Hello Everyone,

I present the full feature on Politics smear campaign and personal attacks with pictures above for education.

Please click on the audio link for the content.

Although the pictures are worth a thousand words – some might need explanation.

The obsession with tall syndrome deserves clarification to dispel myths in this context.

The tall palm tree or the cypress tree in the pictures above do not provide shade for shelter during sunny or rainy day compared with banyan, pipal and other trees of medium heights in natural environment.

The coconuts from a palm tree are not easily accessible and require mechanism to climb the tree to collect the fruit unlike the medium height tree allowing anyone regardless of size to pick the hanging fruits from it.

Poignantly the modest height Pipal tree in Bodh Gaya, India – is famously known as the seat of enlightenment with Avatar of Lord Vishnu as Lord Buddha attaining Nirvana – the liberation of soul for union with Supreme soul.  Please see illustration above.

To small minds anything better and greater would always appear smaller.  The disposition despite towering heights make the source diminutive in stature and character – the relevant attributes in life.

Another example – The dinosaur Tyrannosaurus Rex – T-Rex is also a tall carnivore that wreaked havoc on earth and eventually became extinct. Tyrannosaurus derived from Tyranny that this TALL creature exhibited during existence.

Let this not be forgotten – the body of any length and size must be discarded upon departure from earth.  Accordingly any pride and prejudice in this respect is a reflection of shallow mind.

Learning and knowledge is demonstrated in pure thoughts and deeds freeing the self from ignorance.

Ignorance could be a bliss or an abyss.

Peace to all!

The pictures of Gujarati women in the village with their heads covered similar to the photo with muslim women wearing hijab or the head scarf.

The pictures depict Hindu society in North, East and Western India adaptation of Islamic custom i.e. (women covering their head) imposed during the Mogul period.  The tradition maintained until today by Hindus in Northern, Eastern and Western India although not part of original Hindu religion and culture.

World – Nuclear Armament 2015

June 25, 2015

By Padmini Arhant

Hello Everyone!

I present the topic with emphasis on nuclear armament exacerbating global security.

In my previous segment, I talked about the implications of nuclear proliferation currently invigorated amongst major nuclear powers as well as other nuclear states worldwide.

Being a nuclear power is a burden than formidability. The misconception about nuclear empowerment deserves discussion and debate.

I reiterate my statement that nuclear status is meaningless. The reason I say this is because a nuclear state deploying nuclear arsenal or nuclear components against non-nuclear state as it happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the 20th century and subsequently in Vietnam, Iraq, and recently in Syria demonstrates weakness not strength and further highlights belligerence.

The nuclear nation air strikes laden with nuclear substance against non-nuclear state is a routine affair.

The reckless indulgence is in direct violation of the rules of engagement in warfare.

There is no deliberation prior to the use of depleted uranium or white phosphorous causing tremendous suffering to victims evident in citizens of Iraq and Gaza.

During Iraq war, the aggressors and allies used uranium on civilians in Fallujah and as a result the babies are born with congenital birth defects leading to generational impact.

This is one dimension of nuclear showdown.

The frivolous statements during presidential election in the United States warning non-nuclear adversary on the possible use of nuclear arsenal against them and euphemistically quoting all options on the table are maintained as acceptable norm of speech.

The other scenario is – nuclear nation threatening another nuclear state. The dangerous precedence ignores the preemptive nuclear exchange besides creating tensions in the region. The example is Cuban missile crisis in the 20th century that brought two nuclear powers – United States and the former Soviet Union on the brink of nuclear confrontation.

Likewise the two nuclear states in the Indian sub-confinent, South Asia – India and Pakistan Kargil war in May 1999 almost led to nuclear meltdown.

In the 21st century, the provocation persists in the Korean peninsula with regular military drills showcasing nuclear capable fighter jets and submarines contributing to North Korea missile testing and investment in nuclear enhancement. The P5+1 usual response to North Korea’s nuclear activities is economic sanctions lasting over decades forcing population in that country into starvation.

The incumbent administration in the United States – pivot Asia policy in Asia pacific and counterpart China’s territorial annexations is another development for the world to contend with in the ongoing skirmishes in the region.

Similarly in the Baltic Sea – NATO involvement and continuous military exercise prompts Russia towards missile defense system preparedness amid disagreements between Russia and western powers on Ukraine instability.

Middle East – volatility from violence and pervasive terrorism is the choice amongst terror networks sponsors unyielding to peace prospects in ending Syrian conflict.

The intention in the Middle East is to prolong status quo having changed that part of the world into hot bed for terror operation.

