Egyptian Revolution Latest Political Development

February 7, 2011

By Padmini Arhant

President Hosni Mubarak firing party officials and internal modifications within NDP are welcome.

However the President’s decision to remain as the party chief and the head of the state whether official or ceremonial is unwise due to public rejection in this regard. It also exacerbates the political situation.

The corruption allegations and other political issues against the ruling NDP (National Democratic Party) members is indicative of the rationale that they would not have been in a position to act independently without the party’s prior knowledge or approval.

Such anomalies signify leadership failure for a dominant political party having claimed electoral victory in all three unopposed general elections over three decades.

Initial round of talks between government and opposition to study reforms is appreciative.

Again the meeting held without the youth activists – the revolution organizers and the stake holders is incomplete in representation adapting to the exclusive instead of inclusive process.

Upon imminent Presidential resignation the speaker of the house is to assume the head of the state position in accordance with Egyptian constitution to prepare the nation for a democratic election in 60 days.

As discussed at the meeting the following Presidential actions are necessary from the interim government for any further development in the political standoff.

Presidential decrees to amend articles 76, 77 conforming to democratic principles are crucial to move forward in constitutional reform.

The referenced articles are related to Presidential election that currently allows the Mubarak’s ruling party to choose the successor for unlimited terms.

Additionally dissolving the Parliament, lifting President Mubarak imposed indefinite state of emergency and exonerating all political detainees in government possession are significant for fruitful negotiations among various political factions.

It would be enormously helpful to implement them now and not differ until March 2011 to mitigate growing tension between the government and the main street.

Moreover procrastination on urgent national matter generates a perception among frustrated public at breaking point as President Mubarak government excuse to prolong undemocratic rule.

Meanwhile the peripheral U.S. efforts with the Mubarak government to remain in power essentially qualify as candid endorsement of status quo.

Nonetheless it is conveyed as a conciliatory message to the oppressed population despite these steps not representing the fundamental change required in Egyptian political landscape.

Hence the Egyptian President immediate resignation as the party chief and the head of the state is paramount to facilitate meaningful democracy in Egypt and elsewhere.

According to AFP news report published Monday, February 07, 2011 – Thank you.

Clinton hints at unease over early Mubarak exit

“Clinton said retired diplomat Frank Wisner, whom Obama sent to Mubarak with a message last week, did “not speak for the administration” when he said the Egyptian leader should stay in office during the transition.

She, like other members of the administration, have distanced themselves from Wisner’s remarks but have not actually said he was wrong.

“President Mubarak’s continued leadership is critical,” Wisner told the Munich Security Conference, the same one Clinton attended.

“It’s his opportunity to write his own legacy. He has given 60 years of his life to the service of his country, this is an ideal moment for him to show the way forward,” Wisner said.

Clinton also praised Mubarak for the steps he had taken toward his own political exit and to ensure that his son Gamal – whom protesters fear is being groomed as the next president – would not succeed him.

“They have to be viewed as an important set of steps that he has taken to keep the movement” toward a transition going, she said.”

Egyptian Revolution…contd. – By Padmini Arhant

United States standing by their ally President Hosni Mubarak for strategic purpose rather than liberating the persecuted Egyptian people is ironic considering the self-pride and admiration as the world’s ideal democracy.

Anything other than that would be synonymous to U.S. and allies appointed governments in Afghanistan, Iraq and now Egypt to proclaim supremacy at the 80 million population plight directly contributing to the propagated fundamentalism and radicalism – premise used in prolific arms trade and perpetual warfare.

The global poverty and human suffering predominantly attributed to foreign power conglomerate’s dogmatic policy in the Middle East and across the world notwithstanding the widespread detrimental effects in disease, terrorism and environment.

Egyptian revolution is the result of discriminatory strategies implemented throughout the region post world war II with little or no respect for the general population struggle under democratic governments backed totalitarianism.

