Presidential assassinations are the norm in global politics and the reason behind such fate is necessary to understand the risks in political career.

United States:

President Abraham Lincoln (Republican) – The abolition of slavery and emancipation of black Americans from white slave ownership and discrimination.

President John F. Kennedy (Democrat) – The public statement denouncing the secret society as ‘repugnant’ and called for open society.

Yet another vocal candid stance was opposition to Israel’s secret nuclear weapons and called for the termination of the Negev Nuclear site near Dimona.

Palestine:
Palestinian Leader Yasser Arafat (PLO) – seeking peace and independence ending Israeli illegal colonization and occupation of Palestine.

Venezuela:

President Hugo Chavez: The populous leader for nationalizing Venezuela oil resources in protection against western energy companies market capitalization. The Venezuelan President survived earlier assassination attempts like Palestinian PLO leader Yasser Arafat and
