Greece – Plebiscite No Vote Victory

July 5, 2015

By Padmini Arhant

Hello Everyone!

Today has been a remarkable day for Greece.

Greece had a plebiscite on austerity.  The people delivered the message with NO vote.

I would like to convey my heartfelt Congratulations to the citizens in Greece and the government headed by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis of the political party Syriza along with independent party in coalition representing the people of Greece.

You have truly spoken in the referendum with your NO vote. Your rejection of austerity.

I consider this a victory to Democracy.

Democracy is in action for the fist time in the world standing up against counterproductive policy.

Greece introduced democracy to the world. Once again Greece restored democracy to make people choice relevant.

Citizens in Greece, you have taken a bold decision that required courage and enormous will. You have demonstrated your pledge of allegiance to your country.

Every one of you must be proud of yourself for this incredible action.

The immediate future might be turbulent for you.

You have been through so much in the past 8 years.

You are in a position to weather the storm. This will not be anything as compared with what you have endured up until now.

There is lot of speculation and commentary about what might happen to Greece?

This is directly related to your present and future. All that you need to remember is Greece has been around for a long time well before and during the crisis.

Greece will be able to deal with any problems now on.

You had to go through extremely difficult time. The world witnessed your pain.

Life experience serves as the strength to face any challenges in the long term.

When you reflect on the past you realize that you were able to survive the worst time in your life and now have the resolve not to succumb to any crisis.

The time might appear uncertain with no guaranteed outcome. However, you should not let this become a permanent situation.

Mistakes made in the past are not to be repeated again.

Strong commitment is required to face the upcoming changes and with due diligence, wisdom and perseverance you could transform the economic status from recession to recovery.

You have stood behind the government headed by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and the political party Syriza as well as the coalition.

The government will have to move ahead to lead the country in the path of progress.

The first step would be to find financial solutions to the cash strapped economy and emerging out of capital deficiency. Furthermore implementing critical fiscal and monetary policy besides improving macroeconomic conditions and adopting result-oriented strategy are the keys to success.

You will not be alone in this journey.

I will be providing you with a comprehensive guidance and restructuring of the economy for your reference and application.

Unity and collective responsibility would make the task less burdensome.

Greece has taken a new birth with hope that will turn into reality through efficiency and determination to prevail.

Good Luck to citizens in Greece and the government under leadership Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and others or speedy economic revival.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

United States – July 4th, Independence (?)

July 5, 2015

By Padmini Arhant

United States observed July 4th independence with fireworks and social meeting.

Is there real freedom today?

If so, at what cost is the freedom available?

The tradition on wealth accumulation, power struggle, territorial annexations for dominance and economic warfare through debt slavery continues similar to pre-twentieth century.

The imperialistic ambitions to acquire resources in foreign land persists up until now and crimes against humanity committed with political immunity.

The quest for regional and global conquest is the undying dogma in human race despite death a certainty in life.

Election with unlimited funding from diverse sources bidding on candidacy at the local to national level for exclusive rights and accordingly candidates’ loyalty remaining with campaign donors could not be a democratic process.

When external forces rein control over political system and exert authority steering the nation towards their goals and vested interests leaving the people in economic plight and use the national defense force as private army for delusional aspirations that country is not free.

As for the economy, the legislations predominantly favorable to the wealthiest becoming wealthier at the rest of the population expense widening economic and social inequality could not be claimed as progress.

The incentives and tax benefits to dominant players in the economic sector for creating, retaining and increasing jobs are not delivered due to offshore expansion and activities prioritizing shareholders interests and neglecting the workforce in the domestic front.

With respect to consumers in the United States – health care reform disproportionately adjusted to satisfy health insurance and health industry demands with additional subscribers under mandatory insurance law in the shadow of high premiums and limited options for quality care.

Retail businesses unable to compete and sustain losses in the high unemployment situation.

In the absence of effective tax reform with fair share of taxes, the mainstream population is burdened with the responsibility.