United States, France and Saudi Arabia successfully led the recent democratic government collapse in Lebanon strictly for political reasons and,

Contrarily in Egypt the citizens uprising against autocratic rule challenged with violence by the dictatorship encouraged to stay in power against strong public protest.

The foreign powers enforced double standards in the region for political dominance and economic gains has corroded the trust between the oppression sponsors and the victims – the beleaguered citizenry and,

Further foment anti-sentiments evolving into terrorism – the major threat to international security.

While these interventional powers cherish democracy in the domestic front with human rights violation against targeted groups in the backdrop,

The systemic obstruction in native driven non-violent pro-democracy movement is a serious credibility factor as the reliable peace broker besides defining the established complacency to despotism for vested interests.

It is important to realize that the people in the revolution are enduring extreme adversity to achieve political freedom.

They have been camping out on the streets and surviving on the extraordinary human spirits shared among the vast majority unlike the authority’s residence in a Presidential palace.

Therefore expediting the conflict resolution in republic favor with the President resignation would conclude the Pharaoh rule and mark the beginning of a democratic system.

The political arrests of media personnel during the pro-Mubarak groups’ attacks against unarmed civilians last week are unacceptable especially when NDP is claiming to crackdown on unruly and unethical conduct.

In this context, the news report – “Egypt’s security services have arrested Al Jazeera bureau chief in Cairo Abdel Fattah Fayed and the journalist Ahmed Yousef,” the pan-Arab channel, banned since last Sunday from operating in Egypt, reported on its website.

The Egyptian government is obliged to release Al Jazeera and other news media representatives unlawfully held against the international law on Free Speech, Freedom of Press and Peaceful Assembly.

Preliminary step to democracy is civil rights recognition and the incumbent authorities’ positive response by releasing journalists, news media staff members, political prisoners and peace activists held in custody are instrumental to promote confidence with the protesters and international community at large.

The news regarding the Google Middle East and North Africa representative Wael Ghonim’s release agreement by the authorities is a progressive trend and praiseworthy.

As stated earlier intentions swiftly exemplified in delivery would always enhance better relationship in disputes.

Egypt crisis could not be resolved to republic satisfaction until the mass plea to end President Hosni Mubarak era is honored with integrity confirming the foreign powers non-interference in Egyptian political mandate.

Such action would provide the Egyptian electorate an opportunity to elect a leader pledged to Egypt sovereignty that guarantees political freedom, social justice and equality leading to economic prosperity for all.

President Hosni Mubarak has served for 30 long years and it is time to step down with dignity enabling peaceful political transition suppressed since republic declaration in 1953.

Wishing phenomenal success to Egypt Revolution in the political strife for freedom and urge the authorities to cooperate for rapid democratic evolution.

Thank you.

Egyptian Revolution for President Hosni Mubarak Resignation

February 5, 2011

By Padmini Arhant

President Hosni Mubarak defiance to republic call for his immediate resignation is prolonging the political standoff between the people and leadership.

The Egyptian President expressed strong desire to leave office in a public statement – “I am fed up of being President for thirty long years and I wish to quit now.”

Accordingly the resignation was expected from the leader for peaceful political transition after the national conflict having claimed many innocent lives and brought the country to the brink of civil war.

Now the dramatic decision to stay in power and political imprisonment of the uprising organizers as witnessed with the people representative and Parliament opposition leader Ayman Nour recently is counterproductive for the leadership and against national interest.

Further in the latest CNN interview – THE SITUATION ROOM – Thank you.

Aired February 4, 2011 – 18:00 ET

AHMED ABUL GHEIT, EGYPTIAN FOREIGN MINISTER: We Egyptians do not like opposition from abroad. And —

HALA GORANI, CNN CORRESPONDENT: But this is your own people asking you to do this.

GHEIT: No, no. It is not our own people.

GORANI: There are protesters out there saying we want…

(CROSSTALK)

GHEIT: The president is to transform the country. And we, all of us will transform the country not through chaos, but we will transform the country through an orderly transformation.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

BLITZER: All right. Let’s bring in professor Fouad Ajami. He’s director of Middle East studies at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and from Los Angeles, the Egyptian-born journalist, the award-winning columnist Mona Eltahawy.