Central Asia – Afghanistan designated as war zone under the pretext of combating Taliban and al Qaeda operatives in the nation.

United States military presence in central Asia substituting former Soviet Union projects the nuclear triangle with Russia and China

Pakistan – another nuclear state with extensive terror infiltration should be a matter of great concern for the world. United States arms supply to Pakistan while extending cordial relations with ally India is a paradoxical paradigm.

Latin America – Imperial aspirations pursued with territorial disputes alongside military and naval occupation of the region.

Africa – the militarization of the continent claiming to safeguard African borders underestimates human intelligence on the real reason behind massive military incursion.

The risks that accompany nuclear status are attention worthy.

The safekeeping of nuclear weapons demand vigilance, prudence and effective management taking both human and technological errors into account.

The nuclear arsenal maintenance is no ordinary task and requires constant monitoring to avert any disorder.

The safe disposal of outdated and obsolete inventory alone costs a fortune.

In the event of mobilization of nuclear stockpiles carried out from time to time, the lapse during transportation and transit is alarming based on past incident in the United States with missing arsenal upon arrival in the destination.

Then there are nuclear sites wear and tear triggering leakage and contamination of rivers are issues that affects residents in the area.

In the aftermath of Soviet Union disintegration – the former nuclear states like Ukraine, Georgia and other nations under Soviet bloc are yet to confirm complete nuclear disarmament with remnants stock misplaced following rapid fragmentation and Soviet withdrawal.

Nuclear status is a menace costing taxpayers in billions and accordingly an economic liability to the nuclear state.

Nuclear powers military interventions and imperial ambitions through invasion and occupation has depleted national treasury in quest for regional and global conquest.

There is no guarantee that there would be no extemporaneous and impulsive actions using nuclear weapons as there are entities promoting such concept as a casual experiment much to global detriment.

Nuclear power is redundant and best renounced with a commitment to preserve life and habitat i.e. the planet for present and future existence.

The world becoming nuclear free zone is global responsibility and could no longer be evaded for that would mean denying peace, stability, security and most importantly life on earth.

The next segment will be on economic woes and miscalculation in the illegal invasion and occupation of foreign land.

I will be back with my thoughts on that subject.

Thank you for your interest.

Peace to all!

United States – Happy Father’s Day 2015

June 21, 2015

By Padmini Arhant

Happy Father’s Day!  To individuals and families on this occasion in recognition of father’s contribution and involvement in providing for the loved ones and to people as father figure to them.

Parenting is a partnership and sharing responsibilities ease the burden on each other  leading to family happiness and peace.

The relationships founded on equal respect and functioning with better understanding barring gender inequality and subordination has mutual benefits and successful future for the family.

The services and selfless actions of anyone gain prominence regardless of acknowledgment and exemplify virtues and values that determine human character. Their dedication and love in caring for members within and outside family demonstrate sincerity and true commitment that never is in vain.

Wishing a pleasant and memorable Father’s Day.

Peace to all!

United States – License to Kill At Will

June 21, 2015

By Padmini Arhant

In the past week, yet another incident involving African American citizens claimed nine lives while praying at the church in Charleston, South Carolina.

The person (s) responsible for the horrendous crime was armed and overwhelmed with hatred and prejudice that has led them to commit such act.

Certain media assertion that the shooter was suffering from mental illness and at the same time failure to recognize the inherent problem i.e. easier access for anyone regardless of mental health to obtain ammunition further exacerbate victims and future potential targets in the country.

Two reasons – Violence and contempt mar human mind leading to internal degradation.

In December 2012, the mass murder of 28 citizens with 20 of them being children in Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newtown, Connecticut apparently has no impact and the tradition maintained with weapons flow within and outside United States pursuing goals premised on violent strategy.

The powerful forces ruling the world and those in position of authority in the United States sponsoring terrorism to kill innocent people in foreign land viz. Syria, Iraq and Libya…in addition to drone attacks in Pakistan, Afghanistan and East as well as West Africa, waging warfare against people seeking freedom and political rights in Palestine, Yemen and elsewhere set precedence for citizens in the country to follow their leaders and the prevalent system granting immunity to such crimes is a subscription to summary execution.

Unless the license to kill at will among the powerful, famous and those choosing to harm unarmed citizens is revoked bringing the responsible assailants to accountability, the profuse bleeding witnessed in war zones and national scene would continue without mercy and merit.

I convey my sincere condolences to victims’ families in the Charleston, South Carolina tragedy and every other event notwithstanding the horrific 9/11 terrorism on American soil opening the floodgates for terror worldwide by architects and catalysts with lofty ambitions i.e. global supremacy.

