State Terror

When politics is in endless warfare under the pretext of self-defense, the obvious being war is a convenient shield for such politics evading accountability on long hovering corruption scandal involving own and the next of kin, conveniently dispatched far away to the safest haven – the monetary, military and technology benefactor USA.

Meanwhile touting patriotism on own behalf at home have no problems drafting the other citizens’ young sons and daughters sent harms’ way in the permanent war zone.

Never mind the killings of several thousands of children, infants and their families…all of whom branded terrorists in blanket conviction.

The callousness not even barring denial of food, water, medicine or ambulance services exacerbating their abhorrent conditions over ten months in extension of nearly 75 years of apartheid and colonization tyranny against Gazans and entire Palestinians till date. 

In the midst of prolonging the Genocide of innocent people in Gaza, the aggressor Israel and major ally USA Biden – Harris administration have left own hostages, the premise behind justifying Genocide, the casualties under own barrage of bombing and shelling stalling and stone walling long proposed permanent ceasefire that could have brought hostages home and spared the innocent lives in Gaza.

Politics under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to save own skin on corruption leads the state of Israel into hostility inflicting death and carnage carried out against children and infants as well as their families in Gaza.

Simultaneously, hold own citizens at home hostage unheeding their call in weekly protests on permanent ceasefire for the safe return of those held hostage, who were largely killed from the air raids and heavy artillery firing provided and funded by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris administration run by Barack Obama with pride. 

In the United States, when the re-election to second term was abysmal in 2012, the incumbent Barack Obama Presidency then in 2012 engaged in hoax operation in Abbottabad in Pakistan claiming to have assassinated long deceased Osama Bin Laden.

Subsequently within three months of that false event went ahead and eliminated the entire NAVY SEAL recruited in that operation to prevent the facts exposure.

The Abbottabad operation NAVY SEAL team families were denied any rights to open independent investigation behind State terror.

The similar show was exhibited by the New Delhi incumbency during 2019 re-election bid adapting same strategy to mitigate personal doom prospects.

The State terror was full blown in this instance. The State manufactured terror launched attacks on own young citizens serving as the national guards around 40 or more defense personnel were targeted and murdered on own turf in Kashmir.

The gruesome attack then paved way for pseudo political gimmick close to national election weeks away under the guise of retaliation in foreign shore viz. Pakistan. It was phrased the controversial Pulwama attack.

In that same 2019 national election in New Delhi, India, the defense force personnel having served twenty four years or more in the most treacherous conditions of the Himalayan terrain as the border security force member upon becoming a whistle blower on the ongoing internal corruption in depriving decent meals for the members of the defense force guarding the nation and citizens, the politics in particular.

The national defense force personnel Tej Bahadur was bullied, harassed by New Delhi national government and political media leading to his only son committing suicide from the relentless State terror.

When former serviceman Tej Bahadur ran in national election as the formidable challenger against the incumbent embattled Indian Prime Minister, the state machinery pulled together the unscrupulous nefarious tactics and debarred the contender Tej Bahadur citing clerical error in the filing of his election nomination paper that was previously approved and found to be in order for the candidacy to run in national election.

All of the above mentioned State terror in Israel, United States, India…the so-called democracies were carried out in exclusive personal and political interests such as evading haunting corruption scandal and political demise.

The hunger for power is unfortunately ravenous amongst those inept in governance and adept in dishonesty, lies and deceit amid ad nauseam cronyism pulling any shenanigans to unlawfully extend term in office costing taxpayer treasure and blood as witnessed and experienced time and time again.

All the more reason to transfer power back to where it originally belongs and funded as taxpayers, members of workforce in the economy, servicemen and women in uniform as national defense force and several others contributing to the nation and society at large.

Unlike those seizing power and indefinitely fleecing on the republic in exploitative abusive even violent politics.

State Terror is the unparalleled trail blazer in domestic and international terrorism.

Here is the dichotomy – the political mob demands that bullies like them should be respected and even revered amid their beg, borrow and steal legacy continues unabated in the worst trend to fleece on the one they abuse for lifetime. Anything other than that from the target is characterized as whiner again twisted as ‘wine Mom.’

There is an easy solution to this issue – Abusers, opportunists and wannabes – Cease and Desist the deplorable opportunism and exploitation. 

The political mob – Mind your affairs not your target’s personal life including the family. 

The political authority is only limited to efficient governance with focus on reversing deep economic crisis and accounting for people’s money squandered in killing infants, children and families in foreign land.

Besides, the political mob self-enrichment overnight to billionaire status on the backs of hard working economic contributors is to be laid to rest.  This immediate transition would facilitate government to invest the taxpayer dollars in the respective taxpayer life and not misappropriate their tax dollars to political discretion.

The status quo is exacerbating the actual providers – the ordinary taxpayers’ economic condition eventually hurting those responsible completing the full circle in ending from where it began. 

Western so-called democracy intolerance leading to destabilization and toppling of governments via draconian economic sanctions, political unrest and / or military coup d’état is the norm maintained till now against non-western people elected democracy.

Terrorism: Perhaps politics could clarify the following: 

In the Chicken-and-egg quandary – what came first? 

The egg is the obvious to be hatched into chicken. 

Similarly, in the State terror and terrorism within or from outside – the State terror as the global authority at the helm followed by the national authority and the remaining level in the political hierarchy reaching to the bottom are the source for any type of terror emulating the ones with political and fire power. 