Mona, you just heard the foreign minister say, give them patience. They can work this out. It might take a few more months, but President Mubarak has to stay in power and get the job done in an orderly way.

What do you say to him?

MONA ELTAHAWY, JOURNALIST & COMMENTATOR: I say to him that the Mubarak regime right now sounds like a bunch of old men who are terrified at the thought that a youth-driven revolution is about to unseat them.

And they can’t get over it. It’s paternalism at its worst. And they’re doing is they’re acting like this very strict father who want to scare his children into begging him to stay.

It’s absolute nonsense that this has to do with the outside, when Tahrir Square and other cities around Egypt have told Mubarak very clearly, go now.

ELTAHAWY: I would tell the Obama administration very clearly that the Egyptian people have spoken loudly. Millions of them have turned out in the streets to answer the call for freedom in Egypt.

And the Mubarak regime is just buying time. If the Mubarak regime were serious about this peaceful transfer of power, they would, for example, release a young man called Wael Ghonim, who is Google’s Middle East and North Africa man, a geek, a tech guy, who they arrested, that they have had him in custody now for days. And hopefully they’re not torturing the hell out of him.

But he offers no concessions whatsoever. Instead, the Mubarak regime is trying to frighten the Egyptian public, is trying to divide it, when it knows its time is up. The international community should cut aid to the Mubarak regime and freeze Mubarak’s assets until he finally answers his people’s call and leaves.”

By Padmini Arhant – Egyptian Revolution…contd.

It is clear from the reports that President Mubarak latest position to continue in office and his administration rhetoric to citizens’ peaceful protest exacerbates the political quagmire with explicit plan to strengthen status quo eliminating democratic possibilities at the remotest extent.

President Hosni Mubarak and cabinet members are either incognizant or fallacious in the proposal antithetical to main street emphatic demand for the President and the entire regime termination from office.

The notion that the nation will crumble upon their cessation in power is presumptuous and an insult to injury for a society of 80 million population with young, energetic, intelligent professionals and dedicated political leaders deprived an opportunity to confirm the reality up until now.

President Hosni Mubarak and the loyalists have lost credibility not only among the Egyptian electorate treated as subjects under the repressive government but also in the international domain contributing to allies’ image salvation following the violent crackdown to suppress pro-democracy peace movement.

Any democratic nation contemplating aid withdrawal to totalitarianism cannot be representative of democratic values conspicuously rejected in President Hosni Mubarak era and the rest of Middle East.

As stated earlier, Egypt political showdown is turned into a theatrical exhibit by the embattled President and affiliates in their relentless pursuit for dominance against republic will.

From the streets in Paris to Cairo – economic and political decisions detrimental to en masse are being imposed in the so-called democracy to proclaim supremacy nearing end despite concerted efforts to thwart the inevitable demise.

It is important for global citizens to rise peacefully and non-violently against any form of threat to their dignified existence with political freedom, social equality and justice ultimately enabling economic prospects for all.

Please remember the Velvet Revolution – a non-violent revolution (November 17 – December 29, 1989) in Czechoslovakia (known as Velvet revolution in Czech and Gentle revolution in Slovak) that precipitated the communist government overthrow with Czech Republic and Slovak Republic respectively emerging in orderly yet decisive manner to people contentment –

The government dismantled with President Gustáv Husák resignation on December 10, 1989 facilitating the June 1990 first democratic elections since 1946.

Lately Tunisian citizens proved in their battle against corrupt dictatorial power that peaceful and non-violent republic revolution is historically a powerful mechanism to implement authentic change in a society.

Likewise people in Egypt have demonstrated remarkable solidarity and steel resolve in their plea for President Hosni Mubarak and the establishment dismissal with initial conciliatory reaction resulting in the authority’s contradictory action legitimizing the urgency to deter authoritarian rule.