The national budget allocation diverted to preferred expenditure such as military and nuclear proliferation with no desire to lead the world towards ending conflicts in Syria, Iraq, Libya, Yemen and the rest of the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

On the contrary sponsoring terrorism to continue endless violence in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen besides further ammunition supply to dictatorial regimes in Bahrain and elsewhere continues unabated to justify enormous military spending depriving ordinary Americans economic opportunity.

Judiciary functioning on quid pro quo with political establishment is anything but constitutional.

Civil rights infringement with massive surveillance and body scan procedures at the airports on law-abiding citizens strengthened under the guise of national security alongside funding and arming terror networks worldwide.

False flag events shooting unarmed civilians – African Americans in particular combined with police brutality maintained to stir racial discord.

Guantanamo Bay and secret prisons overseas with gross human rights violation considered necessary to shield the real perpetrators behind 9/11 operation.

Environment abuse granting special privileges to leading oil and mining companies, defense, pharmaceutical and other industries are the regular practice.

Social issues and religion exploited to promote political ideology and illusive doctrine. The educational institutions are used as the platform for political propagation and confusion.

The academia prohibiting alternative views on contentious issues concerning the state of Israel and foreign policy ignore reality over fidelity to specific cause.

Communication media and outlets including entertainment industry reserved for misinformation with subversion of facts and history.

The prevalent conditions could not be declared as freedom.

United States independence is challenged due to broken promises and misplaced allegiance.

Liberty and sovereignty are inalienable rights and hence non-negotiable.

July 4th is a reminder to claim freedom from subjugation.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Greece – Economic Crisis And Troika Deal or Extortion?

July 2, 2015

By Padmini Arhant

The ongoing economic crisis in the Mediterranean country Greece originated from the sub prime mortgage debacle in the United States in December 2007.

The hedge fund and international securities traded by investment firms nowadays as equity management companies viz. Goldman Sachs then engaged in Greece is initially responsible for Greece economic recession due to bad decisions and directives including misrepresentation to creditors at that time.

Goldman Sachs along with many financial institutions behind gross mishandling and mismanagement triggering economic bleeding in early 2008 experienced earlier in Iceland and endured until today in Greece, Portugal, Spain, Ireland and Italy viz. PIGS…in Western and Northern Europe were bailed out with no stipulations and granted taxpayers funds exceeding trillion in the United States treating the cash payout to bankers as their privilege.

Subsequently the global economic meltdown with severity in Europe weighted down Greek economy tied with euro zone.

The euro as the national currency in Greece and throughout EU excluding England with over optimism on the common unit has failed to deliver the value pegged to the unstable and superficial commodity.

European Union policy of austerity on Greece strangling the country with demands on economic reforms primarily favoring the international creditors viz. International Monetary Fund (IMF), European Central Bank (ECB) and European Commission (EC) or EU presided financial package essentially behind Greece default.

The troika imposed austerity to streamline spending in the absence of economic growth stimulants in Greece evidently debilitated the cash strapped nation.

The two bailouts to Greece in 2010 and 2012 €240 billion ($272 billion) substantially expended in servicing the debt to international lenders viz. the troika – IMF, ECB and EC as well as the financial institutions with stake in Greece rather than direct investments in the economy promoting employment and business prospects for the citizens across the country.

The massive layoffs, salary cuts and pension reductions in compliance with EU bailout requirement further exacerbated the economic situation.

Following the adverse effects of austerity, the Greek electorate elected the anti-austerity political party – Syriza headed by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras forming the coalition government with the independent party in Greece.

The ruling party in Greece consistently maintained negotiations with international lenders since election on January 25, 2015 alongside systematic improvement in reform focused on alleviating poverty and adopting strategy to satisfy obligations on the bailout program.

The troika conditions to incumbent government request on the six months extension to bailout deal deserve attention.

Greece approached the international lenders aka Troika to grant from the profits on ECB held Greek bonds to meet the immediate financial needs. The fund €12 billion ($13.4 billion) was scheduled as the offer.

In that amount €1.6 billion ($1.79 billion) payment to the IMF on June 30, 2015 was the priority and now that date has expired. Another €6.7 billion is to be settled with ECB in July and August.