The State terror : Far more aggressive, violent and visceral. The crackdown, censorship, cancel culture, invasion and direct intrusion in civilian lives literally in control of their life misusing technology. The other tactics involve depriving the target from own financial means and legitimate income from lawful engagement in investments and employment.

The State terror espouses and promotes abject cronyism alongside retribution to sustain power.

The State terror hopelessly rely on massive propaganda and smear campaign spinning false narratives 24/7 despite knowing the tradition having brought down many before like Adolf Hitler, Idi Amin and allies proving such efforts futile.

The state terror also specializes in perverse actions with eyes, ears glued to the walls and floors of their target, eavesdropping, snooping, spying, intercepting, raiding, hacking, tagging, trolling, stalking, faking and imposing own will among myriad interventions pretty much tracking target’s life to the minutiae in the obsessive behavior as the prerogative.

The State terror through nuance, innuendoes and insinuations using all available delivery formats in communication outlets and the recruits on payroll let the target aware of the State’s invasion of the target’s life.

It ranges from information on the position one sleeps at night – whether on fetus position, left or right leaning, lying on the back or front etc. They go further with the claim on their incredible knowledge about the target’s items in the shower recess in describing soap to color of the loofah.

Even the death row inmate or worst serial killers (though found amongst the State terror writ large) in federal or state penitentiary would have some privacy and protected under individual and civil rights ambit.

Just a subtle reminder to the target on the State terror’s creepy behavior on the scale of their perversions notwithstanding lewd crude routines exercised with immense pride and prejudice as the elected authority to abuse power at will irrespective of domestic or foreign.

Above all, using the taxpayer dollar against the same taxpayer in the weaponization of taxpayer funded agencies such as the income tax, surveillance to avert any potential external and internal threat supposed to protect citizens and nation is subverted and deployed to shield the state authority and functionaries backend corrupt dealings and often alliance with nation’s adversaries and other unsavory elements during and post term in office.

All of these brazen violations from the State terror is justified in the might is right with the emphasis on the decadent culture as the new paradigm of modern democracy or the largest democracy in the world.

The State terror has power and resources at disposal from ammunitions to taxpayer funded branches of government used against targeted citizens to silence voices sharing concern on status quo. 

State terror potent weapon is power granted by the people abused against the people to the core. The trend is common especially against those whom they politically, economically and socially oppress and in many instances religiously as well violating their inalienable individual rights and existence.

The misuse of justice system, law enforcement and other law and order apparatus are rampant against political opponents, non-violent dissenters, peace and environment activists aa well as any voice of reason and rationality are the primary targets for State terror in any political system in disguise or blatant. 

The horrendous crime in state terror besides massive corruption, criminality and treason more often is the self-granted license to kill unarmed innocent civilians, the defense force personnel, national guards or navy SEAL…are also a fair game in the hoax operations for political advantage by pulling the trigger and / or via drones and other arsenal not excluding manufactured terror that are within reach for the state / national authority.

The crimes committed are not even recognized as a crime for they are deemed legitimate and the license to kill anyone. The law abiding taxpayers and those perceived politically and personally inconvenient in particular are pursued with no end.

Regardless of the authority’s violations publicly known or not, the violators behind state terror in any and all of the above enunciated details are granted political immunity for life with taxpayer funded privileges and benefits intact. 

In the front and backdrop of the State terror, the politics generated political disenfranchisement of any segments and demography based on race, religion social and economic class, isolation and alienation within society denied any rights in sheer discriminatory practice… such factors contribute militancy, radicalism, ideological assertion, supremacy, religious fundamentalism evolved into fanaticism and culmination of these solidified as terrorism. 

The State terror is the foundation for other types of fringe and coordinated terror in opposition to State terror.

Needless to say, terrorism in any genre and origin is condemnable and terror manifestation in any form or type has no place in civilized society. 

Importantly, western globalists comprising oligarchs from key industries, tech sector and super wealthy incognito from Rothschild to George Soros, Bill Gates…controlled economic and political system on one side.

Simultaneously, media owner Rupert Murdoch and alike in communication along with power hogs in politics operating in tandem as the shadow power orchestrating turbulence and turmoil across the globe not even sparing own turf such as the United States is the new normal.

The conglomerate is essentially against the republic status. The pledge of allegiance to the shadow power is critical for approval to head governments in the more opaque political system shunning scrutiny and accountability.

The evasiveness is explicit in dodging and declining public press conference. 

Terrorism and terror outfits are the progeny of State terror unleashed within society or in territories near and far through illegal invasion, occupation, colonization and gross human rights violation lasting over decades exerting hegemony in regional and global dominance. 

Nothing happens without cause and effect creating abnormal volatile conditions entirely for political gains, economic interests and strategic domination.  

Accordingly, State terror is to be quelled allowing constitutional based democracy to function providing peace, progress and prosperity from merit and skills oriented fair opportunity across the spectrum.

In foreign affairs, recognition of independent statehood, human rights, individual liberty, sovereignty, territorial integrity with free flow of economic activities barring unilateral embargo or selective bias in UNSC decisions are pertinent for pervasive peace and security.

Having publicly shared to support the Jewish partner Douglas Emhoff on Israel’s right to self-defense, Kamala Emhoff Harris multi-polar syndrome further expose the unelected and unelectable candidacy duplicity.