The U.S and allies operation in Iraq targeted the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein’s residential palaces to oust the adversary by force.

However, the situation in Egypt committed to non-violence and peaceful political evolution can be expedited with honor rather than humiliation for the reluctant authorities.

Again President Hosni Mubarak evidently adamant to retain control not on his volition in the prominent external influence.

Nonetheless the leader is presented with a unique moment to acknowledge the people political mandate for instant exit leading to fundamental change in Egyptian politics.

President Hosni Mubarak is also reminded of the fact that those advising the leader to procrastinate departure in the hope of quelling dissent based on earlier experience are challenging the revolution resilience vowed to prevail this time considering public frustration at breaking point over thirty years of oppression.

Besides the leader should realize that ill-advisers are always the first to flee and disavow ties once the wheels fly off the wagon. If the unfolding scenario has not disillusioned the President then unfortunately it is analogous to seeking oasis in a barren desert.

Therefore the saving grace in this political crisis would be to accept the development in republic favor and resign from office with dignity.

The incumbent government is obliged to release the political prisoners like the initiators behind the peace march and Wael Ghonim – the individual allegedly held in custody on false convictions. Positive response in this context would alleviate existing anti-government sentiments among the vast majority.

Egypt revolution must maintain their non-violent peaceful decorum displayed until now and persevere in the path to victory.

It is equally imperative to refrain from allowing puppet figures launched by foreign powers for their strategic gains rather than Egyptian citizens’ progress in the changing political event.

The Egyptian military continuous law and order enforcement without any harm to civilians or private and public property would unequivocally ease any tensions in the imminent political transformation with President Hosni Mubarak and cabinet replacement.

Defense personnel primary obligation is national security by protecting citizens from domestic and overseas aggression.

The measures adopted on February 4, 2011 is proved effective in promoting peaceful environment and would be beneficial to extend until the crisis is resolved to republic satisfaction.

It is evident from the two weeks peace rally for paradigm shift in Egyptian political concept that autocracy cannot win at all costs and eventually succumb to people power in human history.

Egypt sovereignty and republic future can no longer be determined by undemocratic discretionary powers.

People in Egypt must succeed in their political goals and gain momentum in peaceful approach for democracy.

You have international community blessings and support to assist in your political endeavor.

The global citizens are urged to stand by the Egyptian people in this noble humanitarian cause.

Please remain calm but do not compromise on your political aspirations for you will triumph against pseudo power.

Good Luck to Egypt patriots for a successful political achievement.

Thank you.

Pro-Mubarak Attackers Assault on Journalists

February 3, 2011

By Padmini Arhant

President Hosni Mubarak supporters’ assault on journalists, human rights activists and unarmed civilians is demonstrative of the chaos created to thwart peaceful transformation.

International community is urged to expedite President Hosni Mubarak resignation to end conflict fueled by state sponsored mob attacks reported as targeted and extremely violent.

The nation is deliberately led into civil warfare confirming the current leadership failure to maintain law and order.

In view of the deteriorating situation attributed to pro-Mubarak groups’ criminal conduct, the President’s immediate resignation is required for national security.

Thank you.

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak Resignation

February 3, 2011

By Padmini Arhant

President Hosni Mubarak expressing desire to quit needs to be exemplified in action with immediate resignation from office.

The President’s resignation in honor of the republic will for a fundamental political transformation would resolve the national conflict and prevent further exacerbation of political unrest having claimed many lives.

President Hosni Mubarak concern for the violence in Tahrir Square, Cairo is appreciative.

However the situation is predominantly attributed to state-sponsored infiltration in the peaceful and non-violent demonstration thus far resulting in casualties that are unacceptable.

The government bears responsibility to citizens’ safety and national security. It is imperative for the deployed military personnel to restore law and order.

Those in violation of the law are to be isolated from the peaceful protesters and security measures enforced to terminate clashes between the pro and anti-government rallies.

The current situation is to be brought under control in a non-violent and peaceful manner.

