The energetic drive from the young batsmen Sahibzada Farhan 100* Not Out is a terrific win for the team.

Similarly, bowlers like Usman Tariq, the most feared from Indian media perspective, and based on track record the consistent favorite among majority Pakistan cricket fans and experts, besides other players contributing to victory against Namibia is well deserving.

As mentioned earlier, T-20 was not over with the match against India in the qualifying round.

The teams from Netherlands and USA performed considerably well against India in this T-20 2026, despite them being relatively new like USA.

Even for Netherlands, they are new arrivals in the cricket game compared to old and tested India and Pakistan teams. Yet Netherlands’ competitiveness against India and Pakistan were the highlights of their individual display.

Pakistan team’s alleged mental block against Indian team is hyperbolic in the context of the sport and cricket in particular, with both teams having played several matches and won or lost alternately in different formats, settings and grounds world wide.

The narrative on Pakistan team’s mental block is to be overcome if at all such experience is prevalent among current Pakistan team.

Hindutva polity governed BCCI desperately wanted T-20 2026 Pak – India match for two reasons – Revenue and revenge.

Knowing well that Pak – India match is widely viewed, BCCI wanted Pakistan to withdraw boycott to rake fortune from Indian and vested interests’ investments in the broadcast and distribution.

The other reason is Hindutva polity / India never got over Asia Cup under 19 defeat against Pakistan in 2025.

Besides, Hindutva polity retreat when New Delhi engaged in aerial aggression against Pakistan in May 2025. Hindutva Polity was dismantled in the military incursion against Pakistan.

New Delhi politics premised on Hindutva ideology interjecting batsmen Ishan Kishan in the team, notably suspended for 2 years on disciplinary grounds, return to T-20 2026 after being dropped following T-20 2023 World Cup Indian defeat against Australia.

The developments raising skepticism and speculation in the latest T-20 2026 match are not without reasons.

Could Ishan Kishan had the opportunity, if the player’s name was different such as Rohit Sharma?

Hindutva politics run and managed BCCI ideological gimmick has lot of swing and swipes in turning events to own favor and advantage mostly by unsavory means.

It was critical for Hindutva politics to play against Pakistan not only from economic standpoint, but also settle scores on the backlash experienced in New Delhi’s provocation and aerial incursion against Pakistan in May 2025, that forced Hindutva politics retreat in the effective response from Pakistan Air force and defense performance.  

Politicizing sport, religion and social events is Hindutva doctrine directly linked to survival in the otherwise long lost legitimacy to remain in power.

The desperate has no problem in pawning anything for pseudo image and make-believe winning streak is established throughout political career.

“I was scoring runs and then I found myself on the bench. These things do happen in a team sport. However, I experienced travel fatigue. Failing that, if not in team spirit to win the game and match, the bowler out of concern for own reputation would play tactfully to claim the wicket, not bowl to generously supply runs to the batsmen enabling the competing team to form a comfortable lead.

Such performance from one member or at the most two within a team could be considered disappointing performance, and the players classified as not in form or blame it on the pitch.

Unfortunately, these avoidable mistakes were witnessed among Pakistan team’s three bowlers repeatedly assigned bowling who gave away runs to the combined total of more than 100 runs forming the bulk of the competitor score in 175 runs under Pakistan Team Captaincy in the match held on date against India in the T-20 2026 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The disarranged batting creating confusion and disorder that would have been averted by any team Captain with the goal to win the game and not orientate the team to a systemic collapse.

Last but not the least, the pitch / wicket tried and tested in the current and previous matches and proven to have favored the team opting to bat first upon winning the toss.

Here the Pakistan’s team Captain offers that opportunity to the competing side i.e. India, like extending courtesy in any hospitality industry to their patrons.

The game was played by Pakistan team like a benefit match in opposition viz. India’s favor.

The obvious consolidated disintegration in batting and bowling by Pakistan team in the highly anticipated and awaited match against India is a major let down for millions of Pakistan cricket fans, and accordingly raise valid questions on the coordinated dismal performance.

The earlier victory of Indian Cricket team against South Africa in the Caribbeans in Men’s T20 World Cup in 2024 was a similar scenario where South Africa was thwarted from exceeding India’s miracle 176 runs.