Greece was offered a possible bailout not intended to relieve the economy from deterioration instead to enable Greece to pass that amount €1.6 billion ($1.79 billion) to IMF as loan payment at exorbitant interest rates and prepare for payments to ECB within weeks of receiving the third bailout amount.

Greece essentially used by lenders to profit from lending through money circulation amongst them under the pretext of rescue scheme with Greek citizens forced to bear the lending costs and high interest.

  1. Reducing pension payments that would only affect consumer spending with impact on retail business and ripple effects on the wholesale and manufacturing on domestic products while restricting import from EU and abroad.
  1. Increase Value Added Taxes (VAT) – in the dire economic environment, the average consumers forced to pay more taxes in addition to hikes up until now to payback lenders is an extreme measure contributing to consumer woes and limiting business activity in return.
  1. Military Expenditure cuts – perhaps setting the stage for complete NATO control over the nation.
  1. Privatization of country’s airports – the proposition from EU and lenders is a deviation from relevant options and subscribe to ulterior goals.

In response to international lenders harsh austerity imposition;

Greece Government reforms comprised – efficient tax collection methods, social security system and streamlining government bureaucracy. The additional steps included anti-corruption and promoting business as well as backing privatization in the economic sector.

As a result of Greece government and Troika failure on the agreement, the referendum on July 5 is expected to reject or accept EU, ECB and IMF rigorous austerity.

Despite Greece administration’s numerous concessions and adjustments to accommodate EU and lenders chronic treatment evidently a flawed recommendation,

The lenders declined the roadmap that had 70 percent of Troika trails and 30 percent Greece government shelter to save the economically deprived population from abject poverty.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has called the nation for NO vote on EU austerity in the upcoming referendum.

The last minute overtures from the Greek leadership to EU and creditors has been in vain.

Greece citizens need to understand the entire scenario and act accordingly to relieve them from the persisting economic calamity and potential power vacuum paving way for EU and partners to install the government of their choice like in Ukraine.

The present Greece government is poised to resign upon YES referendum to EU and international creditors ultimatum.

EU and creditors stringent austerity on economically struggling nations has been counterproductive. Yet there is no acknowledgment from them and the hard line approach towards Greece is similar to the neighbor Cyprus account.

Cyprus bailout was tied to closure of the nation’s second largest bank, Laiki Bank and a 47.5 percent cut on deposits over 100,000 euros at the Bank of Cyprus for recapitalization.

The same formula was applied to Iceland problem and led to brink of economic collapse.

Cyprus capital Nicosia was hamstrung like Greece now and Cypriot parliament pushed into first post-bailout budget prior to receiving €83 million as installment payment from Troika in late 2013 and early 2014,

The austerity on Cyprus was identical to instructions to Greece – pensions and salaries were targeted with the outcome being dramatic escalation in poverty and unemployment in the country.

Interestingly Troika projection on Cyprus economic status after EU and euro zone austerity was the gross domestic product contraction to 7.7 percent in 2013.

IMF, ECB and EC/EU prolonged austerity only tightens the noose around citizens to submit to unreasonable unaffordable trend.

IMF and World Bank legacy in transforming developing nations to banana republic as it happened in Argentina, Panama, Chile, Indonesia and Mexico…are few of many countries drawn into the debt dragnet.

The developments against Cyprus and Greece serve as strong reminder for the people to protect their sovereignty.

The international creditors regrettable actions thus far confirm the reputation as predators ignoring the fact that austerity alone without revenue not viable for economic recovery.

Greece is confronted with EU and euro zone pursuit to topple present government for the stance against austerity based on reality.

If the referendum on July 5 anything like the event on Scotland independence with fraudulent means generating the predetermined outcome, Greece future would be bleak.

EU attempt to expel Greece government with Prime Minister Alexis Tspras is tactfully deployed creating circumstances for the government to seek people consent on EU austerity in the background of Syriza party elected to power to spare the citizens from economic plight inflicted via austerity.

In a way EU’s tactical move is to turn people against the government with Troika officials not entertaining Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras modified reforms to satisfy lender’s extraordinary gains from human misery.

