United States politics prioritizing saving democracy at home prior to democratizing rest of the world would conform to getting own house in order before minding other’s domain.

The ongoing Senate debate in the United States on remedial measures to fix the largely broken system beginning with electoral process together with other fundamental underlying problems is an urgent requirement.

The democrat party stance against presentation of valid ID and proof of citizenship that guarantees voter right in accordance with Constitutional law to elect representatives at local municipal level to national level is an open violation undermining clean effective democracy.

The Republican debate on this issue to validate every vote with verified government approved ID and citizenship is a rule that would be a natural embodiment of election from local to federal law.

The other contentious issues maligning democratic electoral norms are mail-in-ballots with the exception of defense force and diplomatic emissary deployment overseas, and domestically citizens unable to cast ballots due to health conditions and other unavoidable circumstances granting them the mail service, otherwise the mail-in-ballots is also another avenue for mass voting irregularities that has been proven in earlier national, state and local elections.

Above all, the focus on the reversal of Supreme Court ruling in Citizens United vs. Federal Election Commission would demonstrate a serious commitment to restore democracy in the prevalent political decadent era. 

The landmark Supreme Court verdict under then democrat administration in 2010 on Citizens United vs. Federal Election Commission in favor of corporations and Unions alike allowed them unlimited independent political spending via quid pro quo contributions significantly increasing the influence of money in politics.

The status quo exponentially drowning ordinary electorate voice across the spectrum is a major debacle for a democracy touted as the beacon worthy of emulation.

The United States Supreme Court decision on this matter citing First Amendment free speech protection to corporations and Unions on monetization of politics, while ignoring the corrosive impact in watering down the absolute necessary limitations in place on corporations, Unions and diverse special interests preceding this ruling proven a judicial assault under political guidance in 2010 on democracy.
As a result, the democratic election is transformed into highest bidder bargain auction.

The imitation of anything bad is swift and expeditious in politics.

The so-called world’s largest democracy, India immediately followed suit in enacting the same law with unanimous vote across party lines to exploit opportunity in receiving campaign finance from whomsoever and wherever including foreign governments and those publicly identified as enemies on territorial annexations, and various allied interests to control election under the guise of democracy.

The Indian political action introduced Electoral Bonds Scheme, which allowed anonymous donations to political parties without disclosure of donor identities.

There is no doubt the fate of democracy is critically hanging in balance in nations viz. United States and India promoted as model of democracy for the remaining world with power quest dominant in overriding constitutional framework for exclusive and vested interests.

As such, the democrat party in 2024 Presidential election discarded democrat primary invalidating own democrat base in the brazen coup dètat launching own preferred Presidential candidacy with foreign political (Indian & Israeli lobby) collusion, despite the candidate Kamala Emhoff Harris failed Presidential bid in 2019, as the first candidate to exit the democrat primary race in the democrat base declined choice.

Furthermore, the democrat political party selection criteria in Presidential election subject to affluent influential Super delegates comprising wealthy, governmental and hierarchy based members’ preference superseding the democrat base election in the primary, the format typically null and void the democrat primary voting.

The archaic tradition is yet another irony of all for a political party stated democrat in a system declared a democracy.

The democrat party in the United States heavily relying on mail-in-ballots, voting without valid ID, freebies thrown such as in the last year’s 2025 New York Mayoral election enticing targeted non-taxpaying electorate with free bus rides, the freebie albeit burdened on the other electorate as taxpayer is a routine political strategy.

However, the same democrat political party slackening essential rules on voting procedures obviously for political vantage pursue the politically targeted taxpayers  in democrat party governed California State adopting unscrupulous means i.e. extortion by levying illegal penalty and interests on taxes paid on and well before due date under the pretext of rule of law that is selectively applied against those in the target list.

Either rules apply to all or none. Any rule that is arbitrary against selective victimization in the so-called democracy is worse than a banana republic and systems unambiguously authoritarian. 

The rule of exception and exemptions exercised by politics for political expediency has landed democracy in the discretionary chamber of legislative branch and politics appointed judiciary.

Meanwhile, the poor too poor to pay taxes and the wealthy too rich to waste in taxes, leaving the average wage earners and struggling businesses to bear the unbearable economic burden under the strict imposition of law against ordinary taxpayers in the economy.

The policies and strategy are justified democratic in the most undemocratic, and unconstitutional political system established to benefit the fiduciary and catalysts leading the unsustainable politics.

When ID is required in all functionality and operations in society, the elimination of voter ID and citizenship status proposed by democrat party as the slim majority in the current United States Senate is alarming making the electoral process symbolic and a mere formality in alignment with the democrat primary experienced in 2024 Presidential election.

The systemic culture to destroy the democratic principles and constitutional nature endanger national sovereignty from within more than any adversarial threats from outside.