Never use the victims and their horrendous misery that you caused them as co-partner i.e. the incumbent VP and active pro-Gaza GENOCIDE cohort in war- mongering and funding arming the Gaza war till date.

It is the worst sin you could commit for pseudo power, fame and fortune.

Not to mention, the election gimmick as anti-war and call for ceasefire having authorized the Genocide of more than 50,00 victims – among whom majority are infants and children together with their families in Gaza,

You, Kamala Emhoff Harris as the incumbent VP and a proud pro-war activist all along till date are directly responsible for leaving nearly 2 million Gazan refugees without food, water and medicine in the brutal war zone that you voted for as the President of the United States Senate that could have been averted with a Nay vote. However, you were hook line and sinker in escalating the Gaza war into protracted regional conflict.

Your administration that you are very much part of and you publicly defended your war mongering and your administration’s several UNSC vetoes on Gaza ceasefire will not go away.

One could try and run away from one’s Karma but can never escape from the karmic effects of one’s crimes in blatant denial.

Chameleon changing color never makes a chameleon anything other than what it is and its true colors. 

Despite overwhelming revelations, the Gen Z (18-24)-year-old mocked by the presumptuous unelectable Presidential candidacy Kamala Emhoff Harris.

Regardless of 2024 United States Presidential outcome;

The hard facts on EU and Israel – the United States so-called allies since their creation draining hard working American families tax dollars for respective political agenda under the guise of security against Russia for EU and the entire Middle East region for Israel is no longer economically affordable for ordinary taxpayers via endless money printing by the USA monetary authority.

The flawed monetary policy behind skyrocketed inflation and exorbitant interest rates having brought American middle class and lower income families to grueling economic strife is a grim actuality.

As usual, politics evading responsibility on own egregious decisions and failed policies unintelligently hold food and grocery retailers and wholesalers responsible for inflation.

The response is similar to the incumbent administration earlier claim against retail gas stations nationwide accused of price gouging at the onset of Ukraine war in February 2022 triggering global energy crisis.

Meanwhile, the incumbent Biden – Harris administration together with the United States legislative branch on both sides of the aisle ignore their active involvement in funding and fueling warfare that has been consuming fuel and money in fighting two frontal full blown wars in Ukraine and Gaza since February 2022 until now August 2024.

The current administration VP and the unelected Presidential candidacy propped up by plutocrats and party establishment accusing local businesses in the economy for inflation clarify politics’ out-of-touch with reality on all issues.

United States’ rising inflation and unaffordable interest rates on business borrowing and home owners’ mortgage are primarily due to government spending in warfare and unaccounted budget for political interests.

EU and Israel touted as the advanced western economies can easily afford spending on their security matter without the American taxpayers’ mandatory spending via multi-billion $$$ in aid to Israel as customary practice.

On the other side, United States taxpayers subsidized NATO commitment to affluent EU with Germany alone, ranked the third largest  economy in the world, only next to China and the United States, is in a comfortable economic status to pay fair share in protecting own security and that of EU member states in the region.

Taking these factors into account, there is no surprise on the latest EU intervention in the United States Presidential election issuing warnings against candidacy unwilling to maintain status quo on NATO disproportionate funding burdened on American taxpayers on the wealthy EU’s behalf.

The so-called allies EU and Israel can easily pay for their never ending warfare if there is no desire for permanent peace from either and both to end Ukraine war and the war in Gaza conflated into regional conflict.

It always boils down to the ones footing the extraordinary expense on military extravaganzas with the actual stake holders in the contemporary war games EU and Israel absolved of significant economic liability thus far.

Such economic resignation is largely premised on the USA’s toiling ordinary workers and families forced into being benefactors and used as the ATM machines when the corrupt media surrogate like the FOX network oligarch, the anti-democratic Rupert Murdoch owned The Wall Street Journal targeting the one and only nemesis i.e. me with such baseless accusation expressed in the extreme violent outrage and condemnable outpouring misogyny hatred much to own individual and collective peril.

Notwithstanding imminent apocalypse awaiting such reckless diatribe from those enraged for speaking the TRUTH. 

All said and done, the indomitable fact is that Israel’s security and stability is rooted in the establishment of independent free Palestine with existing internationally recognized and approved Palestinian statehood barring any illegal invasion, occupation, colonization and any form of control by the State of Israel.

Additionally, the formal acknowledgment of Independent Palestine as one among sovereign states of the global community in the United Nations General Assembly with all privileges that are extended to any other UN members and exercised as the sovereign entity of the international body is imperative for the regional and global peace and security.

The re-construction of Gaza and Palestinian lives destroyed in the last ten-months-old warfare and preceding the conflict in the denial of any individual rights and independence to Palestinians lasting more than seven decades until now is fundamental for peaceful co-existence in the region.

The aggression and violence inflicted in Gaza war against civilian population much to global condemnation has further exacerbated the situation with the protracted warfare as the ongoing alternative rejecting permanent ceasefire.

Ending the wars in Ukraine and Gaza with peaceful settlements are the sane solutions to economic recovery for United States.

EU and Israel’s security also tied to conclusion of warfare with sincere and meaningful peace resolutions.

The recent exit of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan was largely associated by the subject as western conspiracy behind his incomplete term in office,  though the development is not unique in Pakistan’s politics.