Greece would survive the economic and political storm on its shores in returning to original currency – drachma for euro survival is not possible considering the lenders’ and EU irrational economic growth resistant strategy crippling economies to the point of no return.

Greece was the first nation to introduce democracy to the world and when democracy is threatened by forces to unseat the caring government that prioritize people over self-interest, the citizens must rise to the occasion and safeguard liberty that would then guarantee economic progress.

Greece voting NO to austerity on July 5 and retaining their honor by rallying with the current government opposed to EU plan that denies decent wages, pensions and business opportunity for jobs would demonstrate fairness prevailing over darkness.

Troika deal is nothing more than extortion exploiting the critical moment in Greece.

Greece defiance to EU and international banks austerity is the saving grace.

Greece unity to proudly defend the country from overt control under the guise of monetary aid would prevent Greece economy from free fall.

The clarion call to Greece is to back your government under the leadership of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and alliance to overcome the external challenge.

The major stumbling block is EU and euro zone membership with inherent complexity such as any submission on economic matter is subject to review, debate and approval by every other member state parliament and political consensus within.

The irony – EU preaching austerity hardly observes the tradition with EU officials and delegations appointments and salaries being an extravagant affair.  Even to hire the EU appointee, the amount spent in the recruitment process is not less than million euro.

EU insistence on fiscal discipline exempt them from the protocol.

Good Luck and best wishes to Greece and the government of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in the speedy economic revival as an independent nation.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

India – Lalit Modi Twitterati Causing Political Storm

July 1, 2015

By Padmini Arhant

The Indian political establishment is presently engaged in mudslinging and screaming match desperately trying to protect them from the political storm caused by IPL founder and chief Lalit Modi.

IPL – Indian premier league, the cricket tournament started few years ago attracting investors from the entertainment industry, economic sector and political arena.

IPL founder and mentor Lalit Modi – allegedly a fugitive facing various allegations ranging from embezzlement to corruption scandals in India.

As I mentioned earlier much to Bollywood Moguls’ irate for they are prime investors in IPL, IPL – Indian Premier League facilitates money laundering and tax evasion for the bourgeois – the rich, famous and the powerful in Indian society.

Indian political class with all sides having some relationship and connection with the controversial IPL icon Lalit Modi are currently involved in the blame game.

Indian Prime Minister Modi remarked in the latest speech on the potential cyber threat claiming anyone with mere 10th or 12 th class education miles away could potentially wipe away the bank account and warned the nation to be prepared for the ‘bloodless’ cyber war.

Yet supposedly learned IPL chief Lalit Modi from miles away implicated on embezzlements running into billions technically siphoning Indian national treasury with members of Indian political apparatus collusion and complicity exemplify the state of affairs in multidimensional context. i.e. education, ethics and economic bankruptcy.

Lalit Modi’s twitters from offshore evidently prompting the Indian Parliament chirping and I play this song from Indian cinema that aptly describes the present somber mood in Indian political scene.

This song is brought to you with pleasure from me for your entertainment.

The song subtitles briefly is –

Let me remain behind the curtain

Do not lift the curtain

If the curtain is lifted

Then the secrets will be out in the open!

Enjoy the melody.

Incognito Rule Hypocrisy

June 29, 2015

By Padmini Arhant

My opponents are essentially the opposition forces resisting peace, universal freedom and harmony.

They trade venom and expect honey in return.

Their violations of others rights and privacy are regarded their prerogative and entitlement.

They need to realize that imperial and colonial attitude and disposition has no place in the present and future cosmic oriented time.

The proxies and servile contingency are on board the sinking Titanic.  Hence death threats from them and their masters would have irreversible impact on them.

The immature posturing further exposes the prevalent insecurity and trepidation prompting saber rattling from them.

When they engage in smear campaigns and personal attacks they should also have the courage and integrity to receive appropriate response.

Is this not a fair expectation from those whom they target with propaganda for defamation and denigration?

When I respond to such unruly conduct by them, their reaction is to characterize my response as me being a reactionary.

The wind does not blow in one direction.

Incognito Rule desperation cannot be feigned any longer with the activities viz. pedophilia, philandering and promiscuity experimenting lewd desires in Bohemian Grove speak volume of the participants real identity.