Meanwhile, President Hosni Mubarak should deliver message to the people on state television confirming the resignation from office and appeal to his supporters as well as protesters to accept the latest development peacefully in national interest.

Subsequent to Presidential resignation, the government is to adopt the constitutional rule of law and prepare the nation for the democratic Presidential election.

Citizens in Egypt are presented with unique opportunity for a new beginning. Hence their commitment to nation building in a democratic environment would not be feasible without peace and unity among different groups in the society.

It is important for the Egyptian population to come together in solidarity with a solemn pledge to serve and defend the nation for common good.

On that optimistic note – Wishing the land of ancient civilization a magnificent future.

Congratulations! To the Egyptian Republic on the birth of democracy with abundant peace and prosperity for all.

Thank you.

Instigated Violence in Egypt Revolution

February 3, 2011

By Padmini Arhant

The ongoing pro-democracy citizens’ march in Egypt is mired by state-sponsored brutal attacks against unarmed peaceful protesters left to fend for themselves on the international community watch.

In the twenty first century – humanity might have made tremendous progress in the attempt to re-enact universe creation and space exploration for alternative inhabitation.

However, unfortunately in humanitarian matter the contemporary period reflects the medieval times savagery to rein control over the innocent Egyptian people oppressed and persecuted for three decades by the democratic governments backed dictatorship.

The message from powerful nation on Egypt uprising as an internal affair and advising against external interference would be credible upon similar policy then preventing the invasion of sovereign Iraq with coalition forces from 35 countries under false pretext justified as the liberation cause through military aggression resulting in perpetual carnage and destruction until now.

Furthermore, mankind failure to recognize the consequences of apathy attributed to twentieth century holocaust leading to World War II and subsequent erroneous actions till today are largely responsible for human suffering.

President Hosni Mubarak evidently is not acting on his volition to stay in power.

The global organization orchestrating the terrible monstrosity under the guise of world leadership to proclaim dominance is self-misguided and impaired by false presumptions in the Machiavellian pursuit -the end justifies the means.

According to the news reports – the state instigated anarchy and violence with paid mob attacks against peaceful participants for freedom while the Egyptian army funded by U.S. military aid around $1.7 billion is a spectator to the provocative incidents defying military code of honor to protect lives and defend the nation from domestic as well as overseas infiltration.

The security personnel in civilian attire involved in the human casualties are deployed as servitudes depicting ancient rule to guard singular entity – President Hosni Mubarak advised by foreign sources to prolong the crisis despite the 80 million population decry and demand for immediate resignation from office.

President Hosni Mubarak insincere offer to negotiate with opposition signifies western powers strategy to marginalize the historic political transformation regarded an impediment to economic colonization and political imperialism in the region.

Adapting to the so-called war on terror policy –non-negotiation with terrorists would synonymously apply to autocratic rule.

Again selective amnesia is not uncommon in politics.

In 2003 the U.S. and allies rejected peace activists’ call for due diligence preceding the illegal military attack exhibited in shock and awe and occupation of Iraq.

It was then followed by authorized execution of the adversary (previously an ally) the former President Saddam Hussein in public view widely televised as the good triumphs over evil.

Although the Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein’s atrocities within society in semblance to Egypt and other Middle East nations or elsewhere was widely known,

The urgency to eliminate the leadership emanated from the political conviction on Iraqi leaders’ imminent threat to U.S. and allies viz. Saudi Arabia…using non-traceable WMD, unsubstantiated links to 9/11 and Al-Qaeda among the prominent falsified reasons notwithstanding the economic dispute over Iraqi government nationalization of oil fields at that time.

Therefore the instruction to refrain from serving ultimatums to a totalitarian government under their embattled ally President Hosni Mubarak overtly backed by powerful democracies is hypocrisy at the least and reprehensible in reality.

President Hosni Mubarak and puppet figure heads controlled by the shadow world government maintaining authority on global resources and territories ought to reconcile terms with evolution through revolution determined to succeed against forces denying life existence driven by excess greed contributing to the status quo.