The outgoing Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan also publicly stated during the rally and address to his nation that the former administration was chided by western represented emissary viz. EU and the United States for the ex- Prime Minister’s visit to Moscow at the onset of Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The former Prime Minister Imran Khan drew parallel in this context by citing the next door neighbor and adversary India’s relation with Russia. The former Prime Minister Imran Khan reiterated that economic ties between India and Russia in energy and defense procurement continued slighting western sanctions against Russia.

The former Prime Minister Imran Khan also expressed disappointment and noted western discriminatory practice against his administration in particular reference to the Moscow trip on the eve of Russian invasion of Ukraine which the ex-Prime Minister and his former cabinet colleagues like the ex-foreign minister Shah Mahmood Quereshi said was pre-arranged diplomatic tour long before the Ukraine war.

All said and done – here are the glaring dichotomy in the entire international foreign policy.

First of all, the former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s anti-western anguish doesn’t quite fit into the backdrop of the cricket sports star who has been promoted with extravagant publicity from the United States ally Britain with enthusiastic support from Israel.

The cricket sportsman turned politician Imran khan has overwhelmingly enjoyed special favorable coverage from London all along with national media like BBC including Fleet Street fawning over the cricketer never having enough of Mr. Khan’s profile extending beyond the running commentary of first class cricket test match and international series.  Although the cricketer Imran Khan led the Pakistan cricket team as the captain and not England with the latter even defeated in the final world cup tournament in 1992 at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia with Pakistan winning the world cup that year.

As for Israel’s affinity towards Mr. Imran Khan, the sentiment is largely related to Mr.Khan’s former wife Jemima Goldsmith, the British citizen of Jewish descent and wealthy background.

The anti-west turn around from the former Prime Minister Imran Khan prior to political turmoil was conspicuously to appease China. Pakistan’s largest creditor and investor China, especially in the complex CPEC – China Pakistan Economic Corridor in Pakistan’s gwadar port is ongoing strenuous undertaking.

On the other hand, Pakistan and Russia relations basically developed following United States and NATO failure in neighboring Afghanistan which in fact is interesting considering Pakistan’s close ties with United States in the aftermath of former Soviet Union’s defeat in Afghanistan earlier. The partners were reversed as situation changed in the two Islamic states.

Russia and Pakistan conducted first joint military exercise in 2016 much to New Delhi’s angst and concern. The relation between the two countries further advanced into arms sales and military training of Pakistan soldiers by Russia in August 2018 and later in 2020 which happens to be during former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s term in office.

It is fair to say Russian defense strategy in the Indian sub-continent pivoted towards Pakistan as Moscow noted New Delhi drawn closer towards United States mostly to attract India with defense procurement from the U.S. despite India until now remains the largest buyer of defense hardware from Russia.

There is a shift in partnering in the Indian sub-continent with Moscow wooing Islamabad to convey New Delhi on Moscow’s discomfort regarding India’s intimacy with the United States in defense as well as other strategic alliance such as Quad in the Indo-Pacific.

While this is going on in South Asia, the European and Russian relation beckons focus.

The Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer visit to Russia on April 12, 2022 after direct meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin were described by Russian academia and scholars as follows.

“The Austrians stick to more balanced approaches than even the Germans, claiming the role of a global mediator and a negotiating platform. This is why, despite being an EU member, they refused to provide weapons to Ukraine,” Associate Professor with the Department of International Relations, Political Science and Foreign Area Studies at the Russian State University for the Humanities Vadim Trukhachev stated.”

“Austria opposes an oil and gas embargo on Moscow. Vienna depends a lot on Russia in terms of energy. Austria used to be a big advocate of Nord Stream 2. And now, they keep stressing that although they support EU sanctions, their national interests should not suffer. Those interests particularly include Russian gas supplies,” Vladimir Schweitzer, Head of the Department for Social and Political Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Europe noted.”

The major economic power in EU – Germany signed contract with Russia for gas pipeline Nord Stream 1 in 2011 and Nord Steam 2 pipeline back in 2012 during the former German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s term in office.

The five large stake holders in the Nord Stream energy pipeline project are – “Shareholders of the company are the Russian gas company Gazprom (51% of shares), German companies Wintershall Dea and PEG Infrastruktur AG (E. ON) (both 15.5%), the Dutch gas company Gasunie (9%), and the French gas company Engie (9%).

OMV, about 32% of which is owned by the Austrian state, has put around 730 million euros ($813.95 million) into Nord Stream 2. The other financial investors in Nord Stream 2 are Shell (SHEL. L), France’s Engie and Germany’s Uniper (UN01.DE) and Wintershall DEA (WINT. UL)” Feb 27, 2022.

According to International Energy Agency – IEA .org

“In 2021, the European Union imported 155 billion cubic metres of natural gas from Russia, accounting for around 45% of EU gas imports and close to 40% of its total gas consumption. Nobody is under any illusions anymore. Russia’s use of its natural gas resources as an economic and political weapon show Europe needs to act quickly…said IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol.” – IEA Press Release – March 3, 2022.”

International news agency : “The Hungarian government opposes a ban on Russian energy supplies and will continue to defend its position at meetings of the European Union, the country’s Foreign Ministry, Peter Szijjarto said on Monday. He was taking part in a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg.”

