the Arab tribes in North Africa and Palestine.

Israel and Jews predisposition to insecurity regardless is misplaced in light of overwhelming clout retained in world affairs and events. Humans and for that matter other species included continue to be subject to abuse, prejudice, isolation, denial of freedom, civil rights, and extreme violence. Palestine serves as the example in this context, with no hope for Palestinian statehood. Instead Israeli forces and authority authorized rapid deterioration of conditions in the occupied Palestinian territory is the norm much to global criticism.  Israel’s perennial investment in combat and territorial annexations witnessed in the settlement activities in West Bank and East Jerusalem, notwithstanding unilateral economic blockade against the people in Gaza lasting a decade are provocative to say the least.

Moreover, United States ordinary tax payers since the wealthy are exempt from fair share of taxes remain the benefactor to the state of Israel with unconditional permanent financial aid even during US severe economic recession alongside military provisions. United States participation in Israel’s chosen warfare in Syria, Yemen, skirmishes in Lebanon, confrontations with Iran, proxy in Egypt, bifurcation of Sudan and political instability wherever possible never had anything to do with US citizens or national security.

Israel and Jewish organizations reconciliation with reality in acknowledgment of peace and liberty for all exemplified in ending occupation in Palestine and territories seized in 1967 six-day warfare could not be rejected any more. The acceptance is imperative for a new chapter in the Middle East facilitating trust, respect and cordial relations with neighbors in the region and world over.

Sowing the seeds of peace and harmony would deliver positive outcome benefitting all in the region and outside. Unlike hostility and acrimony leaving those behind the strategy in eternal trepidation.

United States Withdrawal from UN Human Rights Council

June 21, 2018

United States Withdrawal from UN Human Rights Council

Padmini Arhant

United States withdrawal from UN Human Rights Council citing the latter as a hypocrite and  self serving appropriately applies to accusers than the accused considering own legacy and status quo. United States reason for withdrawal is attributed to UN Human Rights Council’s ‘Chronic bias towards Israel.’

United States decision suggest neither US nor the ally Israel are independent nations. United States move on Israel’s behalf creates the position for US as a vassal state to Israel.  Simultaneously, Israel riding on United States coat tail on all matter concerning Israel proves Israel’s protracted dependency including public relations undermining any legitimacy as a sovereign state. Under these circumstances, both entities are required to ascertain the role they play for proper representation in the international forum.

As for human rights violations, United States immigration issue reportedly leaves the fate of 2000 children hanging in balance as they remain in the detention center subsequent to the halt on separation of immigrant families and their offsprings. Notwithstanding the lack of interest and responsibility in U.S. Congress to pass the immigration bill on dreamers and amnesty for the significant number of immigrants facing deportation. Then there are detainees in the infamous Guantanamo Bay held for nearly two decades denying them habeas corpus i.e. legal representation in addition to inmates families having no access to these men who are sons, fathers, husband, brother to someone overseas.

Similarly, Israel’s trajectory in Palestinian territory is well known worldwide. Israel’s occupation of Palestine and since then human rights abuse sparing none viz. children kept in Israeli Defense Force controlled Administrative detention center outside West Bank without contacts with parents, the Saharonim prison where African asylum seekers are held in the Israeli facility on Negev Desert and unilateral blockade against Gazans for more than a decade forcing the densely populated Gaza strip under siege summarize United States and Israel’s human rights record.

The US administrations tradition pardoning those convicted of crimes and serious charges predominantly based on political preferences and exchange of favors while detaining hard working immigrants with clean profile for mass deportation is a paradoxical policy with conflicting ethical standards.

Accordingly, on  hypocrisy both Israel and United States remain unopposed veterans in this domain.

United States retreating from UN Human Rights Council in Israel’s defense is imprudent diminishing U.S. image and position in humanitarian affairs.

Thank you.

United States – State of the Union Address 2018

President Donald Trump delivered his first State of the Union Address to the nation and viewers worldwide.

I present my thoughts on the address.

The domestic issues related to job creation, lowering unemployment among African Americans and Latino Americans besides other achievements were highlighted in the speech. The tax reform legislation with tax breaks for various groups though the tax relief for individuals are temporary with an expiry date compared to corporations’ permanent tax cuts and stock market record breaking performance were brought to attention. They are relevant and important milestones for this administration and Congress.