Reiterating the truth – Mortality is the shared destiny with individual deeds their testimony in life.

Egypt population non-violent plea for democracy deserves global empathy exemplified through international solidarity in delivering the legitimate outcome – terminating President Hosni Mubarak term in office effective immediately.

International condemnation to the crime against humanity in Egypt and alike would expedite the inevitable success.

Procrastination in compliance to public request would be unwise for the leadership and the affiliates.

The long overdue change can no longer be thwarted by the powerful and would be implemented regardless in a natural process.

Egyptian citizens having endured tyranny thus far must not lose hope for the plight is nearing end.

It is crucial for demonstrators to sustain their steel resolve through peace and non-violence and not relent in the quest for political freedom.

People in Egypt are part of the world society and injustice towards one is injustice against all.

The global citizens are urged to come forward and extend their overwhelming support to the noble cause – Republic power and real democracy in Egypt.

Best wishes to fellow citizens in Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, Algeria… for a glorious victory in the dawn of democracy.

Thank you.

Middle East Republic Revolution

February 2, 2011

By Padmini Arhant

The pro-democracy protest in Egypt is currently developed into Million Citizens March demanding the dictatorial power resignation remaining defiant in prolonging the undemocratic rule.

Meanwhile the latest report on February 1, 2011 from Washington D.C. issued by the U.S. State Department is –

“State Dept. spokesman P.J. Crowley reiterated the White House’s position that President Mubarak must enact political and economic reforms as he pledged. We want to see concrete actions that show the government of Egypt is responding to the aspirations of the Egyptian people.”

For the U.S. administration’s kind information – the aspirations of the Egyptian people is the removal of repressive regime headed by their embattled ally President Hosni Mubarak.

Ignoring the republic will for fundamental change beginning with the head of the state is categoric refusal of real democracy for vested interests.

Further the U.S. double standards in foreign policy is accentuated through staunch support for totalitarian governments across the Middle East with selective elimination of adversary (once an ally) Iraq’s former President Saddam Hussein through warfare while protecting the strategic partner President Hosni Mubarak against Egyptian citizens’ peaceful plea for his ousting.

Again the differential policy maintained despite widespread persecution and human rights violation throughout West Asia.

It is ominously clear that such discriminatory foreign policy foments disenfranchisement contributing to the status quo.

Tunisian deposed leader Ben Ali and now Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak as well as several other U.S allies would not be in power without the established complacency to despotism.

Until today Iraq war architects vehemently defend the illegal invasion and occupation in the face of prevalent chaos and destruction with millions of displaced Iraqis having become refugees in their homeland and significant population stranded in the neighboring nations.

The U.S. justification on military aggression at phenomenal loss of human lives and economic costs was democratic Iraq and ending Saddam Hussein’s brutal era.

If the western criteria on Middle East and any Islamic nation democracy is nominating puppet figure as the head of the state implementing autocratic rule to contain fundamentalism or radicalism although emanating from the biased policy with mediocre economic standards to inhibit political transformation in semblance to People’s Republic of China- i.e. state controlled free market economy with no political freedom,

It is noteworthy that Iraq was economically stable with decent health care, higher education facilities, solid infrastructure and poignantly no Al-Qaeda or Iranian regime infiltration prior to 2003 military attack and subsequently the U.S. appointed pro-Iranian government with Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki yet to stabilize the beleaguered nation from foreign troops.

Egypt population comparatively disadvantaged with distinct socio-economic disparities under U.S. and allies favored President Hosni Mubarak.

The U.S. stance in Egyptian uprising and the rest of Middle East is diametrically opposed to American democratic values – the so-called political and economic reforms cannot be realistic with unpopular leader President Hosni Mubarak given the trajectory over three decades.

The massive corruption and political suppression with concentrated power among the affluent members in the society is forced upon the people regardless of the devastating impact up until now.

It is deeply regrettable that those nations taking pride in individual liberty and political freedom at home are instrumental in safeguarding the illegitimate governments – monarchy, theocracy… anything except democracy in the Arab world and China.