Politics involved in deal making between United States former Presidency of African lineage positioning South Africa as South India especially Tamil Nadu, and the ally India in power sharing, the pact could not be ruled out especially to help India heal from the bruised defeat in 2023 against Australia at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Again, the Indian women’s cricket team wins world cup in 2025 against none other than South Africa – presumed South India, viz. Tamil Nadu in the bizarre concoction, subversion of facts, and distortion of geographical region to suit western (United States democrat) politics’ twisted misinterpretation and misappropriation.

The former Indian Cricketer Kapil Dev issuing warning to Pakistan in the nuanced callous trend acquiescing to western discriminatory diktat, is reminded that the same Indian sportsman together with many other so-called celebrities, and sports personalities, besides prominent Indian political members including then ruling Congress Party in New Delhi along with Indian media spared no opportunity in denigrating and humiliating own country India to appease western mockery of Indian environment from sanitary conditions to other event modalities and facilities that were replayed in graphic images and narratives when India almost decided to abandon the hosting of XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 in New Delhi, India.

Who came forward against all odds and kickstarted the event is evidenced in this publication then in 2010.

Congratulations! To Pakistan for demonstrating extraordinary sportsmanship in the agreement to play T-20 2026 against India with high economic stakes especially for India.

ICC as a result of BCCI politics was in hot waters considering the investments involved by vested interests that would have otherwise tanked had Pakistan maintained the legitimate boycott on Indian politicizing of the sport in the unfair and unethical expulsion of Bangladesh.

Pakistan is still very much part of the tournament with remaining matches to be played until the final round whoever that might be in the grand final.

In Asia Cup 2025 under 19 tournament, the scenario was similar with Pakistan losing against India in the initial round, and then emerged winner in the final match against India with Pakistan’s youth cricketer singular spectacular score 175 odd runs against the entire Indian team score of 155 runs in that international event.

In this T20 there has been many surprises with Nepal losing against Italy, and likewise England and Australia experiencing their loss against teams that were not expected to be formidable.

Winning and losing is never permanent.

However, humility and civility to shake hands upon winning and losing in particular with the other team, and committee members in public view makes the gesture more honorable than winning any innings.

Pakistan extending kinship and solidarity with Bangladesh upon the latter discriminatively isolated due to Indian politics’ influence on the international organization like International Cricket Council, the ICC with the remaining members being silent spectators conforming to complicity shed light on sports to be distinct and delineated from hegemonic politics.

Pakistan set a remarkable precedence in sportsmanship with emphasis on fairness in the treatment of members in an international sport.

Pakistan Cricket Board and the selection committee heeding game experts and audience call on team selection would be prudent rather than retaining own standard to stick with players, consistently proven under performers or non-delivery individuals in the relevant skills as batsmen, bowler and fielder.

The sports fans could bring about the change on the cricket board and system to select those players who can deliver unlike the members selected to make up for the team.

Such practice to provide repeat opportunities to players despite declined and dismal track record is like experiments done using the same failed method with expectation of a different result.

The culture prevalent in politics with many on life time tenure in and out of office regardless of corruption and criminality throughout political career and yet continue with impunity.

The sports fans listing names of players and experts sharing their views in the selection process would be a collaborative effort for successful outcome.

At the end of the day, all things ultimately remain with viewership, without whom the event would not have excitement through audience participation.

Not to mention, the viewership directly linked to revenue and profitability in all dimensions and aspects.

T20 is still on and all not lost with this match for Pakistan. Nonetheless, the team overhaul with top notch calibre is the way moving forward.

The International Cricket Council taken over as Indian Cricket Council through corruption embedded BCCI – The Board of Control for Cricket in India is a case study for ICC to inevitably land in financial ICU.

BCCI renowned for incentives viz. bribes and assortment short cuts and shady deals to buy favorable decisions is classic degenerative politics prevalent in Indian political realm leading the sport cricket, originally claimed as “the gentlemen game”, drastically transformed into Indian political status quo i.e. partisanship, horse trading and gross violations. 

ICC at BCCI’s behest flouting standard rules against Bangladesh ousting the team from the international T20 2026 tournament with decisions once approved against those citing security threat such as Britain against Zimbabwe followed by Australia, New Zealand, South Africa against their expressed destinations and,

India declined against Pakistan in Pakistan, despite the absence of any such possibilities with guaranteed security were refused by BCCI chaired by Indian politics.

All of the above teams from different regions’ requests were granted by ICC allowing them to exercise preference. 