It is abundantly clear from the international reports and western European energy companies stakes in Russian energy production – Nord stream 1 & 2 pipeline projects, the energy inter-dependency between Russia and EU as supplier and consumer respectively continued till date amid ongoing war in Ukraine with EU members like Austria and NATO ally Hungary defending their stance on anti-sanctions against Russian oil & energy.

Juxtaposed Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s similar position on the Moscow trip and energy deals with Moscow emphasized in Pakistan’s national interest unfortunately resulted in the Pakistan former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ouster from power. 

The ousted Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ties with Moscow synonymous to EU counterparts like Austria, Germany, Hungary and others in Western as well as eastern Europe were treated differently causing political change in the islamic state in South Asia.

Yet another contradiction among EU members is while they remain Russian energy importers quoting national requirement, their supply of arms to Ukraine from some EU states is quoted as aiding Ukraine to defend democracy. Notwithstanding they are financing Russian invasion of Ukraine via energy consumption.

Russia on its part positioned as anti-west and anti-NATO apparently has no problem in supplying energy products to any and all of them maintaining cash flow from economic activities with them amidst bombing and shelling Ukraine for over two months now.

In effect, both EU and Russia fearing security threats from each other in the region fail to realize their symmetrical role in the energy deals contributing to Russian financial resources on the one side and Russia enabling NATO military capability with Russian exported energy on the other end. There is no recognition from either in terms of self-generated security reality.

Ukraine in the middle of this predicament expected to be neutral, bare arms and bear the brunt of nuclear Russia and EU convenient economic policy.

In the whole gamut, the Ukrainian civilians are paying the price with their lives and property destroyed in Russian heavy artillery hitting every possible standing structure in Ukrainian cities and coastal towns of the once beautiful country.

Meanwhile, the western edifice is justified as necessity prioritizing economic interests over own security considering the spill over effects already experienced with Ukrainian refugees forced to flee their homeland to neighboring Poland, Hungary and Moldova…

Above all the possibility of prolonged war in Ukraine becoming the protracted battle across Europe cannot be ruled out with the status quo.

Unwise to fuel the fire for it might sooner than later engulf the entire zone.

Had EU then respected Ukraine’s economic relations with Russia in 2014 and refrained from cooperation with United States violent insurrection overthrowing Ukraine’s democratically elected incumbent government of President Viktor Yanukovich in 2014 over Kiev and Moscow economic treaty, the situation could have been economically beneficial and politically peaceful for Ukraine and eastern Europe unlike the present time.

Not to mention, the western dogma – what is good for the goose not appropriate for the gander.

President Donald Trump latest decision to end waiver on oil imports from Iran targeting United States allies and key trade partners in South, South East and West Asia is a cavalier approach with serious economic, political and strategic ramifications that are counterproductive. 

President Donald Trump withdrawal from Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the agreement reached between P5+1 and Iran with mutual understanding, commitment and stipulations binding on all sides was a breach of accord casting a shadow on United States credibility and trustworthiness on international pact. 

The U.S. incumbent administration tunnel vision in this regard against Iran at Israel, Saudi Arabia and UAE behest is ill-conceived and impulsive action with no concern for immediate repercussions on oil markets and global economy.

Not to mention the potential impact on United States economy possibly and unnecessarily thrust into recession due to inevitable hike in crude prices already in effect hurting end consumers and businesses alike.

The contagion effects then triggering Federal Reserve interest rates adjustment to control inflation, high costs borrowing resulting in growth stagnation in return producing unemployment and poor consumer spending eventually affecting the economy at large. 

While these rapid developments cause tremendous stress on the economy, the consequences on macro management could be unsustainable.

United States with a budget deficit of $1.1 Trillion burdened on U.S. taxpayers expecting Petro dollars from Saudi Arabia and partners through arms deals is myopic and capricious in the effort to reconfigure geopolitical landscape and dominance in the Middle East.

United States administration together with allies engaged in contentious economic warfare against Iran through isolation is self-inflicting damage for the former besides the move creating economic challenges for trade allies in South and South East Asia.

United States policy towards the two crude oil producers – Iran and Venezuela aimed at regime change i.e. removal of governments essentially punishing the respective population through economic sanctions subjecting children, women, men, sick and elderly to inhumane conditions and poverty is worthy of condemnation.

Notwithstanding the criterion generating economic woes worldwide considering the rise in oil prices pervasive influence on goods and services with food imports in particular hit in the short and long run.

The wanton strategy to suit oligarchy and hegemonic goals would not prevail in the renewed contemporary environment rejecting unilateralism confined to obsolete and negative outcome.

Besides, Iran in compliance with JCPOA per IAEA verification in this context is within rights to exercise necessary measures to alleviate problems confronting the Islamic Republic.

Iran’s preparedness to block Strait of Hormuz would only exacerbate the crisis in seaborne oil supply dragging the containable issue into tankers war given the significance of this passage facilitating transportation from the Persian Gulf to global destinations.

There is much to lose than profit from the recent proposal to end waivers to nations importing crude oil from Iran.

The sanctions and radical positions against Iran and Venezuela exclusively to serve United States and certain so-called allies is to be reversed in global interests and importantly averting economic calamity drastically affecting the source and others at best laid to rest.

The nuclear power plant in Koodankulam and elsewhere could effectively be converted into solar, biodiesel and biofuel generator becoming the powerhouse for the nation promoting business and employment opportunities at home.