Appointing new Prime Minister and reshuffling cabinets are ad hoc responses purely for self-salvation and compliance to foreign powers influence for prolonging authoritarianism.

It does not necessarily address the immediate requirement and that being the dynasties and theocracy renunciation of power to allow republic governance through free and fair elections with candidates endured suffering like political imprisonment for years and fought against government abuse of power by remaining in the country experiencing national political struggle.

In Egypt the opposition leader Ayman Abd El Aziz Nour imprisoned for political dissidence from 2005 to 2009 by President Hosni Mubarak and recently hospitalized for sustaining injury during peaceful protest on January 28, 2011 is committed to human rights, constitutional reform limiting Presidential powers and opening Presidential elections to multiple candidates.

People in Egypt would enormously benefit from choosing a local resident leader like Ayman Nour for having demonstrated loyalty to the people through self-sacrifice and continue to pledge support for Egypt liberation.

Moreover there is prominent commonality between the leader Ayman Nour and Egyptian main street in many aspects – the present ruling power abuse in particular and could relate to the plight on personal accounts.

Any other choices for political leadership ex-IAEA Chief Mohammed El Baradei with excess western exposure and regional power intimacy would be susceptible to skepticism among wary political factions and may not sustain power leading to destabilization within a short period.

Therefore providing opportunity to young vibrant leaderships such as Ayman Nour – national university law graduate with verifiable service to the local population would set precedence for future political aspirants considering a vast majority likely to obtain higher education from within the country due to individual situations and financial reasons.

Egypt will be strong and stable under democratic system represented by leadership dedicated to national progress devoid of foreign intervention either western or regional predominantly responsible for political mayhem as witnessed in Iraq.

People in Egypt could realize their political dream through unity and resilience paramount to prevail against the power hungry external sources backed government.

President Mubarak declaration not to run for office next term is nothing but desperate times seeking desperate measures.

The message from the Egyptian patriots is clear – President Hosni Mubarak must step down and procrastination in departure would exacerbate political crisis having already claimed many lives.

Egyptian citizens should not be disheartened from the delay tactics and political maneuvering – not uncommon for authority unwilling to surrender especially amid their crumbling world thereby confirming the self-interest over national interest.

They decline defeat – the destiny and their denial in this regard is the irony.

The pro-democracy demonstrators determined to succeed against all odds would initially conquer fear nonetheless in strict adherence to peace and non-violence – a formidable challenge against any force.

Likewise the mass movement in Jordan determined to abolish monarchy continued in the modern twenty first century would be wise to reject the political appointments carried out under global society privileged members’ instructions to rein control over domestic affairs in the entire Middle East for economic colonization and political dominance.

It is time for every Middle Eastern citizen subject to tyranny emulate Tunisian achievement in people power dismissal of the repressive government.

Whether it is Iran, Syria, Jordan, Palestine – besieged Gaza, West Bank and East Jerusalem, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Qatar, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan…or Egypt – to rise to political awakening and restore inalienable human rights for all are born to be free and not held in permanent confinement at the elitists behest.

All things must end for a peaceful new beginning. Democracy is meaningful with public participation in electoral process to elect representatives and leaders with political will, courage, integrity and above all exemplify the solemn oath towards national defense, social equality including women empowerment, universal peace and prosperity.

Any security or armed personnel violence against peaceful dissidents would be self-detrimental for the authorities and restraining use of force is highly recommended.

Similarly looting and vandalism is unacceptable jeopardizing the non-violent civilian peace activity nearing victory for democracy. Those indulging in criminal offense should be apprehended to save lives and prevent damages to private or public property.

People power as patriotic caretakers of a sovereign nation is the inevitable outcome and accepting reality would enable authority to leave in dignity.

Best Wishes and Good Luck to fellow citizens in Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, Algeria, Sudan, Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Palestine…in their triumph over political tribulation.

Peace to all!

Thank you.