The ordinary citizens in different occupations especially the members involved in rescue operations of natural disasters and those fighting crimes within nation were appreciated and commended in the first segment of the speech. These citizens deserved acknowledgment for risking their lives and saving others from life and death situation demonstrating care and compassion in the hour of need.

There was also a pledge to reduce the cost of prescription drugs that are astronomical leaving patients suffering from terminal illnesses with hard choices between buying medications to fight disease and food for survival.

The message on economy was optimistic and complimenting brave citizens for their selfless actions were humanizing in the Presidential delivery.

There was also emphasis on unity considering the divisiveness based on misrepresentation and propaganda of different types in communication outlets that are contributing to polarization. The gesture to transcend identity and accept one another as American is a positive note. The conciliatory approach on immigration recognizing the DACA issue as one of the four pillars including border security is welcome.

The second chance with job prospects for prison inmates having satisfied necessary time is a good moral and economic support to help them reform and settle as productive citizens in society. In this respect, the plan to open and set up vocational institutes and other labor training facilities would certainly be impetus for youths straying in life and committing crimes adding to prison population in the country.

I did not hear any specific benefit to college students on education loan that is vital as there are many of them in this category saddled with education debt prior to starting their career. The student loan is another area other than mortgage that often weighs down on ordinary citizens unable to have any savings after paying the huge interest laden debt. The low or no interest easy payment plan to students and their families would definitely boost college enrollment and educated work force.

Infrastructure to build roads, railways, bridges and ports were addressed in the President’s speech that are all important with bipartisanship in funding the projects leaving politics aside is essential.

The transition from free trade agenda to fair trade with reciprocal arrangement conforms to proposal on this website.

On religion, the guarantee to safeguard religious rights as constitutional norm is conducive and crucial for social harmony.

These issues were all right on track and pertinent to building America.

What I did not hear from the President that is significant not only to America but also to the survival of all species is the environment protection and reducing carbon emission. The administration should review the Paris Climate treaty objectively though I’m yet to familiarize myself on the details of the accord which I will do in the immediate future to understand the nature and commitments of the signatories to the agreement.

In my experience, the environment accord is usually limited to consent and not necessarily translated into action by major polluters viz. United States, China, India and other industrialized as well as emerging economies contributing to global warming and ice caps melting in the north and south poles specifically the arctic and Antarctic respectively endangering marine life and human inhabitation in remote regions of the world.

In fact, the fire, hurricanes, floods and freezing temperatures the President cited in his address are the results of gross environment abuse and neglect that could no longer be slighted prompting serious engagement from government to citizen level to curb environment deterioration. The wealth and economic development are meaningless in the absence of clean air and water critical for life.

Unfortunately, the President heeding to coal industry and endorsing fossil fuel production rather than reduction with export possibilities to other nations is not a viable option on environment preservation. Instead the coal miners and other energy companies should consider clean renewable energy using natural resources like solar, wind and hydrothermal projects and contain fossil fuel dependency. The oil companies constant drilling, fracking and digging in deep and shallow water along with pipelines like the controversial Keystone project ignoring native Americans plea to spare their territory prioritize profit over people and planet sustenance.

The administration’s focus and obligation to protect oceans and rivers from contamination and the atmosphere from pollution is key to healthy living standards that would also decrease health care costs for the nation. Again, clean air and water is not a privilege but indeed a necessity for all to exist and experience healthy life span.

Now on foreign policy. Not surprisingly, the foreign policy advocates input in the State of the Union Address targeting the usual nations as adversaries was predictable. The distinct remarks against some were not only repetitive stance but pronounce stagnancy in changing course from their archaic view of the world and refusing to accept the transformative geopolitical landscape.

Simultaneously touting the allies’ erroneous demands and indulgence viz. Israel and Saudi Arabia with the former occupation of Palestine and defiant settlement activities in Palestinian territories while the latter pounding of Yemen using United States sold artillery in Yemen are proved counterproductive.

The administration’s egregious decision on Jerusalem is neither in United States nor Israel’s interest as claimed in the speech. Jerusalem is a holy city shared among natives and residents settled thereafter creation of Israel on Palestine. The unilateral declaration of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is provocative and appropriately ruled out in the UN vote by majority in the world.