Vegetation from land cultivation for substantial biodiesel, biofuel output maximizing the present use of cow dung, oil yielding plants e.g. Jatropha plant seeds readily usable after extraction without refining process among diverse choices deserve investments to resolve energy crisis.

Modernizing mass transit system to suit commuter convenience could considerably reduce energy consumption.

Simultaneously adjusting urban lifestyle with energy saving appliances and customized routine would cutback energy expenditure.

Indian leaderships in favor of global consensus on arms embargo and nuclear non-proliferation launching ambitious nuclear power programs based on the ‘responsible’ nuclear state perception foment nuclear competitiveness in the region.

Not to mention the conflict of interest in the two dimensional nuclear goals.

Governments around the world increasingly ignoring citizens’ voices misusing people granted power to serve all but the electorate needs.

Electoral mandate is to prioritize immediate and life dependent challenges rather than executing extemporaneous policies evidently detrimental in reality.

The government leaderships and eminent experts are urged to abandon nuclear power for greater good on a broad perspective and,

Change course in energy pursuits adopting pragmatic and peaceful approach to transportation in the high-speed technology age.

Hopefully rationality would prevail in the anti-nuclear settlement with strong political will to accept facts and alleviate citizens’ plight ending the months long non-violent dissent.

Hydrofracking – Endangering Life and Environment

Despite oil spills, mining accidents, gas and nuclear power plant leakages proved catastrophic to life on planet, the exploration continues in defiance of environment laws further endangering lives and livelihoods.

Congressional Democrats investigation revealed the drilling process known as hydrofracking i.e. hydraulic fracking – an operation carried out by the oil and gas industry injecting toxic chemicals into underground bedrocks to extract petroleum and gas is a direct threat to the natural sources of drinking water.

The findings also suggest that the water contamination from the several million gallons of heavily concentrated hazardous chemicals used in the wells is a serious health concern and portends major risks for residents in more than thirteen states across the nation.

Oil companies’ discreet policies and reluctance in complete public disclosure on the chemicals poured in substantial volumes is a greater challenge in identifying the exact chemical compounds presenting an imminent danger to life.

The hydrofracking companies hired by the energy industry are evidently in violation of the safe drinking water act due to the pervasive carcinogenic effects from the harmful agents such as benzene and lead in massive quantities for fossil fuel production.

Democrat lawmakers’ report is an awakening for setting rigorous standards calling for ban on hydrofracking given the devastating impact on water supply and the residue settlements on the wastewater treatment plant for redistribution into the rivers.

With the BP oil spill anniversary on April 20, 2011 it is poignant to recall the irreparable damages caused by the biggest environment disaster yet to be contained in various fronts and,

The subsequent permits issued by the federal agency not to mention the moratorium on offshore drilling lifted even prior to addressing the environmental and economic losses from the negligence as well as delayed action in plugging the hole.

As for the energy industry assuming responsibility in preventing environment degradation –

Unfortunately prolific investments are made in maintaining the status quo and any political efforts in passing legislation successfully derailed through representatives against environment preservation.

These impediments combined with persistent environment abuse prevalent in the exploration techniques contribute to pollution thereby increasing health problems.

Hydofracking is obviously detrimental to health and environment.

The elimination of such dangerous methods is essential to safeguard life and only possible through mass intervention seeking legislative prohibition along with granting authority to EPA in monitoring the abandonment of drilling to sustain purity in natural elements like water.

Clean air and safe drinking water are fundamental requirements for survival and adversely affected by untested and unverifiable applications depleting the vital reserves in the quest for energy fuel.

Affordable alternative energy from solar, wind, water and biofuel are the best hope to meet the growing energy demands across the globe besides providing healthy living conditions for all inhabitants.

Finally sparing Mother Earth from systemic assaults on air, land and water would guarantee the desirable results in promoting life, abundance growth and fair distribution of resources among the nations currently deprived from such access.

Ending hydrofracking and offshore drilling would be choosing to save life over greed driven profits.

Environmental Disaster – Gulf Coast Oil Spill

Ever since the explosion at the oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico that initially claimed 11 lives, the avalanche of unmitigated losses has become the reality.

It is evident in the oil dripping Pelicans, dolphins and lifeless birds alongside the economically devastated fishermen, tourist industry and restaurateurs.

Approximately 1.6 million gallons of oil reportedly gushed from the spill that is yet to be completely contained.

Meanwhile, it has evolved into the economic and environmental disaster for the entire Gulf Coast threatening the inhabitants in the adjacent regions with oil plumes traced as farther in Florida.

Further, the BP oil company liable for the calamity has maintained that it could take until August 2010 to stop the leak in the face of extensive damages to the states near the Gulf Coast.

During the congressional hearing on the major environmental catastrophe, it was clear the BP executives including the federal regulators responsible for monitoring the risks failed in their assessment of the pervasive repercussions from the oceanic accident prior to issuing permits.

Like any other hearing, the company CEOs’ concern for the shareholders interest superseded national interest when they evaded the obvious questions leading to the cause and aftermath of the accident.

The disappointments following the oil spill is the BP’s unsuccessful action to block the leak and more disturbing is the legislators, especially Alaska’s Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski and others rejecting the Democrat Senator Bill Nelson’s bill to increase the cap for oil spill damages to $10 billion from $75 million,

Thereby, eliminating the possibility to hold BP accountable in the greatest man-made environmental destruction.