Briefly, the opponents along with their proxies have no credibility to dictate me on propriety.

Moving along – I would like to focus on two important issues that deserve attention.

The United States Supreme Court ruling on two matters – Obama Care and Same Sex Marriage.

Obama Care – the health care legislation that was meant to be health care reform to correct the inherently flawed system was fortified with more opportunity for the health insurance and health care industry to exert control and exploit the imposition of mandatory health insurance subscription that became effective in January 2014.

In the absence of stipulations to meet their end of the bargain, the health insurance and health care industry position solidified while leaving 37 million new subscribers brought into health care ambit as a result of compulsory health insurance purchase to deal with health care industry policy.

There are many in the United States who cannot afford due to Affordable Care Act or Obama Care providing dominant status to health insurance and health care industry.

The exchange of favors in the process leading to health care legislation and mutual monetary benefits amongst negotiators cannot be ignored.

Furthermore, the quid pro quo between the administration and Supreme Court justices as the White House nominees is instrumental in upholding Obama Care for the second time.

I reiterate my statement from the past that lifetime appointment to Supreme Court in the United States is detrimental to democracy and the tradition maintained to protect the respective political parties interests much to the republic despair and disadvantage.

The cases are – 2000 Presidential Election favoring then republican candidate George W. Bush.

Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission – allowing Corporations and Special interests in the domestic and foreign shores to own state and national election depriving people representation.

Rejecting citizens plea on war crimes committed during Iraq war and the lawsuit against former defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld and accomplice denied by the highest court on land.

Now Supreme Court decision on Obama Care is honoring the pact amongst the appointees and the administration.

With respect to United States Supreme Court recognition of Same Sex marriage – the issue is politically motivated rather than eliminating social prejudice and marginalization of demography and segments in society.

Regardless, I consider this a huge victory in humanitarian context.

The incognito rule and contingency spare none and nothing with inalienable trait of parasitic existence.

The incognito rule obsession with citizens’ life comprising massive and invasive surveillance notwithstanding police brutality on the street is overt transition into a police state.

Accordingly religion, social issues, politics, economy and environment are abused to masquerade declining status.

Incognito rule and their representatives in the legislative, executive and judiciary care less about the existing social inequality and crimes against citizens from different background based on race, religion, ethnicity and sexual orientation.

The shooting spree targeting African Americans in church and Main Street would not persist unabated and likewise detainees in Guantanamo Bay and secret prisons would not be held indefinitely without due process i.e. legal access to prove innocence.

Again the police brutality towards unarmed civilians – the African Americans in particular would not be slighted with occasional ceremonial gestures to display concern only confirming disingenuous act.

The juveniles and adults held in the prison industrial complex in the United States would not become commodities for profitability in the prison trade.

The taxpayers funded police force unleashed to threaten and harm the unarmed citizens on racial bias.

National army used as the incognito power personal army to militarize the planet.

The current trend is sponsoring terrorism and cannibalism in the quest for global conquest.

I will be back with my thoughts on election used by incognito power to prolong the unsustainable degenerative demonstrably destructive rule on the planet.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

Pipal TreeLord Buddha attained Nirvana under Pipal Tree

Pipal TreePalm Tree

By Padmini Arhant

Hello Everyone,

I present the topic Incognito rule hypocrisy.

Please click on the audio link for the content.

Although the pictures are worth a thousand words – some might need explanation.

The obsession with tall syndrome deserves clarification to dispel myths in this context.

The tall palm tree or the cypress tree in the pictures above do not provide shade for shelter during sunny or rainy day compared with banyan, pipal and other trees of medium heights in natural environment.

The coconuts from a palm tree are not easily accessible and require mechanism to climb the tree to collect the fruit unlike the medium height tree allowing anyone regardless of size to pick the hanging fruits from it.

Poignantly the modest height Pipal tree in Bodh Gaya, India – is famously known as the seat of enlightenment with Avatar of Lord Vishnu as Lord Buddha attaining Nirvana – the liberation of soul for union with Supreme soul.  Please see illustration above.