When Bangladesh Cricket team shared similar concern on legitimate grounds about playing the international tournament T20 2026 in India, especially with,

Unlike politics, sports and social activities spared from exclusion, and instead expansion with equal norms and guidelines barring selective criteria exempting those favored and depriving another for political reason is a disservice to the entertainment field that attracts global spectators to the event.

Congratulations! to the winning Australian cricket team clinching the World Cup championship defending the title for sixth time in the event.

The team efforts under able captaincy of Pat Cummins and individual performance by Travis Head together with the rest of the team is a fruitful display.

The competitor Indian team having consecutively won in the tournament is impressive though the final outcome anticipated by mass spectators apparently disappointing given the sport cricket is religion in India.

Nonetheless, winning with humility and accepting defeat gracefully is sure to win admiration regardless.

The competitiveness with improvements addressed in future games is best moving forward.

The congressional hearing on women’s sports undermined with politically referenced trans members is a situation brought up by woke culture.

Women’s sports reserved and remaining exclusively for biologically born women is critical for level playing field and fair competitiveness in any sports activity.

Simultaneously the members identifying themselves as trans women or men grouped with similar gender orientation competing among within from anywhere in the state, country and regions of the world in national and international sports events would be appropriate meeting the relevant criteria.

The separation would then resolve the physical strength or weakness compatibility issue highlighted in the current mixing of these category of athletes predominantly for political reasons causing unnecessary confusion and discrimination against all of them.

The segregation would allow women sports to effectively compete against each other without any advantage or disadvantage of physical attributes of any other member in politics identified and referred to trans community.

The political connotation of trans members contesting among themselves with events organized individually for them in a manner like men, women and special Olympics sports would conform to sports parity with separate but equal outcome.

The politics’ interjection of trans group in women category withdrawn and delineated to form own segment performing in the chosen sports against likened category is the dignified permanent resolution to the otherwise politics’ induced societal discord.

Importantly, athletes and any citizen from across the spectrum letting politics know not to use, abuse and exploit their status of any kind for political mileage, targeted smear campaign and dispensation is critical for individual self-esteem which is often taken for granted in the misuse of political power and intended indignation under the guise of recognition.

Society is repeatedly subject to test and trials in such political experiment of misguided diversity.

Accordingly, politics focus on governance in shaping the economy on track stymieing inflation and corruption rather than disrupting social harmony desired among people regardless of differences of any type for peaceful co-existence is the absolute solution.

In arriving at such conclusion, Congress need not waste taxpayer dollars in presiding over show and tell sessions on these topics and many other politically instigated social dilemma.

Science and sports are adventures in their respective fields involving mind, body and spirit coordination. 

Unfortunately, science in the onset of the pandemic as an exception with inconsistency in public health protocol and guidelines leading to questionable reliability in preventing and containing the pandemic proved a misguided adventure in COVID19 mitigation. 

Whereas sports like Skydiving as drawn analogy with pandemic instructions in late night comedy monologue is a direct contrast in reality. 

Skydiving instructors and skydivers engage in the activity that might be viewed extreme by some or many after knowing and understanding the risks and safety mechanisms of the act. 

In other words, the skydivers are fully briefed and provided comprehensive information on the activity with complete and full liberty to exercise discernment and discretion to change the mind until the last minute before taking the dive. 

The skydivers with skydive instructors are aware of the pros and cons factoring the calculated risks / hazards with security as the most important consideration. There is no force, coercion or solicitation of any kind. The involvement is entirely voluntary accepting sole responsibility for the decision. 

In comparison, the pandemic recommendations are mandatory and the minimal to major risks in the prescribed methods are expected to be absorbed entirely by the individual expected to follow the mandate.

The pandemic public health directions thus far has been wavering from one extreme to another with more speculations than specifications.

Furthermore, unlike skydiving rule, the pandemic advice accommodates no choice in individual determination of personal well being.

Accordingly, the pandemic handling thus far has been anything but reassuring in the much anticipated herd immunity via fully vaccinated or naturally infected means regarded the saving grace in ending the health disaster in recent memory. 

Amidst confusion and chaos, science and human population are victims of arbitrary positions maintained to suit political narrative rather than scientific resolution.

Congratulations! Pakistan in winning the ICC Championship 2017 Trophy.  The spectacular performance enabled victory against all odds in the tournament. 

The resilience from the teams written off as underdogs rising to be fierce contestants contributed to excitement in the game. 

The lesson for those riding high on overconfidence is – one should never count the chickens before they are hatched proved time and time again.