As it turns out, according to the NYT June 5, 2010 report – titled ‘Gulf Oil Spill’:

“The letter co-signed by Janet Napolitano, the director homeland security, said that federal agencies had already spent $93 million on the spill response, which BP is yet to reimburse.”

When the industry representatives in Congress are in the forefront protecting them from financial liabilities and diligently transferring the burden on the taxpayers,

Besides allowing the federal agency to issue more permits for offshore drilling continuation,

The combined power in Washington and Wall Street determination to ruin the habitat with unsustainable policies is conspicuous.

Not to mention their decisions adding insult to injury endured by ordinary citizens across the coastal region having a ripple effect overall.

The reason to proceed with shallow water or deep water offshore drilling is provided as the necessity to meet the enormous energy requirement in the United States.

With energy and environment directly linked to consumption and conservation, the pursuit of clean energy from natural sources – solar, wind, hydropower and bio-fuel comprise the absolute safe energy solution against the increasingly risky and hazardous resources viz. coal, oil and nuclear energy.

Now the argument is immediate availability of the latter and the projected longer duration to harness the former.

Even though the solar, wind, hydrothermal as well as bio-fuel technology is currently in use, the U.S. investment in these abundant sources is replaced by the energy industry preferred limited resources i.e. oil, coal and nuclear power.

The simple explanation for the less importance to plentiful alternatives over scarce energy resources – which has led to perpetual wars, nuclear proliferation and consequently standoff is profit driven strategy set by the OPEC, ONGC, Coal and Nuclear industry.

Anything that is freely accessible to a large extent with a higher possibility to trade within national and international territories i.e. solar, wind and hydrothermal projects are secondary choices due to the broadening energy supply capabilities inducing competition to the energy monopolies in the industry.

The recent mining accident in Virginia, oil spill in the Gulf Coast, civilian nuclear program used as a pretext for nuclear weapons –

The latest being Myanmar, the military junta is apparently involved in uranium enrichment for a nuclear warhead,

All of it underscore the urgency to adopt energy programs that are environmentally conducive.

In terms of curbing the extraordinary energy demand, the society consuming less and leaning towards environmentally healthy lifestyle is the viable remedy to the burgeoning energy shortage.

For example, California’s recent announcement to ban plastic bags throughout the state and,

Previously guiding the nation on stringent carbon emission standards through EPA regulation to avoid legislative rigmarole are the positive steps to energy saving and life enhancement on earth.

Concentrating on the green technology development to boost green jobs is a favorable short and long term economic and environment goals.

Again, divestment from the conventional minerals to natural elements is the ideal alternative to energy independence.

Unless vigorous investments are made in the solar, wind, hydrothermal, biodiesel etc.,

The world will never be ready to migrate from the life endangering fossil fuel and nuclear energy to the truly green energy production.

Planet sustenance is dependent upon the ecosystem optimized preservation that is violated through prevalent drilling and mining for oil, coal and uranium.

The limitless human wants and desires have contributed to the status quo –

A dire economy, prolonged wars, cataclysmic changes to the environment in the form of extreme drought, flood, tornadoes, hurricane and tsunamis…beyond human control.

It is made worse by the lack of recognition to rein in on the profit oriented energy opportunities depleting the earth’s resources with no regard for the present or the future.

If the energy industry giants conscientiously engage in the energy derivation from sun, wind, water and bio-fuel the demand and the affordability factor can be effectively addressed, particularly with the hydrosphere phenomena –

Oceans covering the two-thirds of the earth’s surface supplemented by sunshine and windy conditions in the equatorial zones.

Instead, polluting and contaminating the natural habitat through risky mechanisms is opted regardless of the carnage from it.

Notwithstanding, the democratic powers political appeasement of the “Petro-dictatorial” regimes merely to replenish the ever growing contemporaneous energy needs.

There are several ways to relieve the society from the energy deficiency.

Reducing the usage and maximizing the above outlined potentials is the origin to end the energy and environment crisis.

Manufacturing and distribution of eco-friendly products and services is an emerging trend but not popularized in practice.

The existing problems related to the economy, energy, environment and political issues are attributed to excess greed, self-interest and dominance ultimately affecting all.

Unfortunately, the political and economic powers resist the environmental dangers in the Gulf coast oil spill and a range of energy industry mishaps for they refuse to steer away from the traditional means irrespective of the tragic outcome.

Expecting different results from the same methods fits the fantasy than the fact.

The position on the ‘presumed’ job losses from these sectors as the justification to resume offshore drilling in spite of massive environmental harm does not bode well for it ignores the similar, if not severe economic experience by the local industries and residents affected in the oil soaked areas.

Moreover, the energy industry is being requested to retain the workforce and not abandon them by diverting to solar, wind, hydrothermal and bio-fuel sources that aptly qualify as –

“Clean energy substitutes.”

Collective reaction rather than actions is witnessed in the Gulf oil spill with BP not demonstrating the ability to terminate the leak altogether into the seventh week of the horrific incident, rendering the numerous livelihood and lives dispensable.

Monetary compensation to the victims and the states impacted by BP’s negligence is the least the oil company could offer in this instance.

Marine life has been significantly impaired creating an ecological imbalance reflective in the deteriorating food pyramid.