To narrow minds anything better and greater would always appear smaller.  The disposition despite towering heights make the source diminutive in stature and character – the relevant attributes in life.

Another example – The dinosaur Tyrannosaurus Rex – T-Rex is also a tall carnivore that wreaked havoc on earth and eventually became extinct. Tyrannosaurus derived from Tyranny that this TALL creature exhibited during existence.

Let this not be forgotten – the body of any length and size must be discarded upon departure from earth.  Accordingly any pride and prejudice in this respect is a reflection of shallow mind.

Learning and knowledge is demonstrated in pure thoughts and deeds freeing the self from ignorance.

Ignorance could be a bliss or an abyss.

Peace to all!

Thank you for your interest.

Africa – Burundi – Power Struggle And Electoral Process

June 27, 2015

By Padmini Arhant

The East African nation Burundi is forced into political crisis with incumbent President Pierre Nkurunziza seeking third consecutive five year term in office after serving from 2005 until 2015.

Burundi constitution allows maximum two terms in office. President Pierre Nkurunziza decision to extend term in office and subsequent measures to compete in the Presidential election has led to public protests with government violent crackdown deploying militia against unarmed citizens and opposition factions plunging the nation into political instability.

Not long ago Burundi was ravaged in civil war over ethnic clashes between Hulu and Tutsi tribes that began in 1993 and ended in 2005.

The election of President Pierre Nkurunziza in 2005 and the administration misuse of power until now evidently prompted unsuccessful military coup followed by arrests and unrest in the country.

Election is meaningful upon the process remaining fair, free, constitutional, transparent and most importantly devoid of corruption and violence.

Unfortunately in contemporary politics such expectation has become a tall order even though the electoral process without these basic requirements facilitates undesirable and unworthy choices to be elected to power only to abuse authority verifiable in legacy.

Furthermore removal of taxpayer funded extraordinary privileges and benefits in public office including means to earn kickbacks from various deals with economic and other sectors that is a major attraction in the fast track to wealth amassment in politics would skim disingenuous and unscrupulous entities from participation.

Politics would then perhaps attract selfless and genuinely dedicated members to do the needful for the people and the nation.

Additionally, anyone could always engage in community and national service using personal wealth and resources for that would confirm sincerity and commitment rather than aspiring political positions at taxpayers’ expense predominantly to achieve self and vested interests.

The leaderships after completing term in office would be wise to contribute positively as a member of civil society and renounce ambitions that are counterproductive.

The purpose behind constitution is to remind leaders and political members to abide by the rules and not slight the document to suit their convenience.

Any political system governed by hunger for power, fortune and individual goals to prolong self-rule and dynasty violate democracy denying the nation – republic status.

Burundi President Pierre Nkurunziza stepping down from office enabling other candidates to contest in the Presidential and national election would be honorable and set precedence in the present and future to respect the rule of law exempting none in the country.

The action would save the nation from unnecessary bloodshed and chaos for Burundi could no longer afford or sustain turmoil.

The lawmakers as law-breakers trend are the reason behind dysfunctional government.

The noble path is to lead by example demonstrating loyalty and trustworthiness through deeds not unending desire to claim authority against population will.

The people in Burundi deserve peaceful existence to rebuild lives towards progress and prosperity.

The development across the state possible when national leadership and government engage in constructive role and refrain from unleashing people paid services like police force and army to quell citizens voice.

Prioritizing country over self and political motives is necessary for resolution.

Best wishes to citizens in Burundi in gaining recognition for people choice governance.

Peace to all!

Thank you.

June 18, 2015

Dear Citizens,

The segment will focus on the United States Presidential race 2016.

I present my thoughts on two Presidential candidates – Hillary Clinton of the democratic party and Jeb Bush representing the republican party.

The other candidacies in the race will be discussed in the upcoming segment.

Your attention is critical for the world could no longer afford the status quo with the political systems worldwide under incognito power.

Furthermore, the participation and subsequent election more likely the selection of either the democratic contender Hillary Clinton or the republican challenger Jeb Bush would mean the continuation of Clinton or Bush dynasty in disguise as democracy besides perpetual warfare prolonging economic recession.