May God bless the souls of the deceased and provide solace and courage to survivors and next of kin in enduring the ordeal.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

China – Interview with China’s President Xi Jinping

May 12, 2015

By Padmini Arhant

The audio version is available in the above link. The interview is conducted in Mandarin (Chinese language) with simultaneous English translation. Please click on the audio feature above.

President of the People’s Republic of China, The General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and the Chairman of the Central Military Commission.

Hello! Mr. President.

Welcome to the public domain. Padminiarhant.com

Thank you for inviting me.

Let me begin with China’s Title.

1. Q. Is China the People’s Republic?

Ans. China is stated as the People’s Republic.  However, China is governed by Communist Political bureau.

2. Q. How is China positioned in the 21st Century?

Ans. China is the emerging economic power and a major creditor to the United States and EU. China is also a global exporter with trade relations in every region. As permanent member of UN Security Council, China is equal partner in the P5+1 exclusive club.

All things considered, China also represents hegemony in undermining peace and stability.

3. Q. Where does China stand on territorial disputes with neighbors, the issues remaining contentious and escalating tension in the region?

Ans. Although, China is not in direct confrontation with any specific nation, there are skirmishes on the borders and international waters – South China Sea in particular attracting world attention.

4, Q What is the reason behind disagreements in this matter?

Ans. China is an integral part of hegemony sharing similar goals in maintaining economic and strategic dominance.

5. Q. Isn’t China’s policy forcing developing nations in the region to increase defense budget and facilitating United States permanent military base?

Ans. China and United States positions are favorable to the military industrial complex. The incursions are intended to proliferate arms deals including nuclear capability.

6. Q. China’s invasion and occupation of Tibet, China declining recognition of Taiwan as independent nation, the political unrest in Hong Kong, China’s claim on Indian States of Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Aksai Chin in Kashmir, Maoists infiltration in India and Nepal clarify China’s imperial traits to control region.

What makes any nation think they can rule other states when providing for their own people is a major challenge?

Ans. Invasion and occupation of land is signature act of imperialism. Japan and China are historically imperial powers in the region. China’s territorial expansion is the continuation of trend in modern age. China’s hegemonic ambitions conform to UNSC P5+1 legacy.

7. Q. China’s relation with the United States is based on economic inter-dependency with China’s investment in U.S. Treasury Securities and United States granting MFN status to China.

However, there are other issues like currency adjustments contributing to trade imbalance, intellectual property rights violations by China and United States engagement in cyber attacks and standoff in Korean Peninsula as well as East and South China sea are few among several feuds that cannot be ignored now or later.

What is China’s proposal to the existing undercurrent in the relationship with United States and should the world believe the rivalry as a matter of concern?

Ans. China’s economic and military strength is formidable. Nonetheless both China and United States are partners and represent hegemony. The lingering mistrust is a result of two dragons vying for prominence.

8. Q. North Korea ties with China evident in China’s assistance in enabling North Korea – the nuclear state. Yet, China voted for sanctions against North Korea recently despite economic sanctions adverse impact on the people.

Similarly China’s arms supply to various factions in Africa in exchange for oil foment civil wars paving way for former colonizers to recolonize the continent. Such activities suggestive of hegemony pact for free access to African resources at the population expense.

Is China a reliable ally?

Ans. China is no different from other imperialists as we are poised to benefit ourselves in legitimizing illegitimate policy worldwide.

Whether China is a reliable ally or not – history is testimony to the fact.

9. Q. China led bank Asian Investment Infrastructure Bank (AIIB) conspicuously a spin off from Asian Development Bank luring United States allies confirm the concept cloning World Bank, IMF, ECB etc.

Why are the nations in North Africa and Middle East pledging support to improve Asian infrastructure rather than Africa?

Ans. Hegemony has many manifestations and China is one of them. World Bank, IMF, ECB, ADB and alike ill reputation are the reason behind AIIB emergence to prolong business as usual.

10. Q. China ‘s human rights record witnessed in Tiananmen Square and arrests of political dissidents besides crackdown on Uighurs in Xinjiang province, persecution of Tibetan monks and desecration of Tibetan heritage are common events.

As head of the state and Communist party chief, do you contemplate on reversing decadence to providence?

Ans. China’s human rights matter is in political interest. The communist doctrine is in semblance with hegemony ideology – i.e. to preserve concentration of power within core structure.

Furthermore, communism is an invention then to promote prevalent feudal system under the guise of republic.

China’s President Xi Jinping – Thank you.

Peace to all!

Thank you.