Offshore drilling moratorium is negated by simultaneous shallow water drilling permits despite no guarantee in the so-called ‘risk free’ process.

Conflicting preparations are detrimental to the planet, the natural habitat for all species.

Energy challenges in the modern era are best dealt with natural and holistic approach.

Gulf Coast oil spill is just the tip of the iceberg in the energy exploration.

WASHINGTON – The House prepared to adjourn for the year Monday with no deal on a major tax relief package, increasing the odds that businesses will lose out on critical tax breaks and millions could get hit by the alternative minimum tax this year.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., suggested that it might be next year before consensus can be reached on a tax initiative that includes adjusting the AMT, providing tax relief to disaster victims and extending tax credits for renewable energy development, business investment and individual education and child care costs.

Lawmakers in both the House and Senate stressed that the bill would create tens of thousands of jobs and contribute to the nation’s energy independence. But House Democrats insisted that more of the package, totaling $138 billion in House bills, be paid for so as not to increase the deficit. Senate Republicans, averse to new taxes, said any changes in the Senate-passed tax bill would kill the entire package.

The House “has taken the morally and fiscally responsible position,” said Rep. Mike Ross, D-Ark., a leader of the 49-member Blue Dogs, a group of fiscally conservative Democrats. Meanwhile, “Republicans in the Senate continue to hold up this important legislation,” he said.

As Ross spoke, across the Capitol Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., tried to bring up a House-passed bill dealing with renewable energy and extension of business and individual tax breaks that expired last year or will lapse at the end of this year. Republicans objected to consideration of the bill.

Reid acknowledged that “we can’t get it done” because Senate Democrats don’t have the votes to move the bill without GOP cooperation. He said he hoped the Blue Dogs “would understand we are not trying to embarrass them or anyone else.”

Hoyer, joining the Blue Dogs at a news conference, said “there’s not an intention” to return to Washington after the House votes on the financial bailout bill and adjourns Monday afternoon.
“I’m going to continue to work with Sen. Reid to see what can be done even if it is next year,” he said.

That delay would be a blow, at least temporarily, to a wide group of business and individual taxpayers. Without congressional action, those affected by the AMT, originally aimed at just a few very rich tax dodgers, would grow from around 4 million to up to 26 million. Those hit by the tax, most earning less than $200,000, would pay an average extra tax of $2,000.

The solar industry alone has estimated that it could create more than 400,000 jobs if it receives an eight-year extension of its investment tax credit.

“With hundreds of thousands of American jobs and billions of dollars in clean energy investment at risk, we urge congressional leaders not to leave for the election recess” until reaching an agreement, the CEOs of national hydropower, geothermal, solar and wind energy associations said in a statement.

Business groups have warned of serious repercussions if Congress does not renew the R&D credit, which expired at the end of last year, and various advocacy groups have pleaded for renewals of individual tax breaks affecting those paying college tuition, those from states with state and local sales taxes and teachers with out-of-pocket expenses.

The Senate last week, on a 93-2 vote, passed a massive package that included AMT relief, $8 billion in tax relief for those hit by natural disasters in the Midwest, Texas and Louisiana, and some $78 billion in renewal energy incentives and extensions of expiring tax breaks. In a compromise worked out with Republicans, the bill does not pay for the AMT and disaster provisions but does have revenue offsets for part of the energy and extension measures.

That wasn’t enough for the House, which insisted that there be complete offsets for the energy and extension part of the package.

Fiscal irresponsibility was a major factor in Wall Street’s meltdown and the need for Congress to step in with a bailout plan, said Rep. Dennis Cardoza, D-Calif. “It’s time for us to say no more.”
The House included steps to boost tax revenues from the oil and gas industries and close loopholes used by hedge fund managers and corporations to avoid taxes on their overseas incomes.
Senators also included in their bill a far-reaching measure to ensure parity in insurance benefits for mental health problems.

Review and Analysis: The democratic society exercise voting rights to elect a representative in Congress and Senate to address issues affecting their daily lives and pass necessary legislation to primarily benefit the people through businesses and other economic infrastructure.

The legislators’ “priorities” from the above article should be of concern to the constituents. Their decision to leave for the election recess “after having returned from a long recess in August”, without reaching an agreement on issues like energy independence, tax relief to millions in small businesses, education and childcare costs reflects minimal importance to major economic crisis.

With election around the corner, it is important for legislators to recognize their obligations to the electorate and fulfill the commitments in restoring the nation back on track. In a gloomy economic climate, that is saddled with multi-trillion dollar debt conveniently passed on to the hard working lower and middle income groups struggling to meet ends, vacation should be the last thing on the mind of the lawmakers.

The electorate should demand that their elected officials resolve all of the above issues related to tax initiative that includes adjusting the AMT, providing tax relief to disaster victims and extending tax credits for renewable energy development, business investment and individual education and childcare costs with no further procrastination.

To quote the House Speaker “Nancy Pelosi” at the announcement of bailout deal “The Party is over” not just for the “Wall Street” but the entire “Power” specifically elected for policymaking and solving problems confronting the nation at all fronts.

When the “Presidential candidates” are advocating “performance based” salaries for “teachers” and others , the same principle should apply to “Washington” and “Wall Street” that are primarily responsible for the current economic mess.

The voter frustration and disappointment with “Washington” and “Wall Street” should be clearly demonstrated in the forthcoming electoral process.