The President expectation from nations to fall in line on international affairs such as Jerusalem deny these nations sovereign right to express dissent and their citizens’ position on global matter. The anticipation on complacency and complicity from nations as recipients of United States financial aid and funding of the United Nations qualifies as bribery to buy votes in the UN voting process defeating the legitimate purpose of an international body.

On North Korea –  the President reminisced the formation of union with then patriots’ resolve for self-governance that led to the emergence of United States of America proudly declared an independent nation on earth.

However, the free country not entirely free in governance with diverse special interests from within and outside exerting control over United States investments has developed into imperialist power despite failures and consistent debacles from illegal invasion and occupation of foreign land.

The irony with western colonial powers is they cherish own freedom and take pride in subjugation and colonization of nations worldwide. The colonial mindset rejects the rights of all human beings to liberty and independence from foreign intervention.

North Korea’s aspiration for reunification of Korea as an independent, sovereign nation liberated from foreign military on the borders and repressive UNSC economic sanctions is an inalienable right of the people of that country. United States long standing imposition on North Korea is direct violation of North Korean sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The same would be applicable to United States engagement in Syria, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and wherever United States military bases are established indefinitely declining the citizens of these nations the self-determination in governance of their choice without foreign troops and sponsored terror outfits presence.

The imperial quest premised on unfettered access to economic reserves and strategic dominance prompting military and terror infiltration in foreign land is a flawed strategy and never gain respect draining tax payer dollars on aggression and violent pursuits.

On the subject of terror – As stated earlier on this website, terrorism would collapse instantly upon terminating supply of weapons to terror factions together with ceasing funding to terror operatives that fosters terror. There is little or no desire to end these two means among promoters and profiteers of terror instrumental in proliferating terrorism.

Nuclear policy – The reluctance to lead the world in nuclear disarmament due to reservations from forces believing nuclear might as formidable defense is an illusion. Again, as explained earlier on the topic on this website, nuclear status is a dead weight on nuclear powers demanding extraordinary vigilance and financial investment in maintenance of nuclear site depriving other areas such as health care, education and infrastructure improvement in the national budget. The reality is people dying from preventable disease and lack of basic facilities is much higher and happening on daily basis among nuclear and non-nuclear states than the probability of nuclear attack. Yet nuclear ambitions and advancement exceed overall life requisites among nuclear states accelerating nuclear arms race.

The world cannot afford to wait for a particular time and place on denuclearization. Nuclear weapons are a menace and require safe disposal making the world a nuclear free zone. Hence, it is incumbent on all nuclear states to arrive at a consensus and expedite nuclear disarmament exempting none in the endeavor. The world leaderships in military, politics and civil society owe this responsibility to the present and future generation for safe and nuclear free existence.

Likewise, there is another cleaning up task pending world action. The land mines and improvised explosive device (IED) that are inflicting pain and permanent injury to largely poorer demography in countries that are designated eternal war precincts with weapons and explosives left behind in open field and abandoned in warehouse as witnessed in Africa, Afghanistan and Libya.

The addiction to foreign policy to suit core entities self and vested interests against United States and global benefits hurt America’s credibility in presiding over world disputes and discord.

The President speech also confirmed on Guantanamo Bay to remain open retaining status quo. The idea to house terror suspects most of whom are known to be falsely held in captivity denying them habeas corpus – the right to legal defense to prove their innocence emanated from the administration headed by then President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney and sources in power at that time. These members having been primarily responsible for allowing terror attack on 9/11/2001, they were never held accountable for dereliction of duty amounting to treason and violation of human rights in introducing torture and inhumane tactics on those in unlawful custody.

United States image could not be enhanced in skyscrapers and coast to coast high ways, bridges and monuments alone.  Any nations real progress is verifiable in the treatment of own citizens and those abroad with mutual respect, dignity and fairness without compromising on ethics and human value.

I reiterate that President Donald Trump led administration and the present Congress with members from both sides of the political aisle have potential to build America and enable American dream for all Americans leaving none behind barring prejudice in general and partisan politics in governance.

United States and the world moving forward in strengthening ties with neighbors in the region and across the frontiers treating each other as partners and not rivals extending economic, cultural, educational and social events is paramount for global peace, prosperity and security.

God bless humanity and environment.

Thank you.
